Description from the manager
Located in the historic "Silk Stocking" area of the Town of Taos, Casa Azul offers a taste of what historic "Adobe" architecture feels like. A truly authentic "restored adobe", Casa Azul has charmed many guests throughout the years. An adobe private wall gracing the tastefully landscaped yard offers guests a sense of seclusion while being in the heart of town. A "treasured find" is the outdoor wood burning Kiva Fireplace for cozy chilly evenings, singing Christmas Carols in December and warm conversation year round. An easy walk to town and the Taos plaza make this lovely casita well located for the guest who chooses to experience living in t...Read more

Byron, IllinoisCozy, Cute Casita
Left on 04/09/2013 for a stay in March 2013
My husband, adult son and I stayed 2 nights at Casa azul 2. It was very comfortable and cozy. The gas kiva fireplace inside was easy and delightful to use and the outdoor kiva was an added bonus. We were very happy to find a well-supplied kitchen! A great location - walking distance to the Plaza. One day the men went skiing and I walked to the Plaza to shop. The management company seemed truly interested in making our stay pleasant and memorable.

The house was darling and in very nice condition. The decor was tastefully New Mexico. We have 5 people staying there which was a bit much for the one bathroom, otherwise the house was lovely!

Austin, TXComfortable, nicely furnished and a great location!
Left on 10/11/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We found the two-bedroom house very comfortable for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely furnished so that we were able to prepare a nice, big breakfast every morning to start the day. Things we really liked: We used the washer/dryer a lot more than we thought we would (or maybe the kids just got a lot dirtier than we thought they would), we loved the back patio with the kiva fireplace for s'mores, and while not music snobs we found ourselves using the provided stereo with included ipod dock every day (or night for charging phones). It was also a nice touch that they included space heaters and small things like matches and flashlights.. the little things you don't think about but wind up using! While not smack downtown we also loved the location. We had no trouble walking to the park and shops downtown (even with little kids) and we were also only a few blocks away from the new Taos-version of Whole Foods (called Cid's) which we frequented several times for groceries and snacks. We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again.
