Dallas, TXVery Nice Facility, but condo needs some attention to basic repa
Left on 03/17/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We stayed in #7. Bob met us personally and was very nice. This is a very nice condo complex and the original finish out is very high end. The condo has nice furnishings and decor. But our particular condo had several things that needed repair. It seemed that as things have broken along the way, they have not been fixed. Any single one of these things is no big deal, but all taken together, they made the condo a little disappointing. Here are the things that were broken while we were there. If any of these are a deal breaker for you, then just check with Bob prior to coming that they have been repaired. Seal on toilet is broken in master. Toilet rocks and seems to emit a sewage smell. This smell was present during our entire stay. Ice maker broken. Tray in microwave doesn't turn, so food won't cook evenly. Dishwasher doesn't seem to get dishes clean. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen and they got in our food. Soap Dishes are broken off in both showers. There are no locks on bathroom and bedroom doors. Bob indicated that he removed them himself because people kept locking themselves out. If you are there with another family or just don't like being walked in on, then this might not be the condo for you. The washer and dryer are very old and the dryer was not working when we arrived. We reported it on the first day and someone came to fix it on the last day. Not sure if the repair worked since we had already hung our clothes out to dry. The sheets and towels had several stains on them. My pillow case was very stained and I was surprised someone would actually put it on. The beach club and pool are awesome and the view of the ocean is very, very nice. Also the preserve view from the balcony is fantastic. The road between the condo & town is partially dirt and there are no sidewalks, so we only tried that walk once. After that, we drove. All of Bob's restaurant recs were excellent. If the repairs were done, I would'nt hesitate to come back.

Windsor, CanadaExcellent Place to Stay
Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We stayed at this condo for 8 days with a 5 adults. From the very beginning we liked this place for its cleanliness and convenience. Everything we needed for our stay was made available to us. The kitchen is fully equipped and the appliances are all brand new and state-of-the-art. There is a well functioning a/C, which always kept our condo at a refreshing temperature regardless of how hot is was outside. In addition, there was a fan in every room and in both of the bathrooms. Having a washer and dryer was also great and I realized after we arrived that I could have packed much lighter. This complex is right across the street from an excellent beach club and a beautiful beach. It literally takes 1 minute to walk there. The Ibis also provided free WiFi, which was great. The supermarket and town is only a 10-15 minutes walk if you are not lazy, but security will call you a taxi if you need one. There are several restaurants in a walking distance, such as the Langosta Beach Club, Sangria and Kahiki, which were all excellent. The property manager, Bob, was also very nice and extremely helpful. He met us in person upon arrival, showed around the apartment and always made himself available if we had any questions or concerns. He also arranged all of our transportation and gave us many great suggestions. We highly recommend this place and company. We feel that renting a condo is a much better choice for the family than the hotel, because for the same amount of money or less, you actually get more room, privacy and comfort. Try it and you'll love it!

DallasThis is where you should stay in Tamarindo!!
Left on 05/19/2012 for a stay in March 2012
This was our third stay at the Ibis Condo's. We keep coming back to Ibis because this is the best place to stay in Tamarindo. The condos are beautiful inside and out and have everything you might need to feel right at home. The entire property staff are friendly and helpful, whether it's washing your car (bonus!) or ordering a pizza for you because you don't speak enough Spanish because you can't do it yourself- no request is denied. The location is just far enough from the town center to escape, but close enough to walk to meals and shop. Every visit we encountered monkeys in the trees outside our condo or in the trees and the beach club just across the street. Thank you Bob and Veronica for making Ibis our home away from home without ownership!!

AtlantaFantastic Trip, Great Stay!!
Left on 04/14/2011 for a stay in April 2011
We stayed in two locations while in Tamarindo. At the Diria for two days, we could not wait to get out. At ibis, we wanted to stay longer. The location made the stay quaint and seemed secluded. Just a short walk to the center of town (walking the beach was closer than walking the road) made everything accessible. The use of the Beach Club across the street was a definite plus. People actually came from their lodging to hang out at the Beach Club. Great Music on Friday nights.
Mr. Bob Wilson was the perfect host. He was attentive, accessible and over-delivered on his decription and eminities. We will definitely come back to Tamarindo (as we have been here before) and definitely stay at ibis. -

The place itself was really nice. The access to the beach club is a plus. However, the master bedroom is on the road side and it is very noisy with the traffic starting about 5:30am. Even though it is only a 10 minute walk to downtown Tamarindo, the walk gets old after awhile, especially if you want groceries. The property manager Bob was great!
