A group of friends (3 couples) stayed in the Diria 701 condo from Jan 23 till Feb 2. Becky and her staff (Mateo & Andrew) were wonderful in helping us find this condo and setting up several tours. 701 is the peak of luxury and is perfectly situated in the heart of Tamarindo. Easy access to the beach & local businesses is great for those who like to walk and explore with no need for a rental car. This was our first visit to Costa Rica and it did not disappoint. The weather was beautiful, albeit a bit hot for us. The ocean was wonderful and the perfect temperature. The pools offered nice change if you did not want to walk the 150 yards to the ocean. The use of the beachside part of the resort with its green grass was wonderful and also acted as a buffer from all the vendors since there is a small stone wall separating the resort area from the beach. Security is top notch and everyone was friendly and professional. We never felt uncomfortable and always felt very secure throughout the entire resort. The condo was very spacious and has absolutely amazing views, especially in the morning. We enjoyed spending time on the balconies during the early morning hours before the heat of the day. Sunsets, both from the condo and the beach were amazing, but the views at the beach were the best. We enjoyed many good meals and some fantastic tours. Blue Water Properties were very helpful in setting up some of the tours. Most notable was the turtle nesting tour at night where we were lucky enough to actually observe a pacific green turtle make its nest, lay its eggs, & cover them up. A truly moving experience for nature lovers like ourselves. The few problems we had while staying in 701 were quickly handled by the Blue Water staff. Only issue not resolved was the hot tub heater was broken and they are having difficulty finding parts. For us older folks this would have been a nice to have for those days when we were sore from so much walking. All in all a wonderful stay for all of us!

I wanted to note that the heater part was ordered and set to be installed tomorrow. Unfortunately that heater was made in the USA, and the part was shipped from there. This penthouse is situated in the center of Tamarindo and is a perfect location close to everything in town. It is located in the Diria Resort so we were able to have all the resort privileges, which was great. The views on both balconies are stunning, and provide a great place to watch the sunset. The unit is spacious and is great for large groups. Everything in the condo was perfect when we arrived, the maid service was good, and we had no problems during our stay. Would definitely recommend to other travelers going to the Tamarindo area. The location and the luxury of the condo make it definitely worth staying here.

An amazing, beautiful, two-floor spacious penthouse with breathtaking, million-dollar views. You have to see it to believe it. You can enjoy a nice dinner watching the beautiful Tamarindo sunset from both of the balconies. There is plenty of space to accodmate groups or large families. So don't miss out on this opportunity to live in a piece of true paradise!
