On the river, just a 5-minute walk from historic downtown, this 1-bedroom/1-bath condo has a queen bed in the master and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
On the third floor, enter into the sitting area with a sleeper sofa and flat screen TV/VCR. Further into the condo there is a dinette with seating for 4 and kitchenette (microwave, 4-burner stove top, narrow oven and full fridge). Ahead is the bathroom that has a tub/shower combo. In the bedroom is a queen bed, flat screen TV and balcony looking south toward the San Miguel River. There is a private washer and dryer in this condo. The complex has a year-round swimming pool and c...ommon outdoor hot tub. There is parking in the private lot. The common laundry room has new coin-operated washers and dryers. This unit does not have a phone!!!

I enjoyed the location of this small condo unit. Overlooking the river and the pool was delightful.
The only negative comment would be for the owners to update/replace the much worn/"ratty" bed comforter which is dirty and coming apart. Other than that, the unit is fine for a few days stay.
It is perfect for one person and two small children but not a larger family.
Thank you for your review. We will pass this information onto the owner and try and get some updates made before next season.

Perfect place to stay right in town!

Having booked our room in advance this year, I was thrilled to get the online check-in instructions, so that we were able to go straight to our room without having to drive by the office first, which is just what we needed after 9 hours on the road. This 1 bedroom condo is perfect for a romantic weekend. The kitchenette is full stocked (although housekeeping left cone-filters for the coffeemaker and it needs the flat to keep from overflowing), and it is great to have a washer and dryer just in case. The hot tub downstairs is perfect after walking around town all day. The people at the office are very nice and helpful. I will definitely book here again! My only other item is that the bedroom gets light! I solve the problem by hanging a towel over the wood shutters.
Way too expensive for what you geht

Viking Lodge itself is a pretty nice place, located close to Mainstreet and to the river. But: Appartement 310 is a mess. It is quite small, no way you can ever have 4 people in there. The interieur is probably 20 years old, filthy and worn out. The cleaning staff gave their best to keep it clean, but with furniture like this there was no chance. I left the appartement after two days and found me another place. Read more

Two things every traveler wants in a room, a good shower (the shower has very weak water pressure. And good bedding (the linens were very worn with spots)and the bedroom really needs a thorough vacuuming (behind the bed is months worth of dust and detritus, yuk). There were no chairs at the table; I had to use an outside deck chair. Read more

My fiance and I woke up Saturday morning to find 1/4 inch of rain water in our tent, our canopy collapsed, and our gear soaked. We packed up our campsite and headed into town. The nice people at Telluride aspen Lodging had 1 one-room condo available, and we were checked in and unpacked within an hour. The room was awesome; the bed comfortable, with nice pillows, a kitchen, washer/dryer (which came in handy with all our rain-soaked clothes), and two tvs. We stayed for 2 nights, and I will definitely be contacting Telluride aspen Lodging for all future stays, rather than waiting to get rained out of the campground.
