Mountainside Inn is Telluride's most affordable property, conveniently located along the San Miguel river and just 200 yards to lift #7!
Hotel room with kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, 2-burner stove top, coffee maker and toaster) on top floor (of 2 floors) with stair access. This room has a queen bed and a twin bed and private bath with shower only (no tub).

We've been staying at Mountain Side Inn for many years and have never been disappointed. You can't beat it for its reasonable rates, access to lift 7 and all the shops and restaurants in town. While it is not a luxury accommodation, it is the best deal in town if you want a pleasant, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay.

For the 2nd year in a row, my husband and I have stayed at Mountainside for the weekend of the Imogene Pass Run. It is perfectly located against, the mountain, so very quiet, and walking distance to the store, and walking distance to my early morning bus to Ouray for the race. I spend all day friday, hanging out and resting, and the quietude, DVD player, and kitchentette provide a perfect little "home" for the day. After the race the clean large Hot Tub was a perfect remedy for my aching body!

The room is quite big and quiet. They cleaned the room once during our 5 night stay which was as agreed on. Front desk couldn't find a key for me and was generally quite unhelpful.

Ran out of tissues and toilet paper. Reservation was for three but room only had dinette seating for two. Only one parking permit per reservation created inconveniences since third person in reservation arrived separately in 2nd vehicle.
Was nice and quiet.
Was clean.

Mountain Side Inn is probably the only reasonably priced accomodation in Telluride. Luxurious they are not. But for the money, you get good, clean rooms that are super convenient - only a few hundred feet from lift 7 and just a few blocks from all the great restaurants in the Town of Telluride. And it is in beautiful location right on the San Miguel River, which is especially great in summer or winter. We've been staying here for over 10 years now - 2 ski trips and one summer trip every year and we'll be back

As long as you are not entertaining anyone, the Mountainside Inn is all that you need. Ski in/out is convenient for lunch and resting your tired body after skiing this mountain. Clean facility, large hot tub and very convenient to downtown shopping and restaurants.

Both my wife and I met many friendly people in Telluride and we were very pleased with the experience in Telluride. Unfortunately, at the Inn when requesting a copy of our bill the rude behavior of a young woman at the front desk at Mountain+side Inn tainted the experience.
