Description from the owner
A private home that we rent to special families looking for a quiet place, close to Taos. Two miles from the Plaza on the end of a quiet road. Spectacular views through the pinon and juniper forest.
There is a detached casita which is currently occupied by a single woman. We have two dogs and a cat so animals are not a problem. It is also one the the few handicap accessible homes with ramp, single story, wheelchair access to shower

Views of the Picuris Mtns, Taos Mtn and overlooking Taos. National forest within walking distance. Covered parking for two, circle drive. Four wheel drive recommended for winter.

The Hacienda Pinon was a great find. The amenities where endless. All five of us truly enjoyed our stay- we wished it could have been longer. The house was well maintained with everything you needed, could think of and more. The house is handicap accessible which makes it easy for people with disabilities. The property is great too. I am so glad that we decided to stay here it was worth every penny. Hope to return soon.

This is a great house to rent. It is spacious and well laid out. My siblings met there for a reunion and all loved the place. The living room is nice, but we spent all of our time in the kitchen, great room and on the deck. We did a lot of cooking there and 6 people can easily cook together without bumping into each other. It is a short drive to downtown Taos. The owners and manager were all very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend it.

Our visit was during the last week of January to ski at Taos which is only a half hour drive.
The house was very clean and comfortable. We always gathered in the great room. The huge kitchen provided 3 work stations. I especially enjoyed the views in all directions. We were close to town, but couldn't hear any noise. The house is large enough to find a quiet spot to read - even when staying with a large group.
We will definately return for another stay at this house. -

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Hacienda
Pinon. The amenities were first rate: the home is
wonderfully decorated and very comfortable, and we
were close to the center of town, although we felt as
though we were miles away. Jane and Roy have
provided everything one could want and need.
Although there were just two of us, the home could
accommodate a very large group. We would highly
recommend this to anyone who wants a first class
experience!
