We couldn't have been more pleased from the moment we drove up a little past dusk, and the welcoming lights and warmth of the Dragonfly Estate welcomed us in. It was all set up and ready for us when we arrived and the kitchen was great with a bottle of champagne and chips and salsa. Great location, very clean and well supplied kitchen, very bright and very large with a lovely dining room with a kiva fireplace. We enjoyed the incredible views and quiet peaceful surroundings. We relaxed in the hot tub out on the deck off the master bedroom and looked up at an incredible blanket of stars.
Everything is top notch and beautifully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen with professional chief gas stove, we made a lovely dinner and then in the am enjoyed the coffee/espresso maker, 4 slice toaster, coffee grinder and all utensils. With all the amenities we weren’t missing anything.
There is an LCD TV with built-in surround system in the upstairs living room (there was a stereo and speakers downstairs that wafted through the downstairs garden area with white twinkling lights, kitchen and dining room and the downstairs bedroom has a nice TV and DVD player along with a Sony game player.
We had arrived after dark so we didn't get to see the view until morning and wow it is amazing. Everything went above and beyond our expectations.
This stunning mountain home features lovely furnishings and finishes throughout as well as breathtaking mountain views from almost every room in the house. Its open and spacious layout is perfectly suited for large groups or families. This home boasts multiple fireplaces, wireless Internet access; you’ll be vacationing in style when you stay at the Dragon Fly Estate.
There are 2 gas grills, huge decks all around the top floor, this property is amazing! The view is spectacular and it is so beautifully yet comfortably appointed. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Valdez Valley and Taos mountains. The common areas are big and plentiful. Don’t miss staying in this great Taos treasure, as you enjoy the moon and stars and sunsets and sunrises are just what you hope for when visiting Taos.
