well built high quality home. comfortable, quality linens, kitchen, etc.
great hot tub. grill. plenty of and fair-good quality cooking utensils, dishes, pots pans.
house approach does not look like the pic though so don't expect all that space. it's actually on a street pretty tightly lined with homes and you see the neighbors from the back decks (which are nice, two of them)
located on quiet west shore by homewood mountain. for us was great cause we hiked north lake and south lake, both a 30-45 min drive. and emerald bay hiking is 15 mins south.
would definitely stay again. we're quite picky too.
service from Tahoe Getaways was great, made it so easy. am definitely going with them again : )

We rented this property for Memorial day weekend and we were pleasantly surprised. The house is large, comfortable, and in walking distance to a grocery store with great sandwiches! The kitchen is perfect for cooking large meals and the living room was super cozy. We were three families so the only drawback was that the master bedroom is way bigger than the other two downstairs so two families were a bit uncomfortable. The house was also near beautiful state parks and Tahoe City.

Interior of home well done & probably nicer than pictures suggest. Home is on narrow lot but one lot
on one side is vacant which is nice. The lake is an easy 10 minute walk away as is local pizza joint which has good pizza. And some very nice restaurants within close driving distance without having to go into Tahoe City.
Overall a very comfortable place to stay (& very well equipped kitchen). -

Loved the house. Nice, open, clean, new. Although it was a snow storm, I would have expected the driveway to have been cleared sooner. If we had a medical emergency, it would have been impossible to get out of the house. That was concerning and although we loved the house, we thought this was inappropriate. The bed mattress in the downstairs bedroom needs to be replaced. Not super comfy, but overall a comfortable, clean home.

Thanks for leaving a review about West Shore Bliss. However, I am disappointed you felt that the plow service did not come often enough. During MAJOR winter storms, especially during holiday weeks, the local plow drivers are doing their VERY best to get though their route as quickly as possible.

Yes, the Tahoe Bliss lived up to its rating. The master suite was beautiful! Only problem was that the oven did not hold its temperature...thus our Thanksgiving turkey was not done on time...ugh! Hopefully if we rent this home again..that will have been fixed.

West Shore Bliss was fantastic. Even better than I imagined from the pictures and the reviews. Everything was so clean and the entire house was well stocked. I honestly can't think of anything that could have been better than maybe our vacation should have been longer than just one week! We'll definitely be staying at West Shore Bliss the next time we come to Tahoe.

We just enjoyed a few days in this gorgeous Tahoma home. The design and
decor of the home were ideal and extremely comfortable for our family. The
hot tub was perfect, and we even had a coyote sighting from the tub on our
last day. I wish we could have stayed at West Shore Bliss and enjoyed this great
home longer! -

Wow!!!
We were Thoroughly impressed with this Property.
Our Family came up here to Ski Homewood for a few days so we Spent Thursday through Monday at the Bliss house. After 4 days, nobody wanted to Leave.
The Photos online don't do this place justice. You have to see it, it is FABULOUS!!!
Everything in the house is almost brand new and high Quality. From the Large Flat Screen TV's in all the rooms, to the 3 Dozen Matching Wine glasses in the kitchen, to the High Thread count Bedding... This house has it all. It is beautifully Decorated inside. The covered Gazebo over the Hot Tub provided terrific shelter when it was snowing. We were in Heaven.
I would highly recommend the house to anyone.

We loved this house. It was bright, clean, great kitchen, good living space, good dining space, great bathrooms, plenty of room for everyone. It was such a treat to be in a really nice house, and not a dark, 70's-ish ski house. We were two families with 2 small kids each, so one family stayed downstairs and the other family slept in the masterbedroom with one child in a pack 'n play and the other on a mattress on the floor. The master is HUGE so everyone had enough space. Great hot tub, and plenty of room outside for making snowmen etc. 4 minutes from Homewood where we skiied the first day, and a longer drive to Squaw, but not prohibitively so.

We had a great visit to West Shore Bliss. Many thanks go to the staff at Tahoe Getaways, for recommending this property after the one we originally inquired on was unavailable. Beautiful appliances, and amenities like a wine cooler, large hot tub, and multiple flat screen tv's. Excellent for two couple and a few kids... or a single guy/girl.

Tahoe Getaways provided excellent service. They were easy to work with and the procedures for renting the house were simple. I felt their personal description of the house truly matched what the house was really like.
This home is amazing! The decor is homey and comfortable. It had just received a deep cleaning which was wonderful. The kitchen is fantastic and was well stocked with cooking utensils. We made Thanksgiving dinner there and we found every utensil we needed to do so in the kitchen.
The location is a bit remote, but we enjoyed that aspect of it. There is a pizza place and a small general store within walking distance.
I would definitely stay here again. -

I would say it was the best vacation I have ever had in tahoe. THe home itself was beautiful. The furniture was beautiful, and the layout was nice. You really feel its a home away from home. The hot tub was a big plus and the fact that it was right off the back deck and you dont have to walk through a bunch of snow was good. The master bathroom was my favorite place in the house. Enjoying a relaxing bubble bath after a long day out in the snow was my daily remedy. To be totally honest I didn't want to leave!

We stayed in the house with our 2 year old triplets and both sets of
grandparents. The house was perfect for the celebration of their 2nd birthday!
The master bedroom was very large and accommodated very easily all three
portable cribs.
I can not recommend this house enough. We will stay here again for our next
Tahoe vacation. We can not wait to get the kids on skis!
