This is an ideal place for a couple to stay. The apartment is beautifully designed and well equipped. There is everything you need to cook, a tv alcove with a couch, and a large balcony with two lounge chairs. But you won't spend that much time there, because you are right in the heart of Tel aviv. The street is a historic one, with three museums. It is a few minutes from the beach, from Carmel market, and from trendy Sheinkin Street, with it's cafes and boutiques. You can even walk to Jaffa in half an hour. Just perfect!

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It lies in the center and is very quiet. Major places and attractions, such as Beach, marina, Sheikin Street, Jaffa, market, shops, supermarkets, etc. are well within walking distance. The apartment is with great taste and attention to detail. The roof terrace is just wonderful. There is also a very kind and helpful host. We enjoy the days here and very happy to have found this beautiful place.

CornwallA Warm Welcome To Tel aviv!
Left on 10/10/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We arrived in Bialik Street at Vera's apartment and felt at home imeediately as Bialik Street is very quiet and peaceful. Vera was there to meet us and the apartment on the top floor was an oasis after our flight.
On arrival there were provisions of bread, milk, water, jams and other luxuries along with teas and coffees! The apartment was fantastic in its location and its view towards the sea, a mere 5 minute gentle walk away.
Being well equipped with a fantastic roof terrace ( no need to feel guilty to go to the beach everyday) for sunbathing, days can be spent there enjoying the sunshine on the sun loungers and also the shade from the blinds provided.
There is plenty to do in the area and Vera is on hand to share local delights to go and see and lovely bars and cafes to visit, one being the cafe on the corner of Bialik Street, a 2 minute walk.
We had a fantastic time at Vera's, so much so that we are going back next year to enjoy 'our apartment' for another couple of weeks.
Thank you for everything. X -

Left on 09/26/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We stayed at Vera's place for 1 week. We were happily surprised when we arrived late on a Saturday night as the appartment is much better in the flesh as compared to the photos.
We were greeted with Juice, cheese, bread, fruit from Vera which made us feel v welcome. We sat on the rooftop and were serenaded by live Jazz music that was being played at a one off concert at the museum down the road. Lovely.
Our son had his own bed and Vera had arranged for beach toys and a blackboard for him to play with. V thoughtful.
We enjoyed our breakfasts on the rooftop and napping on the lovely sunlounges!
Easy to spend lots of time in the appartment as with the balcony feels v spacey.
Vera was v keen to help us with any trips we wanted to do or tips of where to eat which were welcomed by us.
Location is great - 7 mins to the beach and right next to the trendy Sheinken Street and Carmel Souk for fresh food. We walked to Jaffa on our second night and it was such a pleasant walk - not far at all!
All in all would highly recommend. -

Left on 09/13/2012 for a stay in September 2012
This roof top studio apartment was amazing. Great for 1,2 or even 3 people at a push. The double bed was extremely comfortable. Sofa and other areas very relaxing. A great shower with a champagne head. Everything worked in the apartment. There is a large balcony with a view of the sea and the white city. One of the best areas to be in Tel aviv. A few minutes walk to either the beach or Disengoff Street (The main shopping St). A few seconds from the apartment is Cafe Bialik, which is good for all meals and has a great atmosphere and fashionable crowd. I would say 15 out of 10 on this one !

Princeton Junction, New JerseyOutstanding Vacation Rental
Left on 08/07/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We stayed at Vera's apartment for two weeks this past June - July while visiting family and friends in Tel aviv. Located on Bialik Street noted for it's Bauhaus architecture, Bialik Street is very quiet and only about 40 yards from allenby Street where you have access to cabs, sheruts and buses. Within walking distance are lots of cafes, shopping, Bank Leumi, the Hakarmel Market (Shuk Hakarmel), and on Tuesdays and Fridays the Nachalat Binyamin arts and crafts market. The beach and boardwalk are a short walk away.
When we arrived, there was fresh fruit, cold juice and yogurt waiting for us. Vera got us settled and offered us assistance on anything we needed from sightseeing to shopping to getting around.
As for the apartment, Vera did not spare any expense to make it a wonderful place to relax and make it your home away from home. The apartment is decorated with many interesting items that Vera acquired in her travels. There isn't an elevator, but there is a luggage lift to get your bags up and down from the apartment. The bathroom is modern and roomy. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make a snack or a full dinner. Everything was in fine working order (i.e. A/C, TV Cable service, washer, dryer, appliances, free WI/FI). The rooftop terrace with its table and chairs and chaise lounges is a great place to get some sun and later to enjoy the evening breeze. There is also a retractable awning if you want some shade.
When it was time to leave, Vera came to our rescue to get us a cab to take us to the airport, as the one we had previously arranged for did not show up.
The property details shown in the photos on Trip advisor are exactly what you get and even nicer in person. You would be hard pressed to find a more gracious, attentive and accommodating hostess. We would not hesitate to recommend Vera's apartment to anyone looking for a clean, well-located, wonderful place to stay. -

LondonFabulous, perfect apartment
Left on 06/19/2012 for a stay in June 2012
This apartment was one of the highlights of our trip. Location is perfect (on a quiet, leafy street but in central Tel aviv, and 5 mins walk to beach) but the apartment itself is the really amazing thing. The pictures don't do it justice: it is stylish, characterful and immaculate, with everything we could need. The amazing terrace was a particular highlight - huge and beautiful, with views to the sea. We loved sitting out there watching the sunset. Vera welcomed us warmly (even though we arrived before 7am!) and had thoughtfully provided tea, coffee, juice, bread, yoghurts and a delicious cake. She was very helpful throughout our stay with advice about things to see and do, and really went out of her way to show us around and help us out. If we come to Tel aviv we will definitely stay here again - it was infinitely nicer (and cheaper) than a hotel. I can't imagine how it could be improved - it was absolutely perfect. The warmth of the hospitality, and the beauty and comfort of the apartment, are really special. Thank you Vera!

