This one bedroom-one bath home is the warm and cozy, south facing half of a two family adobe.
It features tile flooring, plush carpeting, a wood burning stove and rustic vigas. The kitchen is fully equipped and features Mexican tile and modern appliances. Also included is a washer and dryer.
Enjoy the outdoors from the beautiful wooden deck overlooking a fruit tree laden fenced yard. Cool dogs always welcome!

Holy Cross is the closest hospital. Take Paseo del Pueblo Sur to Paseo del Canon East and turn East, towards the mountains. Turn right at the second roundabout, Weimer Rd. Follow the road until you see the hospital on your left.
Please clean your dishes and place on the drying rack or away in the cupboards where you found them.
Upon departure, please lock door and place the key back underneath the mat.
If you have changed around any of the TV/VCR/DVD hook-ups, put them back the way you found them upon arrival. Please make sure they work!
Please turn off the oven, stove, coffee pot and lights.
If you want to strip the beds-Great! But only strip down to the sheets, please leave the mattress pads on. Thanks!

Jessica is a wonderful hostess and very attentive I was comfortable and happy. A cozy home and great location! Walking distance to town and Cids a great health food store.

The casita was just fine for our purposes except for one major thing. It was Thanksgiving and I intended to cook for my kids then and throughout our stay. The kitchen was poorly equipped for much use.
It would be great if someone who cooks would review the supplies and add some things that everyone who cooks would expect to find. I bought and left behind a corkscrew! -

My family and I had never been to Taos before and Casita Rio-Riverside was truly the perfect location. We were able to walk to most places in town. The Casita Rio has a spacious and clean kitchen and the sleeping areas met all of our needs-there were 2 couples and a single staying there. We enjoyed having a fire indoors and out and felt right at home.
Jessica was available for anything we needed.
I recommend staying at Casita Rio with Jessica and willreturn to the same location next time. -

We'd definitely stay again. Location is next to a car wash, but you can't really see it from the house and it's nice to be so close to town. We were able to fit two adults and two kids comfortably into this space. I recommend this rental.
