New York City, New YorkTerrific modern-style apartment in convenient location
Left on 11/27/2012 for a stay in November 2012
Stayed here recently with my wife and baby, as well as my father-in-law and wife's sister/boyfriend. We all were very impressed with the apartment. The decor and furniture all fit our taste, and everything was clean and kept up well. The apartment is definitely cozy, but it makes great use of a small space. Also, having a balcony that has a great view, plus an interior window in the living room that connects to the outside view, helps make the apartment feel bigger. (I wish I could hire the architect/contractor to do work in the us!)
Again, the apartment's decor is the biggest plus in my mind. Not only did everything look nice, but you could tell that the owner used high-quality materials. My one complaint about the apartment itself is that the washer/dryer combo really didn't work well. First, it's tiny, and despite setting 60 minutes for the dry cycle, our clothes still ended up damp. Conveniently, there's a 24 hour laundromat across the street, so we ended up using that several times during our stay. Everything else though -- showers, water pressure, toilets, bedding, TV channel selection, etc. -- was great.
Location-wise, it's a short walk to the MRT station (Technology Building). You can also walk, if it's not too hot, to Zhongxiao Fuxing area (~20-25 minutes) and if you're really up for it, I suppose it's a doable walk to get to the Xinyi area/Taipei 101. However, we didn't bother with that too much, since the MRT was pretty close, and cabs were aplenty on this street. On the other side of the block, it's a short walk to western banks like Hsbc (which is where I have my account). I also saw a Citibank branch nearby.
For our next visit, we'd definitely consider staying here again. I think the ideal number for this apartment is probably 3-4 people, but it was great to have everyone in one spot for this trip. -

HKCosy, modern and well equipped apartment that kids must love!
Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My kids of 7 and 9 years old found the apartment amusing! There is well equipped kitchen for them to practice cooking. A stairway to upper giant bed! Dvd player and giant TV with plenty TV channels.
I like the huge bathtub with wide view windows! The sunlight from belcony and super unblocked view was the same as from the posted photos! That have me great sense of serenity!
Every details in here is thoughtful like the handy vacuum machine and fruit juice blender! They turned out to be very entertaining for our kids!! We even held a kids party here making food and fruit juice!
The washing machine was great and every grocery stuff was well supplied! A home away from home!
I also enjoy the taxi arrangement made by Lisa. It was the market price! Very convenient! -

Los AngelesBelated review! Great place to stay in TPE!
Left on 06/06/2012 for a stay in May 2012
This is actually our second time staying here. It was for a 2-bedroom loft. Has everything we need. To be honest, we got tired staying at hotels. I mean, we love the perks that a hotel can offer. But really...who needs the room to be tidied up everyday? And the fancy doorman who opens the door for you etc. For half the price and more, get this vacation rental. Live like a local.
Process is easy. Send NT$10k via Paypal to secure booking. Pay the entire amount in advance to Lisa or Daniel on check in day. Then on the day of check out, you get your $10k back.
Lisa and Daniel were amazing. They handled the airport transfers as well. Nt$1200 flat rate one way.
If you any questions or issues, just email/call Lisa. She is always ready to help you out.
We love this apartment on Siwei road. Has 24hr security. It's extremely convenient. On that same street, there are food/drink stalls, opticians, pharmacies, banks, traditional market and supermarket, hardware store, grocery stores and two 7 elevens! Close to MRT and bus stops.
We will be back!
Couple of tips.
1. If you need a 3G SIM card, get it from Far Eastern which is about 10mins walk away. Bring your passport and a supporting id card (eg driver's lic).
2. Banks are closed on Sat. So make sure you change your currency on weekdays. Go to a bank for a better rate. There are several banks near this place. Airport currency changers usually charge a fee with a less than ideal rate. Change just enough at the airport for the rental. -

