Description from the manager
This home is not just a rental - it is a home that the owners are willing to share with our guests.
The entry level offers a spacious open living/dining/kitchen area complete with granite countertops and an extremely well stocked kitchen that will make cooking a pleasure or perhaps you would enjoy just curling and reading by the fireplace (sounds good to me!). Also on the first level is a bedroom with a queen size bed, full bath with jetted tub and the large laundry room that lets you onto the large side deck with hot tub. Up the stairs you will find a spacious master bedroom with it's own balcony, a third bedroom with a double bed and...Read more

This place was great! Had absolutely everything we needed and more. Beautiful, great location, super easy transaction. Pics dont do the house justice. Siting in the hot tub, drinking coffee surrounded by a winter wonderland was definitely my highlight. Very affordable, and would definitely recommend.

To beging with, the system they use to rent their cabins makes the experiance much easier than other companies. Second, the canin was in great condition, everything was so clean an well organized, even better than the way it looked on the picture. I was very satisfied with the service and the cabin, if i ever go to tahoe again, I will definately use this company again.

This was our first time staying in Lake Tahoe and we were very pleased with the location. We loved the tall pine trees surrounding the cabin and how it felt like we were in the mountains. The cabin was easy to find and close to the things we wanted to do. There were 7 of us, my husband and I and 5 adult and teenage kids and the cabin was ample space for us. Our kids loved the hot tub. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking. The cabin is well taken care of and feels fairly new. I agree with other reviews that it felt bigger inside than the pictures suggest. (The Lake water is cold in July) We tried to reserve this very last minute and on the weekend for the following week and so it took a while before we heard back from the booking agency. But once we did, the rest went very smooth. It felt very homey.

Our family was having a huge reunion in Tahoe and we rented this house for three days. I had sisters coming in from arizona and Idaho. We live in the Bay area and rent places often, and this is the first time I have written to say what a disappointment this place is. The kitchen is cute and the living room was comfy, but it went downhill from there. The table outside was covered with dirt I had to scrub off and the deck had not been cleaned in awhile - dirt was tracked in from bare feet it you went out there so I was always cleaning the floor. There is one shower and it is downstairs (while two of the bedrooms are upstairs) - really? There were only two wine glasses in the house, much of the plates/serving were plastic, the TV in one of the bedrooms was not hooked to the Cable, beds are really soft, no real decor in the bedrooms - sparse like college (TV sitting on a crate). Shame on me for not checking that there was Wifi (it is just standard these days), and phone coverage was terrible. My sister had to work while she was here and it was a real problem for her. A small detail but annoying, is there are signs everywhere and in the "welcome" book there is a long list of what you can and can't do. That is fine, but they are written in a way that does not make you feel welcome in this house at all - it is like you are a child being scolded but haven't done anything yet (we are early 50s). The worst part is after the property managers took their cut, etc. we paid 400 a night for this place. My brother up the street had a 5 bedroom palatial cabin at the top of the hill that was gorgeous (with Wifi and wine glasses) for 450 but that was good value. I sincerely recommend you look elsewhere.

Manager
It's very difficult to respond to someone who was so obviously miserable - but did not call until they left.... The guest arrived during our "pollen season" -anyone who has come during this time can understand that you can sweep and hose a deck and the pollen is back in 5 minutes. Thank Mother Nature for this. We state the configuration of the bathrooms in the description. There are ceramic AND plastic dishes/serving pieces in the house. Most people use the plastic when they eat outside. You are correct - I counted 2 wine glasses - sorry for that. I do not believe we have had a complaint or comment on the decor in the 7 years I have been managing this home. I have not personally slept on the beds - but again we have not had any complaints. Yes - shame on you for not asking about amenities that were/are important to you. Internet is not standard in Tahoecell phones can be pretty useless in the Tahoe area because we are surrounded by mountains. We have absolutely no control over the reception. The notes the owner left around the house are meant to be helpful as is the house book, other folks have found them useful. The "guest" has absolutely NO IDEA what my "cut" was/is as a property manager, or if I even get one. Your total for the 3 nights was $1180.00. This included the rent, departure clean and taxes. If you take $1180.00 and divide that by 3 your nightly rate was $393.33. That entire statement is absurd. Please read the other reviews by other guests and consider the source of this review before ruling this ver popular and comfortable home a chance.

Grover Beach, CAgreat house for relaxation with friends
Left on 03/01/2012 for a stay in February 2012
It was easy to set up the rental and the house was perfect for what we needed. Hot tub was a necessary bonus and firewood provided a nice surprise. I liked the big open kitchen and living room. You need to provide more toilet paper or let us know to bring more and oil the squeaky doors, but other than that it was great. Also 2 functional showers would have been better but at least there were 2 bathrooms.

