This efficiency apartment is a "mother-in-law apartment" on the first floor of our 3-story townhome. You share a front door with us but have your own locking door and all of the first floor (with patio) for complete privacy while you're with us... with access to a full eat-in kitchen on the main floor, if you love to cook (and will cean up after yourself!). You're also welcome to enjoy the main floor living/dining room with wide balcony.

(Should you need more than 2 beds, ask about the master... suite on the second floor, which has a comfy queen bed, chest, roomy closet, desk, private screened balcony with a beautiful view, and en suite full bath with tub.)

When you're our guest, you enjoy full access to our very private community's heated swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, free library, and Gulf-front nature walk.

The beautiful park-like view includes a large lawn, shaded with tall pines and tropical shrubs, and a quiet private marina where ospreys, great blue herons, snowy egrets and even bald eagles fish.

You're likely to see stunning sunsets from the Gulf-front nature walk, the marina, or your private patio.

This home away from home is less than 10 minutes from charming downtown Tarpon's antique shops and the world-famous Sponge Docks.

It's also close to pristine beaches (Sunset Beach & Howard Park), Honeymoon Island State Park and the ferry to Caladesi Island. Beaches at both Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island have been ranked at the top of lists of the world's best beaches.

If you appreciate character and unique accommodations, this place offers a wood-burning fireplace and Old World charm, in the form of brick archways. (Okay, they're faux brick, but who cares? :)

Think quiet is good? The noisiest neighbor usually is the osprey who hangs out in one of the pine trees near your patio.

It's also nice to be greeted with the special touches you usually get only at a high-end hotel: fresh flowers, a basket of seasonal fruit, an assortment of gourmet coffees and teas, and tasty goodies to get you through your first morning. (This is our welcome gift to you.)

You will be just down the road (about 3 miles) from the best Greek restaurants in the Americas, but sometimes you just want to eat in, right? The wet bar includes a microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, dishes, flatware and a steamer.

The bedroom area has twin beds. Shower only in the full bath.

We are here when you need us to point you to the best local river boat cruise, the best breakfast place, the best Greek bakery, the closest beach... but otherwise, we're out of your way.

We provide free wifi.

We have furnished the place with comfy and pretty rattan sofa and loveseat; a 32-inch HDTV with 200+ channels; a rattan recliner, silk and real tropical plants, and real art, including nature photos by the late great Yankees photographer Michael Cerone.

Smoking is allowed on your private patio or anywhere else outdoors, but never indoors. (For our non-smoking guests, please note: There's no need for concern about left-over odors from smoking, as indoor smoking has never been allowed.)

Declawed cats allowed; otherwise, sorry, no pets.

Off-street parking in private driveway.

Love to golf? World-class golf, dining and spa services are just a mile away at Innisbrook, long a pro golfers' favorite on the Masters circuit.

Owner's living quarters and office space are on 2nd and 3rd floors of the property. Shared entrance is on the second floor, so you must be able to navigate stairs easily. Shared large laundry room on first floor.

  This charming apartment is perfect for a relaxing get-away. The renters went out of their way to make sure everything we might need was available. When we arrived during a cold spell, there was even a fire going in the fireplace. There were other thoughtful touches as well - water and juice in the fridge, fresh fruit and wide assortment of coffee, tea and even hot chocolate! If we travel in this area again, we will go back. It was nice and quite as well.

  My husband and I have stayed here on several occasions.
  We just keep coming back as the hostess is a+++.
  You would think you are the king and queen of England.
  Cheryl, the innkeeper, goes above and beyond. Fresh flowers,
  gourmet coffee and creamers, and greek pastries were our welcome gifts.
  I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, the bed was ultracomfortable.
  I will always go back to this hide-a-way; none other compares.

  I've stayed here several times while visiting a bud in Tarpon Springs. Great space and privacy, away from the rest of the house. Nice TV area. Cool arches. Fireplace a plus - can't get that in a hotel room! Neighborhood is great for walking. Nice to have access to a pool, ping pong & pool tables, etc. Two comfortable beds, as we a good bathroom and shower