Left on 04/24/2012 for a stay in April 2012
I stayed here with 4 other guys for a stag (no rowdy parties here though). The suite is conveniently located to MRT, grocery store and tons of places to eat. The design is quite contemporary, with ample space for the master room but tighter for the other two beds. The couch would fit about 4 of us while we watched tv. The place is quite clean also. If you are looking to do some home cooking, there isn't the most elaborate setup, but you would be able cook something simple. The in suite washing machine was a bonus too particularly if you are staying for a longer time.
In terms of check in, Vincent and Lisa made the process quite pain free. I was also very impressed with lisa's prompt responses whenever we had questions (via email); she was quite helpful. Will definitely consider her properties next time i'm back, though if there's only one or two of you, probably stick with a smaller suite. -

Left on 04/16/2012 for a stay in April 2012
Wonderful apartment, recently renovated. Overall cleanliness is good. Location is a little obscure for taxi drivers to find, as it is located in a smaller street called Siwei Street. Plenty of food and convenience stores right downstairs. Because of the height of the building compared to the surrounding ones, I enjoyed an unblocked view of the city and its rooftops from my balcony. Comes equipped with all household related appliances such as vacuum cleaner, fridge, hair dryer, washing machine and even a dehumidifier.

Left on 03/04/2012 for a stay in February 2012
It was our 1st time to Taiwan & we are so glad that we chose to stay at one of Lisa's spot, which was amazingly done up, clean, comfortable & all necessities provided were practical, functional and useful - to make our stay a wonderful one. The place is conveniently located to many food yummy local food outlets & convenient stores. Mrt was within walking distance, while taxis were easily available. The security/concierge were good & attentive while the surrounding area was safe. It was amazing to experience the old and new parts of Taiwan as the apartment was superbly located. We had view of taipei 101 as well. People of Taiwan were just friendly. Lisa and Vincent were great and helpful in providing info on travel arrangements and tourist spots we wanted to visit. They also provided a fantastic list of food outlets nearby the apartment which we went to check out. It was yummy-licious! We had no issues taking our stroller out and about, walking to the MRT and using the MRT to Taipei zoo which were very considerate of the disabled and parents travelling with children. Taiwan has done a fantastic job in integrating botanical natural environment within its Taipei zoo which surprises us with its immense collection of animals, insects, etc. The kids had a blast and we had a great time at the night markets & travelling around north part of Taiwan. Definitely will be coming back to stay with Lisa and exploring more of Taiwan :) Kudos to Lisa for providing such excellent service and true hospitality. Cheers! See you soon again!

Dear Lisa,
Our most sincere gratitude for the pleasant apartment we lease from you this past Jan 4-14.
Your colleague Vincent was extremely helpful from the minute we met him at our arrival through our mini-emergency, when we left all three keys inside the apartment; and the apartment was in top shape, much better than expected; we have forwarded your contact to our friends and family and hope you'll get some business from them
Happy Year of the Dragon

The apartment was well equipped even for our family of 6, in a convenient location especially walking to the subway and Lisa was a fantastic resource - who offered regular contact on the go with all essential local information - from eateries, to places to buy stuff as well as a good foot massage parlor!
All in - very good value for money.

SingaporeA great place to stay in Taipei City
Left on 12/02/2011 for a stay in November 2011
All we can say is that if you want a place to stay that is strategically located to provide true rest and not right smack in busy, chaotic and bustling clichéd localities meant for tourists, the "Family Presidential Loft” is the place. All the amenities ranging from farmers market, cafes, convenience stores and even an organic produce outlet are located close within the neighborhood. And to add to these conveniences, the MRT is only a seven minute walk away to connect one to all top sight seeing venues/locations.
The apartment that we stayed-in while compact, was well designed to accommodate up to 4 to 5 people comfortably. My kids were totally awed by the sense of "spaciousness” and the feeling of being able to wonder "room” to "loft room” via a cool corridor staircase. The kitchen was well equipped with stove, microwave, toast, kettle and all necessary utensils. A home away from home feeling pervades the apartment.
Vincent did a great job in "orientation” to ensure one is quickly acquainted with the operations of the washer/dryer, stove and TV etc. Lisa was always at the hand via email to offer great suggestions to places of interests, directions and best way to get to locations.
The highest compliment we can pay for such an enjoyable stay is that my family looked forward to going back to the apartment at the end of each day to be totally Zen rested and refreshed for another day of sightseeing. Needless to say, we do hope to be back soon.

