Additional Location Information
Located between the Town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley in one of the most coveted areas of Taos Valley, Casita Bonita is perfect for a stroll or a jog right out the front door through the beautiful mesa with million dollar views in every direction. Skiing, fishing, hiking, shopping and museum-hopping are all just minutes away. Taos Pueblo is the only living Native American community designated both a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a National Historic Landmark. The multi-storied adobe buildings have been continuously inhabited for over 1000 years. Taos Pueblo is truly unique and a must-see, only a 10 minute drive from Casita Bonita. Less than 10 miles west of the property, you'll find the 10th highest bridge in the US, the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Don't forget your camera, the views are incredible! On the way to Taos Ski Valley, make sure to check out the artistic Village of Arroyo Seco which is home to restaurants, shopping and museums. Taos Ski Valley offers an abundance of hiking in the summer, including Wheeler Peak, which is, at 13,167 feet, the highest peak in New Mexico. Whether riding the rapids through the Rio Grande or enjoying a Microbrew and a good book with magnificent views, there's a little something for everyone in Taos. With a long history of indigenous Pueblo culture, Spanish influence, Adobe architecture and wildly creative artists, Taos offers a mix that you won't find anywhere else. If you can't find a way to move here, you'll certainly find a way to come back.

New York Cityperfect getaway!
Left on 03/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013
I found our stay at Casita Bonita to be perfectly lovely. The Casita is comfortable with ascetically pleasing surroundings with a lovely touch of New Mexico. The views as you step out the front door are breathtaking. The Casita has all the amenities and is the best of both worlds. You will feel your are far enough away that you are in your own retreat yet close enough to the downtown, restaurants and the ski valley so all is convenient. A great little spot to get away from the pressures of urban life, take a deep breathe yet fill your days with skiing, hiking, shopping and the great cuisine of Northern New Mexico. So comfortable and affordable! Thanks for sharing Casita Bonita with me and my partner this ski season!

Dallas, TXRomantic and Beautiful, we loved it!!!
Left on 03/12/2013 for a stay in January 2013
This condo is a gem!!! We planned a last minute ski vacation and the owners were so friendly and helpful! Casita Bonita has gorgeous views, lots of sunlight and it's location between Taos and the Taos Ski Valley is perfect. This is our very first experience with Vrbo and I'm delighted to say we will be returning to Taos and to Casita Bonita. The condo is really cozy and clean and is bigger than it looks in the photos. The bed was super comfortable and the jacuzzi tub felt great after a day of skiing!
