There is a very spacious master bedroom with queen bed, spacious living area with large screen cable TV and a separate study area where you can write, study or just take time off. The Star apartment was perfect from both the layout of the apartment itself as well as the location. Having a well designed base for an extended stay makes a lot of difference and the ability to have people come in to visit and relax with me was a great benefit of this apartment. The work space allowed me to be productive as well.
The location off Basel was just wonderful. There were so many places to shop and restaurants to visit that I almost didn't need to leave the neighborhood to enjoy what Tel aviv is famous for. And so close to the beach without being caught up in the tourist vibe. Aa short walk got me to the beach but I was living in a real neighborhood, safe and quiet.
I felt at home in Star. Being a walk up I even got some exercise every day. Moving in and out took planning but it was worth it! -

Beautyful apartment, in a very quiet area, although it´s not far away from very nice cafés, restaurants etc.. Everything is clean, service very good and we´ll come again next year (this time it was our 2nd time in this flat) for sure to Har Nevo!!!

This past spring (March 2012) my wife, daughter, and I visited Tel aviv and stayed 1 week at the "Magnificent Star Tel-Aviv Vacation Rental". From a to Z we were satisfied with the accommodations, the services, and all the amenities. We could not have been better located in the city, and close enough to the beach, yet tucked away on a quiet street so as to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. Thank you annette for all your assistance and accommodating all our demands.

This was our third time renting with annette & Tali and every time has been perfect. We particularly loved this apartment. It was presented to us in immaculate condition with everything we needed for our 2 1/2 week stay. The apartment is bright and airy and roomy with plenty of storage space. Bed was really comfortable.The Basel area is really excellent with cafes, excellent restaurants, and convenient supermarkets and specialty shops on Ibn Givrol and Basel. It is close to Dizengoff and an easy walk to the port, and beach (Hilton Beach is the closest beach).
We also loved the Jean Jaures apartment that we stayed in last year. Also a great location. But the Star apartment offered us great space, and a washer & dryer that was very convenient for our long stay.
Tali & Annette are there for their tenants - so if there is anything you need or something goes wrong they will respond promptly. We will continue to rent with them for our upcoming trips!

I have rented the flat for two friends who arrived from London for my wedding.
The flat is located near my home which is considred to be one of the best areas to live in Tel aviv. It is very close to the high street, the sea and the port and 2 mins walk from Basel sq. where you can find great shopping, coffee shops restaurants and bars.
It was very easy to book the place from the internet. Annette the owner was extremly friendly and was happy to help me with all that was needed.
My friends loved the flat and the design. It had all they needed. They enjoyed the location and found all the great spots without needing me to take them around. Worth the price! -

I stayed in this apartment in the summer for just under 3 weeks. It was perfect. The only down side was it was a good 20 minute walk to the beach that i liked and no pool. Other than that you couldnt fault it what so ever. Annette and Tali were so friendly and helpful and couldnt be nicer. When looking for somewhere to stay you wonder if the pictures will relate to the property as many dont, but this does, you walk in and it is just like it is on the pictures. Very modern, cosy and inviting, a home from home. The standard of furnishings is top quality and you dont ever want to leave! The apartment block is in a really nice area with plenty of shops and restaurants around! Very quiet and i would 100% stay again. When checking out no one turned up for this but other than that no complaints. Wouldnt say spare bedroom is not suitable for adults, more children or teenagers as bed is small.

