Ski-in/out convenience and walking distance to downtown - Cimarron Lodge is a great location for every season!
Bedding: Queen bed, split king bed (can be 2 twins or a king bed) and a queen sofa sleeper. Pet-Friendly.
Enter this condo on the 2nd floor accessed by stairs or a ramp and walk into a small mud room. On your left is the 2nd bedroom with a split king bed, TV with VCR and a separate bathroom in the hallway with a shower/tub combo. There is also a closet with a washer/dryer combo. I like the condo (I used to own it). It is extremely convenient to the Coonskin lift and rentals and lift tickets are immediately available there. I don't understand why it now has twin beds in the master bedroom, though. It is also somewhat awkward that you have to check in downtown and that there are no longer any places to get food or drink at the base of Coonskin

The twin beds in the master are actually extra long twins that can be made into a King bed with a coupler. The new couplers are actually very comfortable. If you didn't know, you would never guess it is made from two twins, no seam! We look forward to welcoming you back on your next Telluride vacation.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cimarron Lodge #4 and highly recommend it to other visitors. The condo was clean upon arrival and had plenty of room for our family to stretch out. We have already talked about returning to Telluride and want to stay there again. The proximity to downtown and the gondola are very convienent. Our weekend trip was so much fun and very relaxing knowing we had a nice condo to call home for the weekend!

The staff gave me wrong directions to the condo, wrong info on it's location, and wrong info on parkiing. Come on guys...! The condo is a great ski in/out place, but in the summer, it's a little out of the way. It was extremely hot. Fans helped a little but there's no way we could have slept upstairs. Next time I will be sure and check that a unit has a/C. The furnishing were very nice, and the stereo and TV were great. Also the back deck was nice. For a dog-friendly place, it was very nice and clean.

Beautiful facility, very close to Coonskin lift. Very hot when we first checked in but that was easily fixed by opening the patio door and windows.

spacious and well-situated with great view of mountain. nicely stocked kitchen and convenient layout of condo; can easily house two couples or a family with kids. there are two problems that need mentioning:1. heat!! so much and seemingly impossible to turn off-actually needed to open windows to cool place off 2. No blinds in main room- there is a pullout couch, but no blinds, so morning light makes it impossible to use as a sleeping area.

Place is nice...positives: close shuttle, lift access (If open), roomy, nice view of the mountain, covered parking, hot tubs were great, good location to cofee& ski shop, good amenities for preparing meals, washer & dryer unit worked well.
Opportunities for improvement...bedding was uncomfortable, thermostat was on full blast the whole time (couldnt turn it down) and the humidifiers didnt work, lift was closed (poor snow), workers congregate early (5:30 a.m.) just below balcony, radio had no port for iPod (old electronics).
All in all, I woudl stay here again, but I would bring my own pillows, ipod speakers, humidifiers, and earplugs.Response from Telluride Alpine Lodging - 01/03/2011

We enjoyed the #4 Condo very much. The deck in back looked out over the mountain and you could see the stars at night. The vaulted ceiling in the great room made it very open and relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked.
The only difficulty we had was the filter on the kitchen sink faucet quit working during our stay ... we reported it but it wasn't repaired. however, the sliding glass door screen was stuck and they repaired it immediately so I really feel the message we left about the sink didn't get through to maintenance.
