Visit the lovely chocolaterie just a few doors down the street and partake in one of the many French delights that will have you admiring the window displays each time you pass. Take the 80 bus to take you directly to the Champs Elysee is about 20 minutes or so.

Left on 04/09/2013 for a stay in April 2013
This apartment is in a wonderful location: Montmartre offers some wonderful walks and characterful places to eat/see. Yetunde (from Feels Like Home in Paris) was exceptionally helpful in coordinating our stay, and in a number of thoughtful touches to improve it e.g. unlimited internet access on the apartment's computer along with PDF guides, walking tours, travel and eating tips, as well as an iphone that has been prepared with useful local apps. Rue Caulincourt (and local side streets) have some wonderful restaurants, bakeries, patisseries, shops etc
The bus stop immediately outside offers convenient, cheap access to central Paris and all its myriad of attractions. Furthermore, the local Metro stop is within 5 minutes walk.

We were extremely pleased with our stay in Paris and would return. We had all of the comforts of home including internet and free phone calls to the states. I questioned that because it seemed too good to be true. We had a welcoming basket filled with goodies. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen adequate and the bathroom modern. Our view out the window allowed us to see all of the shops and activity. The laundry facilities came in handy on more than one occasion. The kitchen contained any supplies that we might need, including spices and herbs. It was just like home, and we would return without question.

Happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Many people are surprised when we say that there are free local and many international calls including the US and Canada for mobile and landline calls but our internet service provides us with internet, Cable TV and phone so it makes no sense for anyone not to offer phone usage in an apartment rental. : )
We look forward to hearing from you again when you plan a return trip to Paris. -

We love this apartment! This is the third time we have stayed here and we really do feel at home here. It has a very cosy feel with all the mod cons and then some. The street is lovely with literally everything is at your doorstep. The bakeries, cafes and restaurants were amazing. We ate almost every meal either at home or in one of the restaurants down the street.Yetunde has been wonderful and James made sure we had everything we needed. This apartment is the reason we love Paris so much.

We stayed at Paris at Caulaincourt Classique in april 2012 for one week. The apartment is wonderful in the Montmatre district, walking distance from metro stations and buses which took us directly into the heart of Paris in no-time. Wonderful bakeries and a supermarket are nearby and the apartment facilities are very comfortable and the apartment is very clean and tidy. We received a wonderful orientation when we arrived at the apartment and the area from James which helped us settle in. We would highly recommend this apartment for a Paris stay.

My mother and I met up in Europe (I live in aus and she in Canada) and stayed in this lovely apartment for 2 weeks in Jan/Feb 2012 and loved it. The apartment was in a great location, about 2 minutes down the street from a metro station and there was a bus about 10 steps outside the front door that went right through Paris. As well, for a European apartment, it was much bigger than we were expecting, which was nice. Yetunde and James were beyond professional, easy to contact and so helpful with any questions or issues we had. The gift basket we received on arrival was greatly appreciated as well-the bottle of champagne was a lovely touch for my 30th birthday! There is everything you could possibly imagine or need on the street itself: great restaurants, 3 amazing bakeries, chocolate shop, cheese shop, wine shops, fruit/veggies shops, a butcher, pharmacies, florist, supermarket...etc! The kitchen is fully stocked if you wish to make your own meals and there is a washer and dryer as well, so helpful for longer stays! The welcome/info booklet Yetunde has put together is ridiculously informative and offers tons of suggestions for food, shopping, transport etc. Did I mention the computer? Having access to a computer is dead helpful, especially for booking tickets or researching sightseeing!!
We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment and would most definitely go back! Thank you Yetunde and James for helping to make my trip with my mother a memorable one!Response from Feels Like Home in Paris - 02/19/2012

