This home is not just a rental - it is a home that the owners are willing to share with our guests.
The entry level offers a spacious open living/dining/kitchen area complete with granite countertops and an extremely well stocked kitchen that will make cooking a pleasure or perhaps you would enjoy just curling and reading by the fireplace (sounds good to me!). Also on the first level is a bedroom with a queen size bed, full bath with jetted tub and the large laundry room that lets you onto the large side deck with hot tub. Up the stairs you will find a spacious master bedroom with it's own balcony and pull-out sofa sleeper, a third bed...room with a double bed and two singles and a shared full bath (No Shower). The owner wants you to have a wonderful vacation even if you never leave the house by offering full cable including Showtime & HBO plus DVD's, plush towels, cozy linens and of course the stress and ache relieving hot tub... ahhhh. Obviously, the owner takes pride in every corner of every room - and it shows! This is one of our favorite homes......
A Wonderful Week!We really enjoyed our stay at 310 Lazy Bear Lodge. Relying only on pictures on the internet we really did not know what to expect. Upon arriving, we decided the pictures did not do the cabin justice. The house was spacious, clean, and modern. The kitchen was well stocked with staples and paper goods. We were five adults, Though there are two bathrooms, there is only one shower. This could be a little inconvenient if you had a larger number in your party.
Additional amenities include: suitable for children, laundry, watersports, vacation, golf nearby, fishing, skiing, on-line book.Read more

NO Oven, Stove did not work, Owners never responded to our email
Left on 07/14/2014 for a stay in July 2014 | A TripAdvisor Member
OVEN DOES NOT WORK, NO INTERNET, ONLY ONE SHOWER, ONLY 1/2 of the stove worked. Outlet in Bathroom did not work.
The cabin is decent. HOWEVER, the oven did not work along with a number of other items.
We brought up a number of prepared meals to cook in the oven. We own rental property ourselves and knew if the owners had to call a repairman over a busy holiday weekend that it would be double the rate to get it repaired. As thoughtful renters we paid the extra costs to eat out. OUR BAD!! We should have called immediately and required them to repair the oven. Especially, when we paid $300 a night.
Upon departure we sent a note to the rental agency telling them about the problem. They forwarded it to the owners. NO RESPONSE. You would think they would at least apologize for the hassle that this caused us. NO RESPONSE.
I guess we learned our lesson - Next time I pay top rental rate during a holiday weekend I will call the agency to insist they secure a repairman at top dollar to fix a major appliance immediately. So since I am disturb that we have not heard from the owners after 2 weeks and I paid $1500 for 4 days at this place I will mention the other problems with the cabin.
Their welcome book - IN CAPS - TELL YOU WHAT YOU ARE NOT TO DO....NO SHOES, DONT DRAG YOUR LUGGAGE ACROSS THE FLOOR, ETC.. Who has a rental and you are not allowed to wear shoes!!! As good renters we took them off but come on really !!
In addition, to the oven not working, two of the burners on the stove did not work. The 2 TV's in the bedrooms did not work. The outlet in the bathroom did not work. THEY DO NOT HAVE INTERNET or cell reception in the cabin. So you have to get in your call and drive down the street to send a text or take a phone call on your cell.
We had to call the rental agency to find out where their advertised BBQ was. You have to pull out the BBQ and patio furniture that is stored in the remote garage to sit outside...major pain so we sat on the bare deck.
I would not normally write a review like this but they could have at least responded and/or provided us with a credit on the rate...

This place was great! Had absolutely everything we needed and more. Beautiful, great location, super easy transaction. Pics dont do the house justice. Siting in the hot tub, drinking coffee surrounded by a winter wonderland was definitely my highlight. Very affordable, and would definitely recommend.

To beging with, the system they use to rent their cabins makes the experiance much easier than other companies. Second, the canin was in great condition, everything was so clean an well organized, even better than the way it looked on the picture. I was very satisfied with the service and the cabin, if i ever go to tahoe again, I will definately use this company again.
Awesome and comfortable

This was our first time staying in Lake Tahoe and we were very pleased with the location. We loved the tall pine trees surrounding the cabin and how it felt like we were in the mountains. The cabin was easy to find and close to the things we wanted to do. There were 7 of us, my husband and I and 5 adult and teenage kids and the cabin was ample space for us. Our kids loved the hot tub. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking. The cabin is well taken care of and feels fairly new. I agree with other reviews that it felt bigger inside than the pictures suggest. (The Lake water is cold in July) We tried to reserve this very last minute and on the weekend for the following week and so it took a while before we heard back from the booking agency. But once we did, the rest went very smooth. It felt very homey.

great house for relaxation with friends

It was easy to set up the rental and the house was perfect for what we needed. Hot tub was a necessary bonus and firewood provided a nice surprise. I liked the big open kitchen and living room. You need to provide more toilet paper or let us know to bring more and oil the squeaky doors, but other than that it was great. Also 2 functional showers would have been better but at least there were 2 bathrooms.

