This very nice and clean home has 3 Bed. 2.5 ba w/ 2 car garage. The home has skylights, vaulted ceilings, tiled floors and located in quiet area of Tempe, next to large park. We're located N of Baseline and within 1 mile of the I-10 Freeway and the US-60 Interstate for easy access to other cities in Arizona. The home newly furnsihed last year w/ very nice furniture, 2 flat screen TV'S, WiFi, Cable, Internet, Gas appliances and this is a very nice home. Restuarants less than 1/2 mile and hiking nearby. This home is located approx. 6 blks N of Baseline at Calle Los Cerros and E of 48th St. We are on the corner of Calle Los Cerros and Desiree Ln. just N of Vineyard. We are in a quiet area of Tempe, next to large Park. Market is less than 1 mile away; Chase bank 1/2 mi. Restaurants very close. Arizona Mills Mall about 1.5 Miles of less. We are within 1 miles of the US-60 Intersate and I mile to the I-10 Freeway. Very easy for freeway access. South Mountain is great for hikiing and less than 5 miles. Lots of Golf courses nearby, public and private. Tempe is the home of ASU- many travelers like to visit Mill Avenue and Tempe TownLake

My wife and I and another couple stayed in this house to watch a few days of spring training baseball. We were tired of hotels and were looking for a place that was centrally located and could provide us a place to relax. This was one of several homes in the same neighborhood that they rent out.
The house was well furnished and nicely decorated. Everything we could have needed was available to us. Appliances worked well. The house was clean and well-maintained. Even when a light bulb burned out I found some spares bulbs in the laundry room so I didn't need to call someone to replace it.
The location in Tempe near the I-10 freeway made it very easy for us to come and go on Phoenix's extensive freeway system. This is a very modern house in a somewhat older neighborhood. There are no restuarants within walking distance of the house but there is a grocery store a half-mile away and we actually ordered dinner delivered a couple of nights from Venezia's. We only left the house by car so I can't really say much about the immediate neighborhood. Not really a good place to go out for a jog if you're into that - no trails nearby and lots of traffic lights. The front door lock is electronic and a garage door opener is provided so that made things easy.
Wi-fi was provided free but it was intermittent in our particular house (address #2367 Desiree).
Check-in was a piece of cake and the staff was friendly. They do require payment by cashier's check which wasn't possible for us - so they let us use a credit card but tacked on a 3% surcharge.
We would certainly stay here again for future spring training trips.

thank you for taking the time to respond to the home at Colonia Park. I'm sorry I didn't mention that Aunt Chillada's Mexican Restaurant is located less than 1/8 mile on Baseline and is an excellent restaurant if you like Mexican food. The Claim Jumper Restaurant is probably less than 1/2 mi on Basline at the Arizona Mills Mall and it is also an excellent restaurant. Yes, there are no trails to go jobbing but I job about 1-2 miles and since I'm up early, I just go on the streets. Look forward to your returning and I'm glad you had a nice stay.
