Description from the owner

Constructed of the highest quality materials in 2008, Casa Tiempo Celestial is a single family home located on the Point in Tamarindo Preserve. It is a couple of minutes from both Playa Tamarindo and Playa Langosta as the Point divides these two very distinct, yet wonderful, beaches. This is a gated and guarded master planned community designed by the Eco-friendly master planers from Hart-Howerton. The attention to detail in this home must be seen. All of the ceilings, cabinets, vanities, doors, window surrounds and most furniture are custom crafted from plantation grown teak.

      Perfect Get-Away

Left on 03/31/2013 for a stay in March 2013

We just returned from a wonderful week at Casa Tiempo Celestial. Our third time in Tamarindo, we were familiar with this particular location but had not yet stayed here. It was just what we expected; quiet but not remote. The villa has all the conveniences we are used to and the kitchen was perfect. We enjoyed the pool - perfect after a day at the Langosta Beach Club. The outside showers were great. Bob Wilson and his management team are very responsive when we reported a problem with the lights. We will gladly return to Casa Tiempo Celestial!

Wonderful Modern Condo with 5 star quality

Left on 12/03/2012 for a stay in November 2012

My wife and I rented this property over the 2012 Thanksgiving holiday and could not have been happier. We are by no means world travelers but have been around a bit. This specific property has everything you could hope for in an upper end hotel. Fully outfitted kitchen with high end appliances washer/dryer, A/C in each room with individual thermostats, WI/FI, Sound system, etc. The ground floor is simply amazing with roll-back doors that allows you to have a completely open space. Having the private pool (cleaned daily) was perfect for when you arrived home from the beach. Outdoor showers upstairs was a nice touch. The property itself is a short walk away from two beaches (one rocky and scenic, one sandy and perfect for lounging, surfing, swimming). There is actually a hill directly adjacent from the condo (on the property) that provides spectacular 360 view of the area as well as breathtaking sunsets (bring the champagne if you are a romantic). Included in the rental is membership to the Longosta Beach Club. This place has everything you could want. 5 star dinner menu with seriously romantic atmosphere, outstanding lunch options, a bar with beach-side service, and fitness options for those who feel the need. The bar staff was great and provided a great selection of local drinks (Try the frozen basil Mojito, trust me). Ask for Maggie and you'll be taken care of. You won't be hassled to buy anything. Last recommendation and this is important, if you don't have a car (which you don't really need) rent the bikes from Bob. One of the selling points of this property is it's fairly secluded feel. You are about a solid mile from town and although you could walk this easily, the bike ride makes life so much better. As an added plus, when the tide is out you can ride on the beach as a shortcut to town. The owner and operator of the Property, Bob Wilson is really the selling point here and is a literal one-stop-shop for all you needs. He took us grocery shopping on day 1, setup transport to-from the airport, and helped schedule our day trips to the Rainforest for zip lining, mud baths, hot springs, the fastest water slide (really a luge run), and horse-back riding. We tested his recommendations around town and everyone agreed that Bob knew the lay of the land. We had two small issues over our week stay (A/C ran hot in one room, keys to bike locks didn't match) and Bob had them resolved immediately. Rent this place and you won't be disappointed.

      great Christmas trip

Left on 05/24/2012 for a stay in December 2011

We had the most wonderful Christmas week ( 2011 ) at this property. The beautifully appointed home was more than spacious for 5 adults. The kitchen was well appointed, the grounds immaculate, and located in one of the best spots in Tamarindo. Beautiful sunsets and great beach access. The privileges at the Beach Club were a huge extra benefit. Located out of the hustle of town, but only a short walk on the beach away. Not needing a car is a huge plus in Costa Rica. The property manager was wonderful. Bob Wilson arranged day trips and transportation and even took us grocery shopping on our arrival. We would go back in a New York minute.