I stayed 4 nights at this wonderful cabin over New Years with 9 other friends. We spent the weekend cooking wonderful meals in the large and well-equipped kitchen and playing games in the living room by the fire place. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day of skiing. Everything was set up perfectly for us and I wouldn't have asked for a better place! We are trying to book the same place in a few more months for a shorter weekend trip!

Great Cozy House, but no snow removal
Left on 03/24/2011 for a stay in March 2011 | Cozy Bear
We enjoyed 3 nights at the beautiful house with hot tub. As yearly renters in the winter for 40 years, we expected to be able to get in the garage and the house without shoveling snow. Garage was not opening, no one came to help, so cars were in the driveway, so driveway was not plowed. We called six times, someone came the night before we were to leave. Meanwhile we had no snow shovel (it was in the garage). Also we missed having internet access. The house is great. Read more
The home was never advertised as having internet or a garage. The home was shoveled and plowed just prior to your arrival. The snow plow service comes to the house as often as they can - they might have been hampered by the HUGE amounts of snow that was fell during your visit - but everyone was pretty well impacted by feet of snow falling during this epic wnter. We returned each and every phone call and explained that there had never been internet and that the garage was not part of the rental. We also sent out snow shovelers to help. We are sorry that this stay did not meet your expectations.

Nice Place to Stay
Left on 03/24/2011 for a stay in February 2011 | Nice Plance
We were there on a particularly snowy weekend. The house and the hot tub were great.
However, there was no snow shovel, there was no way to get to the garage to see if there was a shovel. The walkway to the front door was almost impassable. I would think that the prop mgr would have at least shoveled enough to allow us to get in easily. We had to go and purchase our own shovel to get into the house, and the hot tub. There was absolutely no access to the garage. Therefore when the plow would come to do the drive way they would just push the snow against our car and then we would have to dig it out. Useless!!!. There could be better planning on the part of the management company.
The house was good place for the value. We would rent this house again.

beautiful, cozy cabin

What a wonderful cabin! It was very spacious and comfortable, and quite a
good bargain for the money.
It was obvious that the owners took the time to make sure that everything was
set up to make the renters' stay as wonderful as possible, from having lots of
towels to a well-stocked kitchen. We had a fantastic time and will definitely
rent this cabin again sometime!
My only complaint would be that my husband accidentally left his
snowboarding boots in the closet and when he called to ask for them, they
told him that they couldn't find them. Since he's absolutely sure he left them
there and called the same day we left, either no one bothered to look for them
or housekeeping stole them.

I just wished the driveway door was cleared and free of ice.

A very clean, up to date place with lots of towels, good beds, a fireplace and a hot tub we could use. The appliances were up to date, kitchen requirements thoroughly met. (There were no recycling bags, however; we packed some of ours out). Our group ranged in age from over 70 to under 2, and we all had a good time. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go from this spot; it would be nice in the summer, too, so close to the edge of the lake. If we're lucky enough to repeat our family get-together we would be happy to rent it again. (THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE ANSWERED THIS REQUEST; I HOPE IT IS THE LAST FOR THIS EVENT.) Read more
So glad your whole family enjoyed themselves! This home is wonderful during the summer months also - the lake is close and the deck is fantastic for BBQ's - someone can cook and the "children" can have fun playing in the yard. Hope to see you back again -

We loved the home. Our service was outstanding. The home was lovely and comfortable. The location and ammentities was excellent.
What we liked the best was the sensational trees that surrounded us. It gave us a feeling of relaxation and peacefulness. There wasn't anything we disliked about the stay. There are some suggestions I have regarding the fireplace, ....the insert was not working properly and the BBQ didn't work properly...But, as I mentioned we had a great time and I would stay on this proerty again and use Coldwell Banker for more choices. Thank you, Nancy Read more
Hi Nancy - Wish you would have called us re the BBQ-We could have had it fixed. But it seems you had a GREAT time in any case. So glad you could relax and unwind-exactly what a vacation in Tahoe is all about! Debbie and Ashley
modern, comfy, lux cabin

This cabin is beautiful. The floors are a art! Each room has benefits. The master upstairs is huge and has a balcony and space for an entire exercise class of 15! The kitchen is modernized and has gorgeous counters. The property was very private and we enjoyed the hot tub on the large deck. We used nearby trails and beaches and loved the West Tahoe location.
