Description from the manager
Jordan Cabin - Nestled in a 2 acre secluded wooded setting with an acequia (irrigation stream so coveted in New Mexico - read Milagros Bean Field War) running between the front yard and an orchard of apple, cherry, plum and pear trees. Along the acequia are giant ancient cottonwood trees and a foot bridge to the other side for hiking and exploring. The large covered front porch overlooks the acequia and the orchard. A dreamy setting for reading a good book, listening to the stream and watching local wild life carry on their days.
The historic cabin dates from circa 1850 in Weston Missouri just north of Kansas City on the Missouri River....Read more

What Past Guests Are Saying
An art-Filled, Intimate Experience
In a state filled with adobe buildings, Jordan Cabin's historic wood structure is a really unique place! The bed is sooo comfortable, the private hot tub is a godsend after hiking or skiing all day, and the location is private. It feels remote and rustic but you're only a few minutes' drive from the nearest grocery store. And the original art that adorns the walls (some of which was created by the owner, who is wonderful) makes you feel like you're in a museum. No watercolor landscape reprints here! Yes, the stairs are a little narrow and steep and require some agility, but if you're in Taos to ski or hike you'll be fine. Perfect for a couple! And the price can't be beat!
The landlords were very kind and available if needed. The Bedroom was very comfortable. Hot tub was perfect. We did need to have wifi access and it was not very good but the landlord was working on improving it for their guests. The overall property was very well kept, however, it was not as open as it appears in the photos. We tend to prefer a more open setting. Purely personal preference. The stairs up to the bedroom were a bit challenging in that they are narrow and steep. Necessary to take your time. Might be difficult for some folks to manuever. Could not tell this from the photos. Perfect for a couple.

Quiet romantic get-a-way
Our hosts were very accomodating and the the private jacuzzi in the backyard was a very nice touch. Cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated.
