This exquisite one-bedroom, one-bath with loft condo will take your breath away. This condo has been newly renovated with southwestern style plaster, custom cabinets and high end kitchen appliances. The bathroom has custom southwestern style cabinetry with a conveniently large natural stone shower. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom, two twin beds in the loft and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room.

The condo was in a great location in relation to ski rentals and lifts. It was a perfect size for our family of four. The housekeeping and office services were wonderful. We especially loved the condo's southwest feel exhibited in the tile shower and kitchen decor. The beds(mattresses) were the only thing that need updating, they were not very comfortable at all, which is mainly why we chose not to stay the last night of our reservation.

This condo was very comfortable and did look just like the pictures. The location was great and the layout of the unit was very convenient, with ski racks, a bench and closet bar right at the entrance, keeping the snow out of the living area. The kitchen was well-stocked. A pleasant surprise was the daily trash pickup and towel replacement. This is an older complex, and lacks some of the amenities like a hot tub. Unfortunately, two weeks before we arrived, all the fireplaces were deemed "unsafe" and could not be used. Then on Christmas Day, our second night of a 6 night stay, the water heater in our building broke down! The management offered us another unit to use to take showers, and then called us the next morning to see if we wanted to use it again. They also stocked it with towels for us and were extremely apologetic about the inconvenience. However, with the holiday, it was 2 1/2 days before the water heater could be repaired. During that time, management kept giving us the other unit, so it was not as bad as it could have been. At the end of our stay, the management staff offered us a substantial refund, so it made up for the inconvenience.

The condo was clean, beds made and towels replaced daily. The location can't be beat.
The large coffee maker needs work and tends to put more coffee on the counter than the pot.
The hot tub blower never worked. Only having one hot tub...sized for 4 adults is a problem. It is my understanding that the other hot tub is reserved for owners. That is a problem.
Beds were comfortable and the unit fit 4 adult men just fine. This is my 4th stay at Sierra Del Sol. -

We had a very nice 9 day stay at sierra del sol; the condo was roomier than several other properties we've stayed at in Taos.
The service was very good - the few issues we had were quickly addressed and solved.
The housekeepers checked on us every day and did a nice job. -

Overall we had a great vacation. The service was good and we had clean towels every day. The location could not be better it's a one minute walk to the ski lift.
Not so good:
The curtain was missing in the living room and the sleep couch is horrible to sleep on. We used it for our kids and they did not complain. -

Cindy, the property manager was very nice and helpful. The 1BR condo with the loft worked perfectly for us, the location was great and we hope to be back next year.

Well equipped unit with all the amenities, even 2 coffee makers and
plenty of pots and pans, including large enough ones in which to really
do some cooking. Furnishings and decor contemporary and in
