We had a lovely stay at the Sierra Del Sol Condominiums. Personally I was badly affected by the 9,200 ft altitude, (we did not realise it was at such a height - but it is a Ski Resort?), but my wife was OK. The accommodation was spacious and very well thought out. We had everything we needed, except a potato masher, which is a very English need. The Manager and staff were very helpful, pleasant and understanding to my altitude sickness. The manager advised us on what precautions to take to avoid it in future. We would happily stay there again.

Taos Ski Valley is my Idyllic getaway any time of year. This time I was catching up on paperwork. I would wake up and have breakfast by the creek outside the condo, do some work and then go for a bike ride in late afternoon. I never made it for hiking though I had told myself if I got all my work done I would hike to Wheeler Peak. I only made it through 2/3 of my work. I did hike up al's run a bit at midnight and watched the stars...The condo totally worked. It was a studio with a Murphy bed. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the kitchen was complete. I will definitely be back! Great Location! It wasn't luxurious but it was affordable and well worth it!

Studio with Full Kitchen, Full bath totally self sufficent, private with
views of the Rio Hondo and upper ski slopes. Well maintained with
updated appliances. Staff is friendly and helpful, you do need to shop
for groceries in town of Taos,(if you do not want to eat at the
restaurants in walking distance) the Kitchen comes equiped with pots
pans and utensils.
Love the remoteness and quiet of the area would love to stay for more
than a week. If there is lots of snow the walk to the car can be tricky
but this is part of the high mountain resort experience. Easy walking
