Ski-in/out convenience in winter and by river and river trail in summer!
Bedding: Queen bed, and a queen plus double bed.
From the 2nd floor outdoor walkway, enter the living room where there is a flat screen TV w/DVD, CD player, and views of the ski hill. The full kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area are open to the room. On this level is one bedroom with views toward the river, queen bed and full bathroom.
Upstairs is the master suite with a queen bed and a double bed, TV, en-suite bathroom with shower/tub combo and a great balcony overlooking the ski area and lift #7.
Cimarron Lodge is located with ski-in/out... access to lift 7 (Coonskin lift) in Telluride. The building has an underground garage with parking available on a first-come-first-serve basis, two common outdoor hot tubs and coin-operated laundry facility, and there is also a ski rental facility and a coffee shop.

The unit #27 was in very good condition and clean. The unit was within a very short distance to the lift and ticket window. We had a two bedroom 2 bath unit that fit our needs. Parking was provided. I would recommend this unit and this complex for closeness to the slopes. The only issue I had was that the kitchen cooking pots, silverware and serving utensils could have been upgraded. They were lacking.
Great town, condo and resort

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone considering a stay in Telluride. The easy walk to Coonskin lift was the best part of staying in this condo. The Telluride town shuttle has a pick up point in front of the condominium so you don't need to drive your car anywhere once you park. Great selection of places to eat and shop and ski. Something for everyone! Read more

We really enjoyed this condo. It is conveniently located at the base of lift #7. The first days of our trip, none of the runs under that lift were open so we had to download to get back to the condo (a breathtaking experience). Some days the line to download was quite lengthy. Nice hot tubs.
The alpine Lodging office did not provide much info upon check-in. They didn't know there was an underground parking garage. They were very responsive when the front doorknob came off and got someone out there immediately to fix it. We also didn't realize there was a heater in the entry way until they turned it on when they brought fresh towels mid-week (which we didn't know would happen.) I think the facility manager could do a better job of knowing about the facility and providing helpful information.
We were on the second floor; no elevator that we were told of but that was not a problem for us.
Getting in and out of the garage is a bit unpleasant due to the angle of the ramp. We scraped the back end every time - even unloaded with no passengers.

While I received excellent service from Telluride alpine Lodging, I would not stay in this unit again. No central air, carpets that are in extreme need of cleaning, "shabby" living room furniture, plastic dinnerware, no more than two(2) matching glasses of any size other than some wine glasses, and the unit has definitely had "smokers". The master bedroom blanket had some 6-12 "burn" holes. While we enjoyed our trip to Telluride, Cimarron Lodge #27 at almost $ 275.00 per night provides very minimal value. Read more

Thank you for pointing out the problems that you had during your stay at Cimarron Lodge 27. That is not the normal condition of this condo. We work with the homeowner to make sure the condo is great shape for guests. The carpets have since been cleaned and the kitchen has been restocked. This condo, like all of our condos is non-smoking. Since Telluride is at such a high elevation, very few properties have air conditioning. We are lucky to have mild temperatures in the summer and it cools down at night. Unless we are having unusually hot weather, fans are usually enough to make it very comfortable.

This condo could use a little Freshening. It definitely needs a stock pot! Placemats would be nice. The oven control knob could be a hazard as the lettering has worn off and not easily read. The condo has the very bare essentials. Read more

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay in Cimarron Lodge 27. The owner of this condo has taken your suggestions to heart and has spent $2500 to modernize the kitchen including a new stove and restocking utensils. We hope you come back for another visit so you can take advantage of these improvements.