I stayed 4 nights at this wonderful cabin over New Years with 9 other friends. We spent the weekend cooking wonderful meals in the large and well-equipped kitchen and playing games in the living room by the fire place. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day of skiing. Everything was set up perfectly for us and I wouldn't have asked for a better place! We are trying to book the same place in a few more months for a shorter weekend trip!

Great location, a very nice little house that is clean, beautifully maintained and cared for, and is stocked with the necessities (linens, towels, laundry, firewood and some limited kitchen staples) that you would need for a great weekend getaway or family vacation! Enjoyed it very much!

BerkeleyGreat Cozy House, but no snow removal
Left on 03/24/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We enjoyed 3 nights at the beautiful house with hot tub. As yearly renters in the winter for 40 years, we expected to be able to get in the garage and the house without shoveling snow. Garage was not opening, no one came to help, so cars were in the driveway, so driveway was not plowed. We called six times, someone came the night before we were to leave. Meanwhile we had no snow shovel (it was in the garage). Also we missed having internet access. The house is great.

The home was never advertised as having internet or a garage. The home was shoveled and plowed just prior to your arrival. The snow plow service comes to the house as often as they can - they might have been hampered by the HUGE amounts of snow that was fell during your visit - but everyone was pretty well impacted by feet of snow falling during this epic wnter. We returned each and every phone call and explained that there had never been internet and that the garage was not part of the rental. We also sent out snow shovelers to help. We are sorry that this stay did not meet your expectations.

Left on 03/24/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We were there on a particularly snowy weekend. The house and the hot tub were great.
However, there was no snow shovel, there was no way to get to the garage to see if there was a shovel. The walkway to the front door was almost impassable. I would think that the prop mgr would have at least shoveled enough to allow us to get in easily. We had to go and purchase our own shovel to get into the house, and the hot tub. There was absolutely no access to the garage. Therefore when the plow would come to do the drive way they would just push the snow against our car and then we would have to dig it out. Useless!!!. There could be better planning on the part of the management company.
The house was good place for the value. We would rent this house again. -

We really enjoyed our stay at 310 Lazy Bear Lodge. Relying only on pictures on the internet we really did not know what to expect. Upon arriving, we decided the pictures did not do the cabin justice.
The house was spacious, clean, and modern. The kitchen was well stocked with staples and paper goods.
We were five adults, Though there are two bathrooms, there is only one shower. This could be a little inconvenient if you had a larger number in your party.

Daly City, CAbeautiful, cozy cabin
Left on 03/11/2010 for a stay in February 2010
What a wonderful cabin! It was very spacious and comfortable, and quite a
good bargain for the money.
It was obvious that the owners took the time to make sure that everything was
set up to make the renters' stay as wonderful as possible, from having lots of
towels to a well-stocked kitchen. We had a fantastic time and will definitely
rent this cabin again sometime!
My only complaint would be that my husband accidentally left his
snowboarding boots in the closet and when he called to ask for them, they
told him that they couldn't find them. Since he's absolutely sure he left them
there and called the same day we left, either no one bothered to look for them
or housekeeping stole them. -

Left on 01/18/2010 for a stay in December 2009
A very clean, up to date place with lots of towels, good beds, a fireplace and a hot tub we could use. The appliances were up to date, kitchen requirements thoroughly met. (There were no recycling bags, however; we packed some of ours out). Our group ranged in age from over 70 to under 2, and we all had a good time. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go from this spot; it would be nice in the summer, too, so close to the edge of the lake. If we're lucky enough to repeat our family get-together we would be happy to rent it again. (THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE ANSWERED THIS REQUEST; I HOPE IT IS THE LAST FOR THIS EVENT.)

So glad your whole family enjoyed themselves! This home is wonderful during the summer months also - the lake is close and the deck is fantastic for BBQ's - someone can cook and the "children" can have fun playing in the yard. Hope to see you back again -

We loved the home. Our service was outstanding. The home was lovely and comfortable. The location and ammentities was excellent.
What we liked the best was the sensational trees that surrounded us. It gave us a feeling of relaxation and peacefulness. There wasn't anything we disliked about the stay. There are some suggestions I have regarding the fireplace, ....the insert was not working properly and the BBQ didn't work properly...But, as I mentioned we had a great time and I would stay on this proerty again and use Coldwell Banker for more choices. This cabin is beautiful. The floors are a art! Each room has benefits. The master upstairs is huge and has a balcony and space for an entire exercise class of 15! The kitchen is modernized and has gorgeous counters. The property was very private and we enjoyed the hot tub on the large deck. We used nearby trails and beaches and loved the West Tahoe location.
