This was definitely a rustic cabin. Four small bedrooms upstairs with one tiny bath for all. Frying pans and pots need to be replaced and we had no washcloths. The light on the stairway was very dim, and stairwell steep. The view and setting were great, but would not stay there again.

Thank you for the information about the cookware and wash clothes; next time please let us know about any deficiencies during your stay so we can remedy them immediately because we'd like you to be completely satisfied. The stairway bulb is a cfl so it does take a moment to reach full brightness. Please note that there are two full bathrooms at this home, one on each floor.

This was one of the best cabins I have rented with my family. The space is perfect; kid-friendly, well stocked, and completely usable. There are beautiful views of the lake from the big back windows. The lot runs down the hill with direct lake access and a wonderful outdoor fire pit for the kids to roast marshmallows. Inside, you feel like you are borrowing a cabin from a good friend - it is completely stocked and the owners share everything with you. It feels much more personable than the usual rental cabin. The beds are very comfortable and everything supplied was top notch. Just a few small details keeping from being a 5 star. many of the light bulbs were burnt out including the stair light which made our nighttime arrival challenging - had to scrounge to get the lighting we needed - and the downstairs DVD doesn't work which makes it difficult to get some adult time from the kids. Check-in/out was hassle free.

There was no snow but we had a nice quiet and relaxing vacation on the water. New Year's Eve with 8 of us...thansk for the cozy cabin with a terrific view and fire pit on the lake...

We chose The Fraser cabin for a getaway from the city. The kitchen is excellent - if food is a big part of your vacation plans, you would be well served here. The driveway is regularly plowed but watch out for thick ice!

The cabin more than exceeded our expectations. It was private, casual, clean and had everything that we needed. There were plenty of beds, which were very comfortable. And the kids loved all the games, toys and the TV/DVD player in one of the rooms. It was right on the water with beautiful views of the lake. We had a fabulous time and would definitely stay there again!
