Mountainside Inn is Telluride's most affordable property, conveniently located along the San Miguel river and just 200 yards to lift #7!
Hotel room with kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, 2-burner stove top, coffee maker and toaster) on ground floor (of 2 floors). This room has a queen bed and a twin bed and private bath with shower only (no tub).

This is a (nearly)no-frills option for people looking to save some money on a hotel stay in town. Within 10-min walk of the gondola to Mountain Village, grocery stores, bars on Main St., with parking, free Wi-Fi, outdoor hot tub, and pillows are comfortable. Free cocoa/tea/coffee/microwave use in the lobby in the morning. Office unstaffs around 5 p.m. and leaves keys for checkin in a box outside if you check in after that. We got a room w/a kitchenette, which had silverware+dishes, pots, microwave, toaster, 2-burner stove, small fridge and freezer slot. If you want to use the hot tub in winter, get one of the rooms in the 100 building -- easier for dashing from tub to indoors! No daily maid service, so look after yourself. There was less than 30" of snow at the resort when we booked, so we got a discount on lodging

We stayed at Mountainside Inn for three nights and had a great experience. The hot tub was just steps from our room #105 and the staff was extremely helpful. Parking was very limited as the parking lot was being paved but that was a temporary situation. The room was small but clean with comfortable beds and had everything we needed including a small kitchenette. We would stay there again.

Small, but clean room. Great location and very close to the lifts, also in town and close to dining. Worked very well for me and ski buddies. Really nice hot tub.

If you awake early and ski all day this place is perfect. Walking distance to gondola and restaurants in the old town of telluride. Cramped for myself and my two teenagers but we were there for the mountains and town. If you want a luxury resort this is not the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mountainside Inn. The service was great and even though the place has been around for several years, it is in great shape--real clean. I would recommend at leat a one bedroom suite however. We had one of the one room with kitchenette units. By the fourth night, it was getting a little cramped. But we still extended our stay one night. I highly recommend the place.

Located on riverwalk very close to Telluride. Kitchenette was teeny, cleaning every other day...buzzing fan in bathroom.

Mountainside Inn was very well located - we could walk to everything. Trying to be prepared based on what others said, I still had a difficult time locating the check in office. While adequate, the room was extremely small and had no air-conditioning. We did have a fan but being on the the first floor we were a little nervous leaving the window open all night but it all went well.

Our check in office can certainly be a trick to find seeing as how the construction to the left of our buildings makes it seem like you can't enter.
