We traveled to Tamarindo, Costa Rica in august 2011. We stayed at the Sunrise condo Unit#39. The condo is right in downtown Tamarindo and very convenient to everything. The condo itself is very nice and quiet. The unit we stayed in was very nice; however, the 2 bedroom where my niece stayed in was not that great. There were 2 twin beds in that 2nd bedroom, but both of those beds were very hard and uncomfortable to sleep in. She ended up sleeping in the safabed in the living room. She's a teenager and 7 days of that was a bit too uncomfortable for her. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

We had a great experience overall. The accomodations were nice, location was great, and staff was helpful. The only criticism is that we had a really tough time checking in after 5 PM on a Saturday. It was hard to locate the night time office in Langosta and we had a member in our party that spoke fluent spanish. It took more than 2 hours and several phone calls to resolve the issue. Once checked in we had an awesome time. We'll definitely stay there again.

We were very pleased with our condo accommodations. Jose Barrantes from the shuttle company was awesome. When I arrived at the airport someone took my luggage by accident. Jose tracked it down for me and by early the next morning he had it sent to the condo. He's awesome! We loved our condo - although we had bees in our condo every night. There's a bee hive to the right side of our condo's balcony and its located underneath the 4th floor balcony of the condo building adjacent to our balcony. Our sliding doors were closed every day and night but yet the bees found their way into our condo. Other than that we had a great experience with our condo and would return in the future. I had a wonderful vacation experience with my family. The property is in excelent condition. It is very close to the beach and nearby locations. I highly recommend it.