Annette was fantastically helpful, right from the start. She answered all our questions before and during our booking online and she kept in contact before we left for Israel. We telephoned her when we had collected our luggage at the airport, told us how much we should expect to pay for a taxi and met us at the apartment.
The apartment is on the second floor and there is no lift but it is really fine. It has amazingly high ceilings and looks exactly like the photos. It is spacious and clean and bright. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses and everything that you might need ( even an iron and ironing board and a dishwasher). There were plenty it towels and beach towels and a bucket and spade ( made my daughters day- especially as the beach is only about a 10 minute walk away. The apartment is so close to shops, cages and restaurants and supermarkets. We immediately felt at home at had a fantastic stay. We even washed our clothes before coming home! The air conditioning is very effective and the shutters on the windows in the second bedroom ( double sofa bed) meant that we had to wale our daughter up every morning!
The wifi wasn't working so we texted annette and she came over and fixed it for us.
We will definately recommend city vacations to anyone who wants to stay in an apartment in tel aviv. -

Everything was excellent. The apartment is so central that we found that we did not need a car in Tel aviv as we had so many choices of buses. Shopping, and restaurants are just around the corner well withing walking distance. The Wi Fi was a definite plus in helping us plan our tours and staying in touch with the family. My wife loved the fully equiped kitchen with all the latest appliances and having a washing machine and dryer was really a terrific plus. I got flowers on my birthday from annette and Tali and a new washing machine was installed immediately when we had problems with the old one plus it was a pleasure dealing with annette as always. Would definitely recomend the "Star" to anyone who is looking for a full service, reasonably priced, well appointed and comfortable apartment in the center of North Tel aviv within easy reach of everything. We will be back in 2013.

This was a lovely modern clean apartment with very comfortable beds, lovely bed linen, very efficient air conditioning and a nice quiet but easily accessible location. The only thing I would suggest is that an information booklet would be really useful with details on local bus tours, Jaffa, points of interest, Jerusalem etc for those who haven't managed to bring along their laptop (which crashed just prior to the trip!) This was a really lovely apartment though and Tel aviv is just amazing and welcoming.

I loved it! This apartment is very clean, comfortable, and has plenty of room. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and within walking distance of the beach. The bed and pillows were great, as well as the kitchen having everything we needed. Tali and annette were wonderful to work with. Very pleased with my stay here and I would highly recommend it to others.

We stayed here for 6 nights, the flat is really wonderfull. it's safe, it's modern it's better like home and much better than a 5 star hotel. Annette is really a wonderful lady, she contacted me a few times when I was at the airport to make shure I didn't had any problems, once I arrived she was there waiting for us, took us to the appartment (I didn't know what I saw.... I was speechless so beautifull) she drive with me to a cheap and safe parkingplace. everything is brand new, fully equipped kitchen, drayer and washing machine in the big bathroom, even a hairdrayer. she had plenty of towels and very good bed cheets.A fast WIFI connection is available in the flat and it's free. if you go to Tel Aviv contact Annette.... she's like a mother over there to take care of you! All her other appartments are has wonderfull as the one we stayed in..... certenly we're going back there. ONE ADRESS CALL Anette!! WE WILL BE BACK SOON in one of your appartments.

We have stayed with City Vacation properties the last few times we have been
in Israel. The properties are in good locations, and have been updated
however we found that in this stay the details were missing -
- The knives & forks were falling apart (spoons would break when you scoop
food etc). The pots and pans all had broken handles and of what was left it
was hard to cook anything with such a limited offering. We had to go out and
purchase basic items (knives that cut etc) just to have friends over for dinner.
- A microwave but no microwave proof dishes?
- The shower leaked all over the floor - not only destroying the floor & wall
by meaning a huge clean up each time we showered - annoying.
- The pillows on the bed were really cheep - not doing much at all.
- Cleaners would come at 9am - not a great time when you are on holidays
Even simple things like including a coffee plunger - as apposed to a jar of
the cheapest instant coffee.
Look we are not paying 5 star prices but we are also not paying 3 star and
we expect the basic details to be a little better.
Lastly - we arrived early evening on Friday and my husband was forced to
dry around to parking places and try to negotiate a rate to park the car (with
no chance of parking on the street) only to have to walk 5 minutes to the car
with a 5 month old each time we want to go somewhere. I would have been
an easy service for CV to go and arrange a preferred deal with a close by
carpark so we didn't have to do this on arrival - as i said, its the details that
let this accommodation down.
All in all it was ok - clean, in a good location, but lacking in the details. -

We loved our month at the Star apartment. The owners did everything possible to make us comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed and was very attractive. The location is A+; we walked everywhere and in spite of eating fabulously at the local pastry shops and cafes and Italian restaurant, didn't gain a pound (no car). Go!

