Come enjoy this Lake Tahoe retreat tucked away in a quiet Kings Beach neighborhood! With four bedrooms, this vacation home offers space for up to 16 guests, making it perfect for a group trip or a large family gathering. You'll also have a private outdoor hot tub, a game room, cozy furnishings, and conveniences like a washer and dryer, WiFi, and satellite TV.
The main level holds a large living room with plush carpeting, a wood burning fireplace, a flat screen TV, and a DVD player for family movie nights. There's a lovely wood beamed ceiling and comfortable furnishings for relaxing, socializing, or even taking an afternoon nap.
A... large dining room table shares this open space, and the full kitchen makes eating in a treat. Whether you prepare chocolate chip pancakes in the morning or a roast chicken and root vegetables at night, you'll have all the appliances you need. And there'll be no fighting over whose turn it is to do the dishes, because the dishwasher can do the cleaning up while everyone retires to the living room for a board game.
Out on the deck, there's a hot tub for relaxing after a day on the slopes or afternoon out on the lake. No matter what you do, the deck is the perfect spot to breathe in that fresh, Sierra Nevada mountain air!
One of the bedrooms is located on the main floor and has a king sized bed, a cozy sitting chair and an en suite bathroom. Since this is the only bedroom up here, it's a great choice for anyone in your group that would like a bit more privacy.
Downstairs you'll find three other bedrooms with a combination of four full beds and six twins - all with warm, soft bedding and pleasing room accents. A game room features a foosball table, pool table, and other games for hours of entertainment. A piano sits against the wall for sing-alongs (or just practicing Chopsticks). In addition to the full bathroom in the king bedroom, there are two additional bathrooms throughout the space.
This prime location is right off highway 267 and near a lot of area attractions like the Old Brockway Golf Course, the Tahoe Rim Trail for a day of hiking through the trees, and the many restaurants in both Tahoe Vista and Kings Beach. On nights you don't feel like making dinner, stop by Las Panchitas for a plate of fajitas or the Old Range Steakhouse for huge steaks of Midwestern, heavy-aged beef.
After a quick drive to the shore, you'll be at Kings Beach State Park for some downtime relaxing on the sand by the water's edge. From here you can also go boating or water skiing on Lake Tahoe or even take a sightseeing cruise around the lake.
Not just for summer, in winter you'll want to bring your skis because Northstar California Resort is less than a 15 minute drive from your front door! The whole group can downhill ski, snowboard, cross-country ski, ice skate, or go winter tubing - there's something for everyone. From late February to early March, join the revelry during north Lake Tahoe's winter carnival, SnowFest. And year-round, Nevada's casinos are just a short car ride east for gaming, shows, or a nice dinner out.
Lake Tahoe is an amazing destination no matter the weather! And at this amenity-packed vacation home, when you're not out fishing or snowshoeing, you'll be able to spend your time soaking in the hot tub, playing of pool in the gameroom, or just hanging out with your friends and family in front of the fire.
