Apartment Dumas is situated on the second and top floor of a small building in Taormina and offers a comfortable and elegant solution for couples or families looking for a terraced apartment close to one of the most charming historic centers in Sicily. Excellently located, just a few hundred meters from the main street of "Corso Umberto", Apartment Dumas provides an ideal accommodation for discovering local treasures and enjoying the town's lively atmosphere. It is also a great point of departure for exploring nearby natural wonders like Mount Etna's Park, the amazing canyon of Alcantara and the beautiful seaside destinations of Mazzarò...;, Capo S. Andrea, Isola Bella and Giardini Naxos. Interiors are furnished with charming taste and design, and every detail has been chosen with care and attention in order to offer all modern comforts in a warm and functional atmosphere. The oak-beamed ceiling, the traditional majolica tiles, the wooden furniture and the matching fabrics all represent a combination of refined materials and elegant finishing touches, which truly make this vacation home a comfortable home-away-from-home. The apartment has two romantic bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher, toaster) and a bright and luminous living room. This cozy indoor atmosphere is accentuated by the exclusive terrace from which you can admire, in absolute comfort and pleasure, the outstanding view of Taormina's Ancient Theater, the sea and the grandeur of Mount Etna.

The apartment is approx. 80 sq. meters and sleeps five guests (four in bedrooms and one on a sleeper sofa in the living area). Amenities include air conditioning, hairdryers, ironing facilities, and four mosquito nets.

Taormina is a small town with approx. 10,000 inhabitants and is situated on the eastern coast of Sicily, 40 Km away from Messina. The majestic Aetna, the wonderful bay of Isola Bella and the strands of Mazzarò and Giardini Naxos form an enchanting background to the ancient Greek theater.   Being high up this apartment was a bit of a challenge to get to.And getting up and down the 47 steps inside the apartment complex with luggage is not something we would like to do very often. However the apartment itself was very roomy, living areas more than adequate, kitchen supplies all we needed. The terrace was exceptional and views from here were hard to beat. One area that could be improved is in the entertainment area. We could not get the DVD player to work nor satelite TV and had to spend the week trying to understand Italian TV. Other than that we were very happy with our choice of apartment.
