The Ten Villas at Cercea del Mar are Playa Langosta's ultimate vacation rentals. These two and three bedroom villas have everything you would ever expect in a true luxury vacation rental. The Morroccan architecture and the attention to detail put these villas a step above any other properties in the Tamarindo area. Private pools, tropical landscaping, total security and privacy can be found at Villas Cerca del Mar.

All the villas at Cerca del Mar offer the amenities you would expect in a luxury rental. Hand-crafted floor and wall tiles, tropical hardwood doors and cabinetry, cast stone water fountains, ceiling fans, custom kitchens, vau...lted hardwood beamed ceilings and more. The beach at Playa Langosta is just across the road, only a moment away, with easy access from two locations. The entrance to each villa is secure and private with a doorbell located on the outside for guest use.

Upon entering a villa at Cerca del Mar, you will encounter a tropical garden or, perhaps, a water garden. No matter where you are in the villa, you will have a view of either an indoor or outdoor garden, which truly brings the tropics indoors. The Great Room is surrounded by both indoor and outdoor landscaped gardens and opens to the pool terrace. The custom-designed kitchen offers American-style appliances including a dishwasher, oven, cook center stove, refrigerator and garbage disposal. The outdoor dining area just off the kitchen is covered by pergola and has a ceiling fan and gas grill.

The Master Bedroom is also surrounded by landscaped gardens and offers a covered terrace for your enjoyment. The Master Bath has cast stone double sinks and opens to more tropical gardens. There is a built-in dressing area and access to the laundry facilities, a true convenience. Upstairs, you will find the Mirador-Bedroom Suite that gives you a view of the blue waters of the Pacific.

A full bath with an indoor garden and a wet bar make this room a great place for entertaining. The third bedroom also has a full bath and the shower opens to another interior garden. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and in most, air-conditioning.

The pool and patio areas in the Villas Cerca del Mar are completely landscaped and offer comfortable seating. The sound from the outdoor fountain relaxes the body and pleases the soul, as does the sound of the surf from the ocean. A vacation in your own private villa at Villas Cerca del Mar is as close to paradise as you can get.

  We had previously stayed at Playa Langosta at a B&B; and wanted something more private and economical for our stay this year. We found it in Villa Jazmin. The villa was immaculate, tastefully furnished, had a great private pool, comfortable beds, gourmet kitchen, fast internet, and good security. The beach is right across the street and we had dedicated parking for our rental car with a dedicated night watchman. We had a blast in Tamarindo and in the surrounding area taking scuba trips, fishing, and a couple in our group took surfing lessons which they absolutely loved. A group of Congo monkeys visited us almost every morning as well as lots of birds and iguanas. We had several great meals in town (highly recommend Carolina's) and we took advantage of the great local supermarket (Auto Mercado) to make our own great meals.

  Small supermarket , and internet access 50 yds away and taxis always up the street at an all inclusive resort, so easy to get a ride any time.

  Review of Villas Cerca Del Mar #3 - Jazmin

  The villa itself was very nice and maid and pool service was frequent and thorough. The proximity to the beach was very good as well. The negatives were: 1) the maid did not know how to use the washing machine and used WAY too much soap, which made subsequent washings of our own clothing soapy and impossible to get everything soap-free, 2) while the villa was 3+ miles or from the town of Villareal, an annual festival being held there had VERY loud music several nights in a row and could be heard in the second floor of the villa almost like having a night club in the same building (very difficult to sleep on those nights), 3) security in the backside is weak - my camera was stolen one night apparently by someone entering the villa by jumping the back wall and entering through the rear, 4) the safe inside the villa didn't work (corroded elements due to ocean's salty air?), so it was difficult to secure our belongings, 5) one of the managers (a male) was rather apathetic to all the concerns listed above, saying things like "yeah, these things happen here...," without offering much help. I must say the female manager (Tara) was quite good though.
