We spent 5 nights here over March Break. The condo itself is stunning, even better than the pictures. The people at Bluewater Properties were a pleasure to deal with. Their office was a short walk away and we used their help to book a couple of great tours.
It was perfect having our own condo while still being part of the Diria resort. We booked surfing lessons through the hotel which worked out very well.
We had a rental car. You don't really need one as there is plenty to do within walking distance, but it was nice to explore a bit and go to the bigger supermarket for supplies. We enjoyed all the meals we had out, but my family starts to miss home cooking while travelling. The condo had everything needed for when we prepared meals in.
It was also great to be able to do laundry since we travel light and had spent a couple of days before arriving at the condo doing adventure activities and hiking.

Blue Water Properties had a satellite office on location in Tamarindo, which made it extremely easy to pick up keys and get assistance if needed.
The condo was absolutely impeccable! It was well designed, extremely well appointed, with custom window treatments and beautiful furniture. We felt like we were in a luxury hotel.
The location was great. Everythng, including the beach was only steps away. We ate out every night, and never had to repeat the same restaurant within walking distance of our condo. We would definitely return. -

I own a vacation rental property and tend to expect a lot of the places I stay. This property is absolutely exceptional; the pictures do not do it justice. It would be considered a high end condo in the USa and was in the premier building in the Tamarindo. The condo has travertine floors, granite counters, valuated ceilings, nice furnishings, ceiling fans; large balcony with seating etc. All the little things were done right, a complete book about the condo and the town, very nice towels and linens, a well-appointed kitchen and the location is ideal. You get to use the hotel facility which is the only nice hotel on the beach in the entire town. There is also an incredible pool for the condos only which features a swim up bar etc. You can walk to everything you need; there is no need for a car. Do not even think of staying in another building.
