The single level home features a rock fireplace, large wrap around deck, newly remodeled kitchen with stainless appliances, cedar walls, new wood floors, flat screen TV, newly tiled bathrooms, and an open floor plan for easy conversations. These amenities along with the hot tub facing the forest gives not only a luxury but a private experience. In the summer guests can easily walk to the Agate Bay pool facility and the Tahoe Rim Trail.

House was great. Big wrap around deck with nice forest and small lake views. House is very private with nice wooded yard backing up to forest. Walking distance to pier and beach club, a plus w/kids. Furnishings very nice in house and very comfortable for us, our 2 kids and dog. Only real negative was the cleanliness of house could be improved on especially since it's a dog friendly house. Portable electric fans would also be nice as it was hot and stuffy with no aC. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would revisit as we love this location, the house and the amenities (pier/swim/tennis club) included.

My wife and I rented this cabin from the folks at agate Bay and the owner for the winter months. We had an exceptional time, the owner and staff at agate Bay are courteous and helpful. The setting of this particular property is wonderful, it backs right up to state forest and you can sit out on the deck and look at the lake.

There is nothing I would change about my stay at Tash house. The setting was perfect inside and out. We were able to walk out the back door and go for a hike, sit in the hot tub under the umbrella of the forest and sit in a comfy armchair in a sunny window and enjoy the view of the lake. The interior was tastefully done and really set the mood. I am looking forward to staying here again.

The house was very comfortable and clean. The refrigerator dispensor for ice and water was not working. The TV and sound system was enjoyable and the hot tub was great!

It is a beautiful home, but very upset about 4 pm check in time. That is way to late, and felt I should be able to check in eariler to enjoy the time and house in Tahoe. That's why I felt it was over priced. Then check out is really early so you get ripped off with the time vs. How much you are paying. Doors didn't lock from patio and were afraid of bears coming in.

We are sorry to hear you were upset. Check in times are based on whether someone occupied the cabin the night before. In this case someone did so the housekeeper needs between 11am and 3pm to clean the home. If you stay during a less busy time period, we can accommodate early check in's and late checkouts. its nice cabin at nice location. its kinda smaller than pictures but still so nice clean and comfortable vacation home. Neighborhood is really quiet and close to beach and pier. Also hot tub!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Tash cabin for our honeymoon. The place was very nicely decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely like to stay at one of the cabins again sometime.

We went to the Tash house for a long weekend with my husband's parents who flew in from the UK.
We had such a wonderful stay. The house is done very tastefully with a gourmet kitchen. The rooms are cozy and comfortable and it's nice to have 2 separate bathrooms.
It also has a lovely deck with a panoramic view. Since you're surrounded by trees, it feels private. We watched a thunderstorm roll in one night through the big glass doors and sipped wine after a long hike. Heaven!
I would highly recommend the Tash house. -

The cabin was excellent. Great views from the deck, and I especially loved the elegant kitchen.
The only draw back no master bath, two lovely designed baths and a wonderful rain shower make up for the lack of a master suite.

My husband and I loved this place. We take our anniversary vacation every year at this time. The Tash House was absolutely perfect. It was private, well furnished and even had a view. We brought our dog which was a nice addition to our trip. It is close to everything yet far enough away to be quiet. We will be back.

All in all a great weekend. Agate realty gave good service before the arrival and the place was clean & as promised when we arrived. Arrangements with the swim club & pier also went well. So, a good experience all round.

The house was easy to book online and we were able to check in early and check out late (we got lucky). The location was perfect for us and our dog with a great trail directly behind the house for us all. The lake with a dog friendly beach was only about a 20 or 30 minute walk away. The house was actually smaller than the online pictures make it look, but overall it was very comfortable and we would definitely go back.

We loved staying at Tash! We were able to relax the moment we opened the door! It was great we could bring our 75 lb. laborador with us and he was very comfortable in this home with plenty of room to play inside and outside. We found Tash to be well furnished and enjoyed that it is set in a very quiet neighborhood and the house backed up to the forest....which provided a lot of privacy. Hot tub set in the back of the house was private and really nice after a long day. The floor to ceiling windows in the family room provided a great view of the lake for breakfast! House, furnishings, and property big enough for kids too! We will stay at Tash again and would definitely recommend staying at Tash for family (including FIDO) or for a romantic getaway!

Spent a long weekend in this cabin. It allowed
pets so we were able to bring our large dog
who loved playing in the snow in the
mountains surrounding the cabin.
The cabin itself was all woood and very cozy.