In april my husband and I traveled for the first time to Paris and rented Caulaincourt Classique for a week.
We do not speak any French and so the learning curve is quite steep when you arrive and haven't the faintest idea how to do the things you take for granted at home. This is where to my mind renting from Feels Like Home In Paris stood head and shoulders above any rental companies we have ever used before. Quite helpful was the on-line information we used every day to navigate, select restaurants and plan transportation. We were even given a number of useful guides and maps to help us along the way.
The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. The lovely French windows open onto a somewhat busy street during the day but we found that watching the daily activities was very enjoyable. In the evening and at night the street was really very quiet. We slept very soundly (it probably helped that we walked 8 to 10 miles a day) and never once heard the neighbors. The washer and dryer were efficient and the shower was fine. The toilet was quite tiny by our standards but we did not care. It was clean. The kitchen is modestly but fully equipped with good cooking tools. Le Creuset cookware, real wine glasses, some sharp knives and a good functional coffee maker - I was perfectly happy to prepare a few small meals that we enjoyed sitting at the table pulled up to the window to watch the French world go by.
Three of the best things that we appreciated were the amazing wine and cheese tasting offered to guests of Feels Like Home in Paris. We enjoyed our evening so much and the most beneficial thing as a visitor beyond the actual tasting is the wealth of great information and tips provided by Yetunde, her chef husband Eric and the others who were helping that night. The most useful tip was skipping the metro and riding the busses which are easy to catch and allow you to see so much more of the city as you move from place to place. -

My husband and I chose this apartment for our 20-anniversary trip to Paris. It exactly matched the romantic vision I'd been harboring for the last 5 years or so. A beautiful, tree-lined Parisian street with all the hip cafes and patisseries one could desire. The apartment is newly renovated, comfortably-furnished and loaded with amenities--air-conditioning, TV, internet, phone, laundry, full bath etc. Easy metro access, bus-stop outside the door, sparkling cleanliness and a well-organized and executed rental experience from Yetunde and her associates at Feels Like Home in Paris. This one is a winner!

Everyone at Feels Like Home in Paris made us feel very welcome (including a lovely 'welcome' basket of goodies). They met us at the apartment on our arrival, provided any information we needed, and there was also a folder of really useful information left for our use. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, really well-appointed and well maintained. The clothes dryer was so good I bought a similar one once we returned home!
We looked for something in Monmartre because we liked the feel of the area on a previous trip to Paris. We were very happy with our choice! The apartment is convenient to the metro, which we happily used all the time when we weren't walking places.
I loved having my own kitchen - complete with good cookware and gas stove - after weeks in motels. We loved the friendly locals in our favourite local little shops (visible from the lounge window), who didn't mind helping us brush up on what little French we remembered from way back. We were very comfortable in the apartment during our stay of nearly 2 weeks; we will be back as soon as we can! -

Left on 06/23/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Since we planned to spend our entire trip (10 days) in Paris, we wanted a bit more room than an European hotel could offer. This apartment was perfect. The neighborhood had a good mix of shops & restaurants. We never felt unsafe walking around or down to the metro. We appreciated having the computer to use to look up information and having use of a kitchen to prepare small meals. The only small complaint we had was the lack of towels. There were only 2 bath towels which meant we had to do a bit more washing. I would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights in april. It is a very clean, spacious apartment with everything you could possibly need, including a MaC computer. It was great having a washer and dryer. I was very impressed by the orientation and guide provided by Feels Like Home Paris - everything you need to know was in the guide, as well as recommendations for restaurants. If you want the real Parisian experience, this is the place. Great bakeries, food shops and restaurants were right outside our door. The 80 bus was extremely convenient and the nearest metro stop was only a short walk up the street.

I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights at the end of March. We were greeted by Yetunde who was very efficient, helpful and welcoming. The apartment is beautiful, homely, and full of everything you need for a great stay.
This is the 2nd time I have stayed with this company. I have never been disappointed. It really does feel like you are staying in someones home and much better value and atmosphere than a hotel.
The flat is quite noisy which is the only downside - you can hear every footstep above and there was loud music next door - but this cannot be helped and is similar in any city!
I'll be back next year!Response from Feels Like Home in Paris - 04/19/2011

Happy to have had you back again. So sorry for any noise you experienced. Not an habitual occurrence but the building is inhabited by full time residents. Most apartments in the building still have their original wood floors which can perhaps at times be squeaky. We encourage our guests to feel comfortable to ask a neighbor to lower the sound if it is a disturbance or to let us know. We can try to make things more comfortable as we don't wish anyone to have a bad stay but I have not heard this complaint made about this apartment very often so it may be a rare.

