The online photos are helpful but don't do justice to all the lovely decorating touches in the apt. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the neighborhood was very safe and quiet, yet close to major attractions and the freeways. The only downside was having to pack up and leave after staying for a week!

I slept well from the first night. Wayne and Nancy provided everything I needed. They show attention to detail. The apartment is clean, cozy, and secure. The location is great! Between visiting family, I walked to the Tempe library and the Pyle Center - there is a gym and exercise classes, and bridge games on Tuesday and Thursdays. I walked to Fry's grocery store, Sweet Tomatoes lovely buffet, CVS, and a Nail Salon - just to name a few easily walkable locations. Driving to South Mountain for numerous hiking trails was only 12- 15 minutes! Shippy Chalet is highly recommended!

In short, I have already booked my stay for one year from now as i go to Tempe yearly.
The cottage was perfect. The perfect size. Quiet and very comfortable. Well decorated and had everything you may need to stay for a few days or even a few months.
Location was even better. a Great quiet neighbourhood that is close to grocery stores, and main roads to get around easily.
the Cherry on top was that they were kind enough to stock the fridge with milk and breakfast goods. For that price was definitely not expecting that. -

My son attends aSU, so the location in Tempe was ideal. The studio apartment allowed my wife and I to have a home away from home - all the needs met. Would highly recommend the apartment; we plan to use it again!

I travel a lot and often don't get my monies worth! But this property was beyond my wildest hopes. Clean, comfortable, nicely finished with all necessary amenities etc.

When I have to go to Tempe, my first choice is to stay at the Shippy Chalet on Geneva Street. I heard that the Quakers recommended a place to become connected that allowed you to sleep as long as you needed, gave you healthy food to eat, and had a garden to work in and to sit in. When I went to the Shippy Chalet, that is what I found exactly. The bed is comfortable and the window shades are dark. The breakfast is healthy in the refrigerator and on the shelves. A garden is outside where one can putz or sit in the sunshine. I always feel revived after staying at the Shippy Chalet. It is clean and remains clean during my stay. Peaceful surroundings add to the serenity. Finally, the Shippy Chalet is decorated with elegance with contemporary decorations and appliances.
The most disappointing comment I can make is when I call to reserve the place to find someone else has acquired it before me. On the other hand, I am most delighted when I can "Come right in."
Believe me, the Shippy Chalet is so popular, that you will have to reserve in advance.
