Personal Message From The Homeowner: After visiting Telluride for 25 years we finally bought a condo with a great view that we can use and let other use. We've owned it for the last 20 years and love going to Telluride to enjoy it. Hopefully you will enjoy it also as we do.

We had an amazing stay! The location was ideal - yards away from ski rental shop, lift ticket purchase, and chair 7. We took advantage of the hot tub each night and the washer/dryer was a life saver. We enjoyed the short (approx. 1/2 mi.) walk into town for dinner, and also tried out the shuttle bus, a faster, easier way to reach the ski school via the gondola. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking necessities, and there were plenty of towels/blankets. Our only tiny issues were the weakness of the wifi signal, master bed was very firm, and we could not figure out how to lower the heat despite turning the thermostat as low as it could go. There were portable fans, however, and we were able to open windows in the beautiful weather. Checking in was a breeze and everyone was as nice as could be. We will be back!
Great access to nice powder ski

At our arrival at nigth we got lost by 125 north. We were gpoing on the other side of the montain.
Keys was very easy to find but not the garage.
After finding our way, all was good & clean.
Phone access to the office was easy and helpfull.

The unit was stuffy, without any airflow. Had to open the sliding doors and sleep next to them. The bedroom blinds did not block the lights at night and hall lights come on every time others are in the hall.

I like the condo (I used to own it). It is extremely convenient to the Coonskin lift and rentals and lift tickets are immediately available there. I don't understand why it now has twin beds in the master bedroom, though. It is also somewhat awkward that you have to check in downtown and that there are no longer any places to get food or drink at the base of Coonskin Read more

We are so pleased that you were able to come back and stay in a condo that you used to own! That is really cool. Thank you for your review. The twin beds in the master are actually extra long twins that can be made into a King bed with a coupler. The new couplers are actually very comfortable. If you didn't know, you would never guess it is made from two twins, no seam! We look forward to welcoming you back on your next Telluride vacation.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cimarron Lodge #4 and highly recommend it to other visitors. The condo was clean upon arrival and had plenty of room for our family to stretch out. We have already talked about returning to Telluride and want to stay there again. The proximity to downtown and the gondola are very convienent. Our weekend trip was so much fun and very relaxing knowing we had a nice condo to call home for the weekend! Read more

Thank you for your great review of Cimarron Lodge #4. We completely agree. You do a great job of illustrating the advantage of staying in a vacation home as opposed to a hotel. We hope to welcome you again soon.
Comfortable and satisfying

Great location for a winter stay

The staff gave me wrong directions to the condo, wrong info on it's location, and wrong info on parkiing. Come on guys...! The condo is a great ski in/out place, but in the summer, it's a little out of the way. It was extremely hot. Fans helped a little but there's no way we could have slept upstairs. Next time I will be sure and check that a unit has a/C. The furnishing were very nice, and the stereo and TV were great. Also the back deck was nice. For a dog-friendly place, it was very nice and clean. Read more

Thank you for your review of Cimarron Lodge 4. The large south facing windows do make it pretty warm in that condo! We look forward to seeing you on your next visit

spacious and well-situated with great view of mountain. nicely stocked kitchen and convenient layout of condo; can easily house two couples or a family with kids. there are two problems that need mentioning:1. heat!! so much and seemingly impossible to turn off-actually needed to open windows to cool place off 2. No blinds in main room- there is a pullout couch, but no blinds, so morning light makes it impossible to use as a sleeping area.
Affordable place with slope access

Place is nice...positives: close shuttle, lift access (If open), roomy, nice view of the mountain, covered parking, hot tubs were great, good location to cofee& ski shop, good amenities for preparing meals, washer & dryer unit worked well.
Opportunities for improvement...bedding was uncomfortable, thermostat was on full blast the whole time (couldnt turn it down) and the humidifiers didnt work, lift was closed (poor snow), workers congregate early (5:30 a.m.) just below balcony, radio had no port for iPod (old electronics).
All in all, I woudl stay here again, but I would bring my own pillows, ipod speakers, humidifiers, and earplugs. Read more

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay in Cimarron Lodge. It sounds like you were here before we had great snow this year. We hope you can come for another visit because the conditions ave greatly improved. Thank you also for your advise on the pillows, humidifiers, etc. We will pass those on to the homeowner.

Spacious Lovely Condo

We enjoyed the #4 Condo very much. The deck in back looked out over the mountain and you could see the stars at night. The vaulted ceiling in the great room made it very open and relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked.
The only difficulty we had was the filter on the kitchen sink faucet quit working during our stay ... we reported it but it wasn't repaired. however, the sliding glass door screen was stuck and they repaired it immediately so I really feel the message we left about the sink didn't get through to maintenance. It is a lovely condo. Read more

We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay in Cimarron Lodge 4. We love the view of the ski mountain from the deck. I am sorry to hear that he faucet wasn't repaired during your stay, it sounds like it slipped through the cracks, especially since the screen door was repaired. Please accept our apologies and we look forward to seeing you on your next stay.
