A wonderful place for active families to enjoy the outdoors, this 3-bedroom home is a great one for a small group or large family looking for affordable vacation rentals. In a neighborhood of neo-Victorian homes on the west end of town, it's within walking distance of Lift #7, the high school and Palm Theatre, and one block from the grocery store.

Bedding: Queen, Queen, four twins, double sofa sleeper.

Step up on the front porch, and into the mud room entry way where there are coat hooks, a boot bench and ski rack so you can unload. Proceed into the living room with a gas fireplace, TV, DVD player and stereo. One of the two small... sofas has a pull-out double sleeper. In the full kitchen with adjoining dining area that seats up to 6, you'll find everything you need for meals enjoyed together, including a breakfast bar with 3 stools. Beyond the kitchen on the ground floor is the master bedroom with a queen bed and private bathroom with double sinks, shower/tub combo. This room has a flat screen TV and also has access to the back porch, with a small grassy back yard.

Upstairs in the second bedroom there is another queen bed and TV. In the 3rd bedroom are 4 twin beds with a flat screen TV, game table and a vanity with dual sinks. The shared full bath on the hallway has a shower/tub combo, and the house's washer/dryer.

In front of the home is parking for two cars on the property. Wireless internet is provided.

A WORD FROM THE OWNER: ...Our family has enjoyed our home with its yard and upstairs bedroom that includes enough space for children to play. It is convenient to the grocery store and activities in town, as well as hiking and biking from the valley floor and skiing from Lift #7. Telluride is a wonderful place for active families to enjoy the outdoors....

At one end of the street is the grocery store, and the other is a free in-town shuttle stop. The center of downtown historic Telluride is a 10-15 minute walk, but hiking and biking is practically out the front door. Skiing access is closest at the base of Lift #7, just 1.5 blocks away. But the free shuttle bus swings by every 20 minutes if you prefer Gondola access.