We loved this apartment. It has everything you could want - comfortable beds, fully equipped modern kitchen, perfect location in the fabulous Montmartre neighbourhood. Very spacious as well for Paris. There was even a welcome basket to get us started. Literally every thing you could need is right outside the door - fabulous restaurants, bakeries and fruit sellers. There is a bus stop outside the door and the Metro is just up the street. When you arrive you are provided with an excellent orientation and left with comprehensive guide to the apartment, the area and tips for visiting Paris. And to top it off, there is a complementary wine and cheese at the Cook'n with Class cooking school just a short walk from the apartment. Who could ask for more!

What a wonderful place to stay. We really felt like we were welcomed to our home by Yetunde and Quentin on arrival and the gift basket was lovely, although anything you want or need is just moments from your door. The locals were so friendly and the man in the fruit and vegie shop across the street came out to wave us goodbye when we were leaving in our taxi at the end of our week. Wow. My partner and my two boys (12 and 9) loved our time in Paris and it was easy to get the bus or the metro from the apartment with all the information supplied by Yetunde. The apartment was well set up so that even though it is small, the space has been cleverly used to provide for everything you need and the fold down couch was extreemly comfortable and easy to set up. When we needed anything we rang Yetunde and she was able to give us information and even come straight around to show us again how to work the cable TV or give us extra blankets in a cold snap. The lift was great and security good. Even a laptop and free wifi and free calls to australia. We couldn't have been happier and would love to go back to our home in Paris.

This apartment had everything that we hoped for, from a beautiful location in Montmartre, excellent facilities in the apartment, fine food and restaurants nearby, and extra touches such as hand wash, cooking condiments, well stocked kitchen and a very comfortable bed. This felt like a real home.
We recommend the cooking class given by Eric - fun and educational.

The organisation of FLHP is excellent. Arrangements worked smoothly and efficiently. We were warmly greeted by Yetunde who not only provided a welcome basket but also a very comprehensive set of instructions about everthing in the apartment together with what was available locally. The Metro and bus services are nearby - both of which we used extensively. We thoroughly enjoyed shopping locally and cooking and, without exception, everyone we met was friendly and helpful (given that my husband and I are not fluent French speakers).
A small word of warning if you are a light sleeper. With oak floors every 'bump in the night' was heard quite loudly from the apartment above.
However, this did not spoil our whole experience and we would not hesitate to book with FLHP again -
which we hope to do again next year.
We certainly hope to book with FLHP again next year.

A perfect place for two adults and two big kids/teens. The street is busy with lots of people watching, and while noisy with the windows open, the windows block enough out to sleep well--we live on a completely quiet street at home and slept just fine here. The beds are super comfortable--the sofa bed is a thick, firm foam mattress so no springs to poke anyone. Rarely heard any neighbours, lots of convenient markets/shops just doors away. Use of laundry makes all the difference to a week's stay, great shower, and the kitchen is fully equipped. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this apartment!

This is as close to living as a Parisien as you can get. The convenience of having two of the best bakeries close by meant that we had a wonderful breakfast every day, as well as the supermarket nearby and a fantastic cake shop. It is the loveliest street in Paris and we felt very safe. This is the second time we stayed at Caulaincourt and in fact we came to Paris purely to stay here. Strongly recommend this apartment.

It was so wonderful to have such a great place to return to at the end of each wonderful day in Paris. We had everything we needed to make life so simple and pleasurable. The apartment was so tastfully done and homey. Everything we needed was there in our pleasant abode. A computer to connect to home and a phone to hear our loved ones voices from accross the world. Every cooking utensil to make a gourmet meal if so desired. The bath was a dream. My stay was even more welcoming with the meeting of our wonderful manager Yetunde. My stay in Paris was so very wonderful, I hope to return to our wonderful flat in Montmarte again very soon. Thank you Yetunde for everything!

I highly enjoyed the charming and well-appointed Caulaincourt Classique! Having our very own apartment made it possible to pretend we were real Parisians for a week, sharing the apartment building and bustling street filled with shops with other Paris residents. The convenience of having our own laundry, kitchen (for cups of tea and a few quick meals), Mac with internet connection/phone/radio was also valuable - and we paid less than we would have for a hotel with half those offerings.
All said, I'm quite pleased and ready to try out another Feels Like Home in Paris spot for my second visit!
