Sans Souci Bed & Breakfast is a one room cottage located on a tea estate outside Coonoor, Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu It is serene, peaceful and very beautiful.
The accommodation is simple and rustic. It is essentially a one room living space divided by furniture into a bedroom that can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons, living cum dining room and a kitchenette. At one end is the bathroom and toilet.
It is ideal for short vacations or a longer stay.

I visited Sans Souci with my wife and son last summer as personal guests of the owners, before they decided to put the place up for Bed & Breakfast.
The place is a very quaint and personal kind of accommodation set in very green and tranquil surroundings. The opportunity to re-connect with nature or even your own family is available in abundance, in the form of nature walks, sightseeing and shopping (at Ooty). While we were there, we were lucky to come across a herd of wild Bison which had come right up to the estate. Similarly, deer and elephant sightings are supposed to be common.
However, the highlight of our stay was the very personal and caring treatment given to us by the staff there. They really spoilt us!
