The McCollister Haven is a wonderful, deluxe 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home secluded in the trees of Teton Village at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Jackson Hole Wy . This home was built by the founder of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Teton Village. Teton Village is the world renowned ski resort in our area, making McCollister Haven a coveted vacation rental for both winter and summer vacations. A group of 6 (3 couples) who vacation together every 2 years chose McCollister Haven for our rental for a week's stay. Check-in was extremely easy as were directions to the property. Although there were a couple of issues with the home, the property management handled them quickly and efficiently and we were very satisfied with the results. Teton Village is a great location and the home was beautiful. We enjoyed the quiet location and the huge flagstone fireplace. The layout of the home gave each couple plenty of "separate" space. Overall we had a great week.

Very homey but dated. deck was falling apart and we were not told ahead of time not to use it, could have been a very dangerous situation for my family. We rented this unit for our elderly parents as it was stated 2 bedrooms on main level, confusing because to access the living areas, you had to walk up a flight of stairs, exactly what we did not want for them! Clean, but carpet stained , needs replacing. On the upside, great location. One moring a mother bear and 2 cubs were in the driveway, next morning a mother moose and her baby! Until repairs and updates done, would not recommend.

As indicated in my written check-out review, we were very disappointed with this property. It was very outdated for the price we paid, the hot water ran out after 3 showers (the unit sleeps 9), there was insufficient cookware and stemware for 9 people, there was no landscaping, and generally the nightly rate was very over-priced for the quality of the condo. It either needs a major renovation or a discounted price in order to compete with other properties available. I will not recommend this to a friend and will likely write a review on Tripadvisor.
