Wow! I had very low expectations, especially upon arriving at the building. Older, worn looking, but open the apartment door and you are in another world! The apartment was sleek, beautiful and spotless. Our host thoughtfully provided us with an abundance of clean towels, a fully stocked kitchen, and there was coffee, milk and condiments waiting for us.(Not to mention a lovely bottle of wine.) The location was excellent. An easy walk (once you learn your way around) to the beach, to shopping, markets, etc. I strongly advise against renting a car in Tel aviv, as parking is next to impossible, many streets dead end or are one way, and the city is definitely not laid out in a grid. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt like it was an excellent value. If I had to make any negative comment it is that there really needs to be some kind of enclosure around the shower (but since I wasn't cleaning, it really wasn't that big of a deal.) I believe the owner intends to address the issue. The appliances were topnotch, and everything you could think of was there for cooking. There is a laundry service (1 day) across the street and pizza and breakfast on each corner. The owner was available any time we had a question, and eager to help. Enthusiastic thumbs up from our family of four!
