      Cabin in the woods!

Left on 01/22/2012 for a stay in December 2011

We had a great time on our trip. The cabin was excellent for the price. It's located in a great location and is well stocked with kitchen items as well as entertainment items! We will definitely return.

Photos & description a bit deceiving - too close to the road

Left on 01/12/2012 for a stay in November 2011

It's a cabin in the sense that the bathroom and kitchen are adequate and small. Living area has big windows and a nice fireplace. Unfortunately, I'd hoped for a better view,
      and more usable outdoor space.

      Great mountain getaway!

Left on 12/03/2011 for a stay in November 2011

Great mountain getaway at an affordable price. A touch outdated, but fits the atmosphere of a mountain home. The kitchen was well stocked and we felt well taken care of as well. Terry was great to work with and was timely in her communication on our questions. Loved the stock of games, puzzles, and movies available. Wifi and DirectTV were great to have as well!!

Perfect for rest, relaxation & rejuvenating.

Left on 11/22/2011 for a stay in September 2011

I have been going to this cabin for over 40 years. It is still my favorite vacation spot. My family & I leave here feeling rested & rejuvenated. The cabin is comfortable, just like your own home. It is close enough to Taos to enjoy the shopping, excellent dining or just watching an incredible sunset over the canyon. There is so much to do in the vicinity from hiking to skiing. It is a very peaceful, clean & inviting place to stay on your valued vacation time. The stars at night are extraordinary. Staying here is truly a breath of fresh air for the soul.

      Comfortable stay in Taos Canyon

Left on 11/13/2011 for a stay in July 2011

This house was very comfortable and well-stocked. Everything one could need for a comfortable stay in the Toas area was provided. The kitchen had all appliances and utensils for preparing a wide range of meals. The bedrooms were small but comfortable. I was on a month-long working vacation, so the internet connection was vital to me, and I found it to be stable and fast enough for all my needs.

There is a nice warp-around porch with views down Taos Canyon. Hiking trails are plentiful nearby. I found the green pines of the Canyon to be a beautiful contrast to the nearby desert landscape. The evening breezes keep the temperatures comfortable even in the middle of summer.

Perhaps the only way this property could be improved would be if it were further away from the road, as you do hear cars as they drive by. However, for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the Toas area, I can fully recommend this cabin.

P.S. Terry is a great resource for any questions or ideas on things to do in the Toas area.

      Grandma's House

Left on 11/13/2011 for a stay in December 2010

Our experience was fabulous! All the comforts of home, but with the feel of being at Grandma's House. This house was far superior to any condo! It was clean, comfortable and the location was perfect! I couldn't begin to list all of the small things that made this stay so comfortable from the tissues in the bedroom to the spices in the kitchen cabinet. We didn't want to leave!