My sisters and I stayed at lisa's condo while we were visiting our father, the place was small but has everything we need. Vincent was super nice and very helpful. Walking distance to MRT and Sogo department store. The traditional market was just right around the corner, we shopped there for local foods and fresh fruits on a daily basis. We highly recommend this place and will book this place for our next trip to Taipei.

I stayed at Lisa's condo for 2 weeks in October of 2011. The building was new and in great condition, the location was great, and the service was fantastic. Lisa set up our pick up from the airport, and we were met at the apartment by someone to check us in. The condo is in excellent conditioin, and is located in a very nice area of Taipei. The apartment building has a doorman, and is the nicest apartment building on the block.
My stay went off without a hitch, and I received my full deposit back upon leaving the apartment. I would recommend the rental to friends, and thank Lisa for a great stay. -

As my first time in Taipei, Lisa definitely helped me out in a great way. Not only did she provide quick feedback, but she was able to help me with a few touristy questions.
The place was extremely clean and comfortable, with instructions for operating the Wifi and laundry equipment. The apartment can accommodate 3 people with ease, and had a modern/luxurious feel.
I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. The price is on the high end, but you get what you pay for. -

Although it was just a short stay of 5 nights, my Family really enjoyed it. We were so amazed by the interior decoration of this loft unit. Everything there is so new and clean and all of us got settled in so easily.
The surrounding area is quiet and safe at night. And you definitely have no problem looking for food around this area.
Lisa is very responsive to all our requests via emails. On checking in and out, Vincent is so informative and helpful. The security officers of the building are very friendly and helpful too.
In our next rip to Taiwan, we will still be getting recommendation of apartment from Lisa.
Big thanks to Lisa & Vincent!

This is probably the best stay my family and I have ever had staying in Taipei. It is an extremely comfortable accomodation with tasty decoration. The way they managed the space was amazing. The unit itself was not big but they have done the decoration so well that they managed to create three bedrooms with double size bed! Amazing. The location of the apartment is excellent. Thanks to Lisa and Vincent my family, friends and me had a wonderful stay in Taipei. I am half Taiwanese, so I was happy to live in an apartment and not in a Hotel, it just made me feel home even more. Lisa and Vincent are such friendly people, from the beginning they always were helpful, kept contact with us and tried to make it as comfortable for us as possible. We were highly statisfied with the apartment. There was enough place for five people to sleep, it was very clean, quiet and well appointed. I would definitely recommend this apartment to everyone who is looking for a modern, very comfortable and clean place to stay in Taipei.

This apartment exceeded all our expectations. It was in a perfect location for us--lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby on a relatively quiet street not far from main roads and the Shangri La. The apartment was newly renovted and furnished. The choice of funiture and the interior design reflected a very thoughtful (and tasteful) use of space. It can easily accomodate 4 adults or a family of 5. With a small fridge, microwave, stove top, two a/C units, high-speed Internet and cable TV, we could not have asked for more. Landlord was very responsive to our requests and easy to work with. Building staff was also very courteous. I would highly recommend.

What can I say except that the stay was simply wonderful. I'm a native from Taipei so this was like "going home" except I haven't been home to stay (except in hotels) since my teens. I brought with me 3 kids for 5 weeks and Lisa C. (landlord) made this trip very easy for us. The apartment is very accessible to the best part of Taipei. minutes from the Ren ai roundabout where the best breakfast, Paul (straight from Paris) is, and the best massage in the world at Sakura is also there (5 minute walk at night). When you go downstairs, there are restaurants and convenient stores whichever way you turn. Location is key in a city and this apartment has the best location in Taipei!! The loft style apartment was perfect for our family. The girls (9 & 12) stayed in the spacious loft, my son (5) stayed in the downstairs bedroom (full size bed) and my husband and I had our own "suite" with 2 bathrooms. It had wireless internet, and all the amenities you need. I would stay there again in a heart beat! Highly recommend it to anyone. Family or alone.
