The Cottage was more than we expected, clean, spacious, and a lot of thought supplying tea-sugar-wine etc, and a starter of coal and fuel lighter's, a host of other thing's went into their rental which would please any person, the area is obviously remarkable with scenery etc, as is all of Wales with so much to do, we normally visit Wales in our tourer caravan, but this was a lovely change, and Grandchildren loved every minute of the holiday meeting everyone, but then Blaenau was my home town many years ago, and came back to visit family all around Wales, would recommend this family cottage to anyone, and they wouldn't be disappointed at all
Beautiful little cottage

This is a lovely little cottage right opposite the river. It has a coal/log burner (the owner leaves some coal and logs for you). Very comfortable and clean. Great location for exploring Snowdonia. Only 5 mins walk from a steam railway station.
Cottage is well-equipped with tea bags, coffee, herbs & spices, washing up liquid, toilet roll, etc.

Nice cottage, had everything we needed including a drier! In a small village just outside Blaenaeu. Beautifully updated cottage that has a lovely woodburner in the downstairs room. Good area for sightseeing and walking. Lots of industrial heritage about i.e. slateworks. Quiet village but pubs etc about a mile away.