Left on 05/11/2012 for a stay in May 2012
Of the or so apartments I have rented in Israel, this is my favorite. The apartment is lovely, attractive, clean, and comfortable. The view from the porch is amazing; one can watch the sea set into the Mediteranean as well observe the city full of life all around you. And, the neighborhood is in the heart of the city. There is so much to experience right there! Great resturaunts, shops etc. in edition Vera is also a great hostess.. She is more than happy to answer question and in general help make your stay as good as possible. There are only two things that could be a problem; you need to be mobile as it is on the roof up a few flights of stairs (5 I think) and it can be a little noisy - you after all in the center of the city - but the street it is on is relatively quiet and amazing itself. For me the apartment and my experience there was a 10 out of 10.

The location is perfect. Bialik is a quiet street yet minutes from the Carmel Market, Nahalat Binyamin and lots of other attractions and great restaurants. -

This rooftop apartment on Bialik St. is amazing. It's a quiet street, which is centrally located within walking distance to markets, shopping, restaurants and transportation. The apartment itself is decorated well, and very clean. The rooftop terrace is the best, and we enjoyed many meals and drinks out there.
Vera, the owner lives in the building and was extremely helpful and friendly. When we asked, she provided suggestions and directions to all the sights that shouldn't be missed in this wonderful country.
Although the building lacks an elevator, the "Luggage Lift" delivers your bags to the apartment patio efficiently and is easy to operate.
We stayed in this apartment for a month and found it to be exactly what we were looking for-quiet, convenient, clean and with many amenities. We recommend this "Bialik apartment" highly and guarantee that you will love it. -

Riga, LatviaA perfect vacation rental in superb location
Left on 01/14/2012 for a stay in January 2012
On one of the most charming streets in Tel aviv, central yet quiet, totally authentic and with a creative twist, this place is value for money and a pleasure to stay at.
Vera's apartment is by far the best vacation rental I've seen yet. Usually my experience has been that people have put cheaper amenities and furnishings and compromised on quality in places they rented out for short-term stays. Even though this place is not the cheapest in Tel aviv, you get what you pay for - and even slightly more. It's very personal, comfortable, with quality taps and shower, even the tableware was beautiful. In Israel, I got used to living on a somewhat simpler and less clean side - and this place was cleaner than any hotel I've stayed at.
The service was impeccable. Thank you so much, Vera, I have had an incredible time in Tel aviv! -

Left on 10/03/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful apartment for 10 nights in September. From the moment Vera welcomed us on arrival until our vacation ended we loved every minute of our stay. The apartment was very comfortable (a home from home) and was a lot larger inside than we had envisaged. The very large balcony was excellent with a lovely sea breeze in the evening. Every need was catered for with some very nice added touches, not least Vera's very helpful advice, and most importantly it was central and very safe, with everything (shops, restaurants, transport etc) all close to hand. Bialik Street is a lovely tree lined street and we enjoyed the experience of living locally. (Vera's tree of course was the belle of the ball). We would most definitely stay here again and indeed hope to return in the future.

ParisOur home in Tel aviv
Left on 09/26/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Beautiful flat, perfectly located in the famous and artistic Bialik Street, an area lively at any time of the day, appreciated particularly by young people and artists.
You can walk by foot to the beach, the food and craft market, most of the best restaurants and bars and the main areas in Tel aviv, without ever needing to drive.
The flat is spacious, perfectly clean and very tastefully decorated by the owner who is a painter passionate about collecting rare objects coming from all over the world as well as plants and flowers (the building is surrounded by some rare trees that she planted a long time ago).
The evenings are cool and peaceful on the large terrace facing the sea and one can enjoy the sunset and the sea breeze.
The owner reserves the warmest of welcomes to her guests and has thought about one being hungry, thirsty or feeling like having a treat the moment they arrive. She speaks English and French, is always available and ready to inform you about anything going on in town or for helping out with anything.
We shall go back to Tel aviv and we already have our home.

Left on 05/31/2010 for a stay in May 2010
We spent 4 nights in Vera's apartment earlier in May and had a great time. Location is excellent in a quiet, charmful, tree-lined street, and very close to both the beautiful Tel aviv beaches and the lively areas of Dizengoff, Shabazy and Rothschild boulevard, with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops, bars and nightclubs. The apartment is very well laid-out, nicely decorated, and spotlessly clean. There's everything you need if you want to cook and eat in, after shopping for fresh products at the nearby Carmel market. And best of all is the large terrace with almost 360 degree views on the city and the sea. It is facing West and this makes for memorable sunsets! We look forward to coming back soon and highly recommend Vera's appartment.

I´m staying now on this beautiful roof suite, enjoing every moment of my stay. I arrived with a recommendation of a friend and every word has come true!
Even better: the interior with all its beautiful furniture , the kitchen with all the facilities you may need. Including the flat screen TV, the internet connection and the roof terrace is like a dream. Every day I drink my coffe here watching the blue sea and feeling the breeze coming directly from the sea. I can take a rest under the sky or under the sunshade. Everything was done with love and thinking about the guest.
The suite is located in the best street in Tel Aviv: Bialik is an historic street with original Bauhaus-Buildings including 3 museums: The Bialik House, the Reuven Rubin Museum and the old municiplity building which is also turned to be a City Museum. The street is in the center of the old city and walking distance to everywhere. For example going to the beach takes me 5 minutes.
Although it is in the center it is very quite and I hear the birds singing.
And the owner lady assists you with anything you need!
I would like always to come here again for sure! -
