Description from the owner
2 bedroom 1.5 bath, Sleeps 4 to 6 (1 sofa sleeper)
The Gros Ventre ( say grow vaunt!) is perfectly placed in the heart of Teton Village, just a 5 min walk to the Gondola, Tram and Moose Creek chair lift. Not a ski in and ski out, but as close as one can get in this price point in all of Teton Village. There are several other condo buildings clustered in this area such as Nez Perce, Rendezvous and Sleeping Indian condo buildings. This unit is directly adjacent to the Sundance Swim and Tennis Center which guests have access to for Jacuzzis and a heated pool. There is also a complimentary skier shuttle that runs to and from these condos t...Read more

Boston, MassachusettsHomey, well-equipped, great location

Just right for our family of four. New, well-equipped kitchen when we wanted to cook, plenty of options when we didn't want to, but away from the bustle of Jackson. Clean, homey furnishings were just right after long days gawking at the beauty all around.

This was our first trip to Wyoming. We were welcomed to Jackson Hole with beautiful weather and comfortable lodgings! We especially liked the condos' location which was a stone's throw from the South entrance of Grand Teton Park. After hiking, we liked the pool and whirlpool at the club just down the street. The club also has tennis courts and you can rent equipment. Accommodations in the condo unit were very comfortable. When you go away its nice not to have to live out of a suitcase. Ample dressers and closet space were convenient. Teton Village had plenty of shops and restaurants, but cooking in that kitchen was a money-saver!

This condo is in a terrific location--close to everything in the Village, yet has a private feel because it is on the top floor and the back side of the building. It was so great to walk in and see everything looking new, clean, and fresh with better appliances than I have at home!
Everything about the place was easy, the views were great, and I was just as happy to stay in and relax as I was to make the short walk to the lifts for a fabulous day of skiing. We did some great day trips to cross-country ski trails and spent some time in Jackson Hole. It would be great to come back in the summer to enjoy the National Parks and do some hiking.
It was so great to be able to do laundry right in the condo and the kitchen was super easy to use with a big refrigerator. -

The price and location of this condo really hard to beat. You are a 5 minute walk to the lifts and stores in teton village. It was nice to have a real fireplace that kept the condo nice a warm. The washer and dryer in the condo made life easy. I dig this place on so many levels. I will be staying here next time that I go to jackson.

NYCAmazing Location, Great Deal!
Left on 01/03/2012 for a stay in September 2011
My fiance and I stayed here for a long weekend (which turned in to a full week we liked it so much). The location is perfect, right next to the ski resort, we could walk there to enjoy the restaurants, coffee shops, concerts, etc. Was not quite ski season when we were there but it's so close you could walk to the lifts in a few minutes. It is a much better deal than staying in the resort and has two good sized bedrooms and plenty of living space. And you can park right there, no hassle. Would be ideal for family of 4 or even 5 or 6 if you wanted to use the sleeper couch. Kitchen is large and open, all appliances were brand new. Full cable TV and wifi, plus washer and dryer which came in handy since we stayed longer. The owners made things very easy for us and were super cool about things. Easy drive in to downtown Jackson where there is a ton to do. Tons of non-skiing activities right there - hiking, biking, horseback riding, rafting, fishing, paragliding, etc. Or just looking out over the deck never gets old. Look forward to going back.
