Casa Ciliegio is located in a charming Italian "palazzo", that has been subdivided in a couple of apartments, located only a few steps away from the ancient Greek theatre and from the cable car which ferries tourists to and from the seaside resorts down along the coast, such as the famous Isola Bella. The elegant palazzo can be reached walking from the main street Corso Umberto towards the Greek theatre, turning left in a ascending side street with about 20 steps.

I enjoyed my stay very much at Casa Cilegio. It was difficult to find at first and going up the stairs to the building with my heavy suitcases but in the end it was worth it :)
From the dining/living room I sat for hours at the table infront of the window with the beautiful sea view. I stared out for hours having my coffe, meals or just reading and writing. It was wonderful to just sit and do nothing; enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful sea and mountain views from the other two windows. From the bedroom sky window, I saw amazing fireworks and the weather was perfect to sleep with the windows open.
The apartment was the perfect location for me. I enjoyed going to Corso Umberto street, Babilonia (Italian school/garden) and the park from there.
Thank you so much and when I return again I would like to stay there and would recommend to my friends.

We stayed for over a month and discovered that Taormina is lovely in winter as it is in summer. Great colours, lot of sun, beautiful park "villa comunale". A must for every visitor. Casa Ciliegio is cute, has stunning views to town, sea and Etna. Very bright in the morning. I wish we never had left...
