  After exchanging several emails & paying 20% down, no more questions were answered. My daughter was able to view the apt a couple of days before I arrived. She met the maintenance man, not the owner or manager, for a few minutes. She told me it wasn't what we were expecting at all. Since it was too late to find something else, once I arrived, we went to the apt & paid the rest of money to the maintenance man. I was told via email it would be the owner but they were a no show.
  
  1st, the closest metro station is approximately 8 city blocks away. After walking several blocks towards the metro, you start to see some restaurants, groceries, etc. 2nd, the apt is 2 floors up. Website picture of apt is very deceiving. The apt may have looked that way 10 years ago, but now it has dirty curtains, the floor and walls didn't look like they had been scrubbed in years. The TV didn't work, & a broken futon being propped up with a twin size mattress wedged against the wall.
  
  I can't be sure what "sheets" were used but they weren't bedding sheets (fitted and flat sheet). The washer/dryer unit did wash, but didn't dry, so we had to hang and drape clothes over the place. Thankfully, the fan provided did work during our stay (low to mid 80's). There is no air conditioning.
  
  Also, the windows in the website picture makes it look like the apt gets alot of sunshine. But, it overlooks a very narrow courtyard, where there is barely any sunlight coming through.
  
  There was no bulb in the ceiling light until midway through our week. Likewise, a bathroom lightbulb was burnt out and the sink stopper didn't work, neither the owner nor the manager answered their phone nor email we sent. Eventually they emailed that they had to get into the apt to fix the futon for the next people; no mention of our requests.
  
  The apt location is wrong on the map in the website. The star shown is close to Notre Dame, but it's far from it.
  
  No way would I stay there again. It is a dump.

D'abord pour le cadre: appartement superbement meublé et décoré et très fonctionnel et ensuite, pour les prestations haut de gamme et votre accueil et votre disponibilité, à vous et à votre comparse Eugène. Je m'y suis sentie très bien, comme à la maison, et toutes les personnes qui m'y ont rendu visite l'ont trouvé très chaleureux et très confortable. De plus, l'emplacement de l'appartement: en plein centre de Paris est idéal et très bien desservi par plusieurs lignes de bus, de métro et à 5' de la gare SNCF et très proches des commodités et des endroits les plus prisés la capitale: les Champs-Elysées, les Grands Magasins, etc... Cet appartement convient aussi bien pour un séjour de loisirs que pour un séjour professionnel. On notera aussi la capacité d'accueil qui est de 3 à 5 personnes. J'en garde un souvenir mémorable en toute sincérité et je ne manque jamais de le recommander à mes proches et à mes connaissances. Je vous le recommande également à vous autres que je n'ai pas le plaisir de connaître. Je reste en contact avec vous et je vous fais toutes mes amitiés ainsi qu'à Eugène et merci encore pour tout!

  dans le 17e arrondissement de Paris du 2 au 10 août dernier,
  a pleinement répondu à notre attente. Logés avec deux
  adolescents, nous avons trouvé un confort à la hauteur du
  descriptif proposé. En outre, la tranquillité de ce
  quartier, ainsi que la proximité de nombreux commerces nous
  ont grandement facilité le séjour. Côté transports c’était
  aussi l’occasion de découvrir la petite gare du Pont
  Cardinet, très proche de la grande gare St Lazare, qui
  mettait ainsi tous les quartiers de la capitale Ă  deux pas
  de notre hébergement. Nous ne manquons pas de recommander
  cette adresse Ă  nos amis lors de leur passage en France

  I stayed in the apartment for a week. Eric was lovely to deal with, very helpful, and willing to assist. Close to a good variety of restaurants and cafes from which I did sample their food! There is a lovely Indian restaurant in the same street as the apartment and their food is delicious. Train station and bus stop very close, also. Supermarkets are near, making it very convenient. I enjoyed my stay in the apartment. There were towels, kitchen utensils, washing powder for the machine, a fridge, saucepans - all the essentials you require to meet your needs. The apartment was clean, and had an abundance of channels to watch, as well as a stereo to entertain. I would recommend staying here as it was quite cosy and comfortable, and I felt secure, being as I was travelling alone.

  "First nightmare"

  Must take a taxi to get to place. No lift but 3 flight stairs.Interior updated and clean. Kitchen amenities include microwave,pots&pans;,plates,cups, toaster oven refrigerator. Colorful linens but no blankets. Off the main street quite, not idea to be out late at night around there for two girls traveling. Arrangements or set up is very poor or no communication between you and manager.Lack of notification for contact on the other end. Language problem if your american.Terms and agreements unclear.