      Paradise

Left on 05/24/2012 for a stay in February 2012

We went to Tamarindo and stayed for my 50th Birthday, the accommodations exceed all of my expectations. The photos do not do the property justice. The villa had everything you would need and more, each villa has their own outside shower, the pool was great in the morning and late night dips, which also had an outside shower to rinse off the salt from the day at the beach. We cooked a couple of times and Bob was kind enough to take us food shopping our first day. We discovered many nice restaurants and the Beach club was perfect for our daily trips to the beach. We will be back!!!

Terrific house, great area, staff and Beach!

Left on 12/28/2011 for a stay in December 2011

My wife and I booked through Pura Vida Property Management, Bob Wilson, and stayed at the Tamarindo Preserve for 10 nights December 2011, after having spent 5 nights in la Fortuna. We loved it! These are private houses, and we stayed at Colibri 52-3, also known as Casa Del Sole. Its a new 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath beautiful home. New appliances, fully stocked kitchenware, private pool, teak ceilings, Italian Cast Stone floors, air conditioned, indoor/ out-door showers ( very nice ), BBQ grill, full house sound system ( try 99.5 on the fm dial! ) , TV with many english language programs, washer and dryer, everything we could have wanted. As in most places in Costa Rica, it has security personnel, and they even helped us take our luggage and groceries inside. The groundskeepers keep your pool clean, your yard swept and everyone was very nice. Wonderful home. The beach is very close by, and Langosta Beach had some of the best sunsets we have ever seen. We even brought along a watch so we would not miss a sunset on the beach. You also get access to the beach club in tamarindo, which is a better place to swim, since Langosta beach is rocky, but beautiful. What to do? Bob can recommend all the best restaurants, etc. and will even book your excursions for you if you want. Heres some of what we enjoyed: Early mornings on the beach just relaxing or shell hunting, a dip in the pool around 10am to cool off, lunch at one of the many restaurants or the beach club, day trips to Flamingo beach for Scuba Diving ( we saw humpback whales while out ), Body surfing, hanging out and lunch at Lolas - a must go), Bbqing on the grill after watching the sunset, more swims in the private pool, and if your lucky, catch a local rodeo at night. Bob arranged a rental car for us. A lot of roads in CR are not paved, but you wont notice the road from the house. Some people walk to Tamarindo, and while doable, I would just hire a taxi if I didnt have a car because it does get dusty on the road around Langosta. Tamarindo can get very busy and active with surfers and others, so its a great place nearby to spend some time and check out the local restaurants, beaches, and stores. There are a troop of monkeys that live in the woods behind the home, be sure to look for them on the way to the beach or you will walk right under them without even noticing them.

      Perfect Honeymoon

Left on 07/20/2011 for a stay in April 2011

We loved staying at the Casa Del Sole! My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Tamarindo and literally had the time of our lives. The house was perfect and had all the amenities that we needed to recover from our wedding – a spacious living room with a stereo system that let us hook up our iPod, doors opening to the garden, a private pool to cool down on lazy days or after spending the day in town or on the beach, a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for a romantic dinner, and a BBQ when you just want to "keep it simple". There is a supermarket down the street (half an hour walk or $4 for the taxi) and you can stock up on all the essentials you might need during your stay.

We had asked the property manager to stock our fridge before our arrival, and he literally delivered! He and his fiancée took extremely good care of us during our stay. We were greeted by flower petals and candles throughout the house, and they made our honeymoon unforgettable. They also provided advice and recommendations throughout our stay and helped us organize day trips and got us tickets for boat tours, etc. – it was almost like a personal concierge service.

There are two bedrooms upstairs, so there is enough space for any children or a second couple if you wanted to share the house with friends. Spacious bathrooms with outdoor showers add to the experience, and the included temporary membership in the Langosta Beach club allowed us to relax at the bar, just a short walk away from the house, and to enjoy the spectacular sunsets right on the beach. We enjoyed our time so much that we already decided to come back again later.
