Casa Colibri is located in "The Point" (Playa Langosta) and is part of the Tamarindo Preserve Development. Only a three minute walk through the development gets you to the gorgeous white sand beaches of Playa Langosta and Playa Tamarindo. Completed in 2009, Casa Colibri is a bright 2 bedroom, 2 and 1/2 bath, two story hillside villa with its own private plunge pool. It offers its' guests the finest finishes and furnishings in a private tropical setting. Located on the Point that divides the Tamarindo and Langosta Beaches. Our home is just a 7 minute walk on the beach or road to the Beach Club. Fly into Liberia International Airport at you will be here by shuttle or rental car in about 45 minutes.

This condo is great and beautifully located. It is a 10 minute walk from the center of Tamarindo and so it is quiet, but still close enough to everything. One thing that the pictures don't show, but that we thought was so cool was the indoor/outdoor shower. In each bathroom, there is a shower that is glassed in on the house side and is open air, but enclosed for privacy on the garden side. The condo is well equipped and has everything you need, including a grill and a small plunge pool. The real selling point of this place is the beach club membership. I traveled to Costa Rica with four friends and we went to the beach club all day, every day. That perk made our stay.

Great trip for the adventurous ones. Quiet walks to the beach, in to town for a variety of good restaurants, and accessibility to many very dependable tours touting the beauties of this wonderful country are big pluses.
The photos of the villa were true to life and the accommodations were very comfortable. The managers couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The month we were there flew by and we have already booked another month for next winter we love it so much. -

Well maintained and managed property. Gated, guarded and secure. A 10 min walk along the beach to the Langosta Beach Club, an excellent first class fitness and beach activity facility. Not recommended for tourists without a car if you are planning to buy groceries @ Auto Mercado (Safeway type supermarket) just north of Tam, (not walking distance with groceries). A taxi would be a good alternative. Beware that two homes are under (sporadic > 2 out of 8 days) construction adjacent to the property and some days it could get noisy. Didn't bother us much since we were @ the LB club most of the time. Also understand since these are well maintained homes the gardening, pool cleaning and property maintenance staff are around daily.
