Location perfect. Great value. Studio was spacious. It's not luxury and really is basic but it's clean and has everything you will need including a full kitchen and dishwasher. All the faults mentioned in previous reviews prior to Feb 2014 were fixed. So, we have nothing to complain about. We had an 18 month old, so, the washer and dryer came in handy too (he doesn't have as much winter clothes as we do). We loved our stay and would stay here again!
Very nice location but run down unit

The location of this condo in Mountain Village is excellent and made up by far for the flaws that exist inside the unit. The main issue is the uncomfortable sofa sleeper(I know they are never good) and the murphy bed was broken at the base. The TV was very outdated (it had a VHS) and small and broken. They took 2 days to replace it..we were there 4 nights. Bring your own tissues and toliet paper the ones provided are sandpaper! Washer and dryer worked well and was helpful to have in unit. This complex is so easy to run in and out of because its only 2 floors, elevators worked well and were quick. We had other family members in other units that were much nicer and updated with better furniture so we had something to compare to. For the price and for peak season I would stay again but come more prepared with better tolietries. When prices go down in summer I will choose another venue w more luxuries. Read more

This place was great. It was right on the square in Mountain Village and so convenient to shopping, restaurants and the lifts. Perfect for a couple. Loved that it had an elevator and washer/dryer. Read more

A Very Nice Stay

As the title says, our time spent at the Chamonix was very nice, and the room was great. Two negatives: 1) dark halls made it difficult to "code in" to the room 2) having to go over to Telluride to check in was annoying. Thx, Dave Read more

Thank you for your review. Just so you know, we do supply flashlight keychains that we leave in the rooms for this purpose. It can get dark in those hallways. We hope we can book your stay for next year.

The condo was hard to find first of all, management company did not give good directions. Condo has a 12 inch T.V. which is about twenty years outdated. The large deck appears to still be under construction with no patio furniture and tiles all around the base loose and falling off. Location was nice in Mountain Village, and the Bluegrass festival was very good. Read more

We appreciate your feedback. The tiles have been recently repaired and we did put in a request with the homeowner that he needs to upgrade to a flat sceen.
It was convenient

No major issues... It was confusing figuring out where I was supposed to park inside the garage, as it didn't seem to be particularly well-documented (after I described what I thought was the correct spot to the guy on the phone, he said he *thinks* it's right). The room was clean, but had some maintenance issues... The light in the bathroom stopped working, and the toilet backed up, which we had to call someone in late at night to fix. The fan was also entirely too noisy.
Really, this is a decent value room, but it's not posh. I've stayed in more comfortable rooms in MV, though not as convenient as this one. If you're just looking for a place to sleep in MV, this might not be a terrible option. Read more

In this day and age, I would recommend the owners spluge and purchase a larger TV. Bare bones but met basic needs for two guys looking for a place to crash close to the slopes. Please update the information in your data book about this condo. It does have free wifi, despite what I was told. Some minor problems with the unit that I wrote up on the maintenance form. Shower faucet needs to be fixed, toilet paper holder needs a spring, right side blinds need to be fixed. Other than that an enjoyable stay. Read more

The email regarding staying at the condo didn't specify where it was, or how to park - no actual address or description even. Called the staff to find out - spoke to several different people, and none knew. Ended up in a pay parking area while I figured it out, when the condo had its own parking. Had to call several times to find it, park at it, and get the door code. Could have been easily handled in one simple email. Really poorly organized... Read more

a centrally located (Mountain Village) in easy walking distance to gondola,
A small place, fully equipped, that would work wonderfully for one or two
persons. Large sitting deck and short walk to hot tub are nice additions.
Wonderfully executed architectural interior of openness and interest.
Needs some attention to small things: bathroom sink faucet (hard to turn on)
needs a little lubrication... washer/dryer light cord needs an extension...
hot tub could use some instructions on how to use and some lighting(that may
have been there but was not discovered).
Telluride Alpine Lodging: very friendly people and a pleasure to deal with... Read more

Thank you for your review of Le Chamonix C. The location is great for getting around Mountain Village and the access to town via the gondola is very easy. I?m glad that you enjoyed the deck, hot tub and condo. We will make sure that the faucet is fixed and well pass on your recommendation to the homeowners association about the hot tub lighting. We look forward to your next visit!
