Visit our Cottage on our Private Beach outside quaint Tarpum Bay on the island of Eleuthera, in The Bahamas. Quiet, relaxed getaway lifestyle on the picturesque "Caribbean Side" of the island. Walk on the secluded beach and explore the island at your leisure. We have a stone grill/fireplace on the beach, with tables and benches and a great view of the shorelines.Shells of all kinds are found by the pailful.     2 Miles north of Tarpum Bay on Queen's Highway, a picturesque fishing village on beautiful Eleuthera. Take your morning coffee down to the beach in the early morning, spend your day exploring the island and its friendly inhabitants, and enjoy the cocktail hour on the porch or beach watching the sun disappear into the water, as you grill your dinner on the beach.
    You can explore other beaches in your rental car, scuba dive, hire a deepsea fishing boat for some world class fishing, go bonefishing, or use a small rig to just fish off the rocks along the shore. there are caves, cliffs, gorgeous ocean views, remote beaches, and numerous quaint villages to explore during your stay.
    Parking is never a problem anywhere, and traffic is nil. A rental car, locally procured from local vendors, is recommended for your stay. There are no Avis, Hertz or Enterprise, etc.
    Your nearest neighbor is a hundred feet away through the trees on one side, and a quarter mile away on the other, so privacy is part and parcel to your stay here.

      Peaceful serenity!

      Left on 02/28/2013 for a stay in August 2012

      Seabreeze cottage is the perfect choice if you truly need to get away from the hustle and bustle of 'the real world'. The cottage is very enviting and comfortable. It is treat to be able to walk out of the the house, up the short path and you're on the beach!! And there is no one else around.
      The nearby town is very quaint. Also there are decent restuarants in close proximity for those times when you want to eat out.
      I highly recommend this rental property.