We stayed at the Star apartment in July 2009 and had a brilliant experience. The apartment was very clean, simply but stylishly furnished and had everything we needed. Linen was immaculate and plentiful, and the kitchen and laundry facilities were great. We have two young children and the baby was just beginning to crawl, so it was perfect that everything was safely on one level. The apartment was located off Basel Street, which is a great area, particularly good for us as we have family living there, but even if you have no connections with the city it's a really central position. The owners were really fair and lovely to deal with which made the whole experience very smooth and enjoyable. A couple of things to consider, I wouldn't call them drawbacks because they weren't for us, but they may be for someone else. Firstly it's about a 15 minute walk to the beach, and secondly there is no lift so lots of luggage can make it a bit tiring, but apart from that we can not recommend it highly enough and will certainly look to stay there again.

Price: For around $150 ( depends how many nights you stay etc.) It's a very
good deal. For that price you get a brand new fully equipped apartment in
the center of Tel Aviv. Any cheap hotel with a tiny room in the area would
cost more.
Service: I have stayed at the Star Tel Aviv vacation rentals in 2008, 2009. The
great service started with detailed information via email by Annette and
everything she said was "delivered to to a T". While staying there everything
we asked was taken care of right right away. Annette the owner did
everything she could to make our stay pleasant and easy.
The apartment: looks brand new and has everything you need from kitchen
to WIFI internet, washer dryer etc. After we settled it felt like we can stay for
good.
Location: As an Israeli and an ex Tel Aviv resident I can say I know Tel Aviv
inside out. The location of the apartment right in the heart of Bazel is the
most convenient in the city. Everything that you need or anywhere you want
to go to is either under the apartment of five minutes away including the
beach.
Downside: The only possible downside is that there's no elevator and it's
second floor. If you don't have a baby that can't walk or no babies at all you
shouldn't be bothered by it. I stayed there with my a one year old baby and
for me it was just fine.
Overall experience: Great service, very nice apartment and top notch
location. That's a place you go to year after year. -

We stayed in this flat for 10 nights, the location is grate just neat Bazel st with
many restaurants and shops. We loved the flat, very spacious and stylish.
In a hot day it was grate to stay in for few hours and cook something nice.
Annette and Tali are amazing they always on the other side of the phone if you
need them and will make everything so we will have grate Vacation. The only
down side was that we had to leave and go back to Canada!!!
Ps: this flat have a washing and Drier machines which was very useful!!! -

We really enjoyed our week in Tel Aviv and the wonderful appartment.
The mail-contact with you, Annette and Tali, was really nice and easy all the time. You made us a good offer for 8 nights in your appartment. You were always helpful and very friendly!
We had everything we needed, even more than that. The equipment is perfectly arranged, and we often stayed "at home" in the evenings, cooking, watching tv, hanging around, because we just liked being there.
The appartment is top located in a very nice area with bars and cafés, supermarkets and everything you need. To the beach, it is about 20 min. walk, which we really enjoyed, because we liked the city so much.
The only thing, which didn'nt work, was the W-Lan. But we didn't know why. It wasn't such a big problem, so it didn't matter to us.
We were really happy this week in Tel Aviv and we are looking forward coming again soon!

the apartment is located in one of the best place of Tel aviv (near from
Basel street) with all the conveniences and a very trendy decoration ;
For all our needs , Annette and Tali (the managers) were always very reactive
and professional .
it was really a pleasure to the " Tel Avivi" way of life in this location ( not far
from Dizengoff sreet and from the beach ) in a very pleasant neighborhood
(cafe and restaurants at 2 minutes) . if you have a car don't hesitate to ask
to Tali where you can park it ( very difficult in the street) ;
For all the rest we highly recommend this apartment and we will be back soon
