Tahoe Vista is located between Tahoe City and Incline, in the heart of the north shore. A short walk from the house to sandy beaches (Moon Dune & Agatam Beach), large Regional Park within a mile has varied recreation from Sledding Slope to Tennis courts! Six ski slopes & resorts with 25 min. and just 2 short blocks to Lake or to a forest of very tall trees! House is in a residential neighborhood of long-time home owners.

Garden Grove, CaRhapsody Blue is like our second home!

My family has stayed at Rhapsody several times over many years with groups as small as just four (my nuclear family) and as large as eight (including friends and relatives).
Mostly we've stayed in the summer but this year we stayed over the Christmas/New Year week for our first winter ski getaway. The home is impeccable with excellent amenities including a nicely stocked kitchen with high quality modern appliances (stove/oven/microwave/dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer) and well organized with full sets of dishes/cups/glasses/silverware and cookware.
There's a usable 2-car garage and an accessible large woodpile out back for feeding the very effective fireplace.
The decor is quaint (mountain cabin) but virtually perfect for all guest comforts and conveniences.
Everything is very well maintained and regularly updated to the most modern amenities; high-speed wireless throughout, hi-def programming with a 46" HD TV (in the living room) and a multi-room DVR, premium channels and on-demand programming. There's also a high quality Samsung Blu Ray player in the living room. And there are Tv's in the master bedroom and in the back bedroom.
There's a large jacuzzi tub in the upstairs master bedroom.
The home is located in Tahoe Vista just a short walk from gorgeous Moondunes Beach (~1/4 mile) in a quiet and secluded residential neighborhood. There are a few trail-heads within a few hundred yards of the front door.
The Brockway nine-hole golf course is about a 3/4ths of a mile from the house in Kings Beach which also has many nice shops, restaurants and entertainment venues (parks, beaches, theater and mini-golf).
Overall, this is a perfect vacation home for any season - well equipped and stocked and reasonably priced given that it sleeps up to 10 people. The only minor drawbacks are not having a lake view and it would benefit from having two water heaters to support the 2 shower/baths and kitchen and laundry facilities.
It's a highly recommended property.

My family spent time at Rhapsody in the Blue over the Christmas holiday. The home was cozy, well furnished and had plenty of space. The children particularly enjoyed the small loft area where they could watch their Dvd's and play their games. I would highly recommend the home. It has all the ammenities that anyone would want and had a perfect location near sledding and skiing areas. The lake is 2 blocks away. There are restaurants nearby and a Safeway market.
The owners, Gary and Marti Barmore, made sure everything was perfect. Instructions were easily available for anything that we might have had questions about.
This was an a+ vacation for us and we wouldn't hesitate to return. -

We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to spend a quality weekend or vacation getaway with family and/or friends. My partner and I spent a lovely week with family and friends at the beautiful Rhapsody at the Blue. We were so excited to find an affordable place that was so nice, it's homey, spacious and perfect! Plenty of room for everyone. The photos do not even begin to do it justice. Truly beautiful with everything you could possibly need. Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels, bedding, Wi-Fi, and every amenity one can think of (including hotel style shampoos, soaps et al in each of the bathrooms.) They even have extra snow wear in the closets! We felt instantly at home!
The location is perfect. The house is just a short distance from the ski resorts and a few blocks from the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
Best of all, Marti and Gary are great owners. They were both a joy to work with providing exceptional service and addressing all of our concerns and answering our million questions! We are looking forward to making this an annual event at the beautiful Rhapsody at the Blue!
