What Past Guests Are Saying
Los Altos, Ca
OK for a place to sleep.
The place was nice, clean and quiet but there were basic amenities missing that I expect, like soap, shampoo and conditioner and SERIOUSLY...COFFEE FILTERS. Why provide a coffee maker and no filter? Minimal cable service. Recommend you use this as a place to sleep, not a lot else.

if they ever want to sell this property, please let me know. i would at least consider purchasing it.

Second stay - November 2009
Very nice, comfortable house with spectacular 360 degree views, and quiet location. Seems much more spacious inside than the exterior indicates. A little difficult to find in the dark, being quite a ways out of town - even when you know where it's supposed to be - exacerbated by the fact that the porch light couldn't be turned on for more than a few seconds at a time (on timer/motion detector/light sensor).
A fireplace would be a nice addition to add atmosphere on a cold night, but the absence is not a big deal.
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay - would recommend.

spencer family at high desert
the road into the property is very rough and deteriorated from last year - that is a more generalized problem than one related to this property. also the roof around the vent in the guest bath leaked slightly during a significant rain while we were there. they may want to look into that. it is wonderful home for us.
