Ponder, Texas, United StatesGreat Vacation Home
Left on 12/31/2012 for a stay in December 2012
We rented Pepe's place for our ski vacation and the house rental was beyond great. We went with another family and all of us have children. The House had a great floorplan giving more than enough room and even enough space for privacy. This was the first rental I had been to that supplied things like shampoo, laudry soap etc. The location was very close to town and the ski valley resort. We are looking foward to renting Pepe's place again in the near future.

Left on 11/29/2012 for a stay in August 2012
My two friends and I stayed at Pepe's Place in august 2012 for a guy weekend/reunion. We came from out of state during a time when our daily temps had been 100+ for what seemed like forever. Taos and especially this house were absolutely the perfect break we were looking for. Weather was oh so nice, the house was immaculate and the nearby activities were just our speed (e.g. sightseeing, hiking, grilling steaks, and a beer while relaxing on the back porch). Terry, the property manager, was extremely helpful and nice, especially considering I had to embarassingly call her for a spare key when we accidentally locked ourselves out. (Thanks again Terry for bailing us out!). Terry answered all my various questions promptly and courteously via email prior to our arrival and everything was just as she said when we arrived. We especially enjoyed each of us having our own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was a grill and charcoal on the back porch which allowed us to have a few good homecooked meals. We also loved the semi-isolated location as we had very quiet neighbors and a great view of the mountains. I can't think of anything we would have done differently. Three months later we still talk about how fun that weekend and can't wait to do it again. If you too need a break from the rat race, I highly recommend Pepe's Place and Taos.

Satatoga Spings, New YorkPepe's Place, vistas, house decor, truly enchanting!
Left on 11/09/2011 for a stay in August 2006
My husband and I stayed at Pepe's Place for a week in August. The house was spacious yet comfortable, beautifully appointed in a southwest motif and included original colorful paintings by a local artist. The scenery from Pepe's was breathtakingly beautiful in all directions. Each day began and ended in the pristine hot tub overlooking the Sangre de Cristo mountains and an amazing star laden sky in the evening. Pepe's is private and quiet yet just a short drive to restaurants, galleries, and museums in Taos. There is much to see and experience in this area. Our only regret is that our stay was only a week. Pepe's, Taos, the gorgeous landscape, art, Native American reservations, Pueblo Chapels, exceptinal cuisine all made us hunger for our next visit to "the land of enchantment."

Eads, TennesseePepe's Place was perfect...
Left on 11/05/2011 for a stay in July 2011
I came out to Taos with my three nieces, and Pepe's Place was was perfect. It's proximity to town and the mountain made our activities a breeze. Its kitchen hosted delicious meals and the back porch became our "girl talk" hangout. I can't help but mention how nice (and rare in Taos) to be able to find a home with 3 bathrooms! Many thanks to the homeowners and Terry at Rosslynn, I can't wait to come back!

Left on 11/02/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This is the place to stay in Taos. We've been 7 or 8 times and its always been great. The house is off a gravel road with fields and a few houses about. Layout is expansive yet warm. Views are fantastic with Taos Mountain dominating the sky outside your windows, along with a half dozen young aspen trees. Nights you have ringside seats in the hot tub for the star show extravaganza. You get a full sense of the beauty of this special place. The nitty gritty: this is a big house in a great location for a good rate. The furnishings are comfortable southwesternesque, and the place has always been spotless. We've stayed all over the area, trying different houses, but we keep coming back.
