Breathtaking! Splendid! Magnificent! Those could be some of the adjectives you use once you get up to Paris With a View and take a look out the living room and bedroom windows to the magnificent view of Paris at your feet and the Eiffel Tower.
The apartment is a bright, spacious and romantic haven with a queen size bed in the bedroom that we can also set up as twin beds and a double sofa bed in the living which has it has its own door for added privacy.

The apartment is located on what is referred to as the Butte de Montmartre along side the sites leading to Sacre Coeur. You can avoid the steps by using the Funiculaire to take you up and then take a few steps down to the rue Gabrielle level. You can also make use of the Monmartrobus that you can catch at metro Jules Joffrin to take you directly up to rue Gabrielle. This little electric bus runs between metros Pigalle and Jules Joffrin.
Metro line 2 which you can catch at Anvers or Pigalle stations is a quick connection to Gare du Nord station (La Chapelle), and to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysee.
Metro line 12 is a a great way to get to Place de la Concorde just at the end of the Tuileries Gardens and the Saint Germain area.

The view was amazing, we could see right across the rooftops to the Eiffel Tower and the location just perfect. The finishing touches such as the use of a mac and wifi were great and we ended up using the recommendations provided for restaurants and had some lovely meals, mixing among locals. Just along the road we found a great place to have a drink and soak in the atmosphere, especially on the weekend when there was live music. The apartment was clean and tidy, with a comfy homely feel and perfect location for nipping out for croissants on a morning for breakfast. Haven't stopped raving about how good this apartment was since we got back!

The owner was really helpful in the run up to our stay. Instructions and directions were very clear. When we arrived, someone was there to show us around the flat and how everything worked. There were lots of guide books and a laptop for guest use so we did not have to bring our own.
The kitchen was well equipped and there were all the creature comforts of home so it was great to relax there are a long day of sight seeing. Shops and transport were just down the hill with a view of the Eiffel Tower from the windows. The Paris With a View apartment was beautiful and truly made us feel at home but the view was like we had gone to Heaven!! We went to sleep every night and awoke every morning to the absolutely beautiful Paris skyline with the Eiffel tower beaming from it all!!! Though we could have taken the Metro, we walked the entire city thanks to your maps and google by foot. We had an amazing time at Cook n with Class, please give Chef Constance a big hug!! We re created the meal from class but it missed her magic!! Thank you Yetunde and Maricel for making our stay so peaceful. We absolutely loved our stay at this fantastic apartment! It was modern, clean and so charming and the view of the Tour Eiffel and the city in general were phenomenal! We stayed here with two children, ages 6 and 10 and were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the neighborhood, Montmartre is great and this apartment is in a fantastic location right next to the funicular. It was so much fun, we hope to return one day!

My husband and I rented Paris with a View for a week in early October through an agency called Feels Like Home in Paris (Flhp). They came highly recommended and I would certainly attest to the professional and helpful service they provided in arranging the rental and welcoming us to the apartment.
We ended up arriving a few hours early in Paris and they accommodated us with grace and good humour. The complimentary wine and cheese class was educational and a fun way to spend our first night in Paris.
The apartment is spacious, particularly by Paris standards, and features all of the amenities we expected, including comfortable furniture, modern, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer and modern bathroom with rain shower. One can look out both the living room and bedroom windows over the rooftops of Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the distance - beautiful at night or day!
The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a typical Paris apartment building about half way up the Funiculaire that one takes to visit Sacre Coeur Cathedral in Montmartre. There is no elevator which means lots of stairs both inside and out. Once you get to the apartment it is worth it, but it would be very difficult for people who are elderly or have disabilities.
The Montmartre area is very picturesque and full of cafes, shops and people. It is in the 18th arr. and we found that we had to travel on the Metro a lot. It was a great way to get to know the city a bit, although the climb at the end of a busy day was challenging at times.
I would highly recommend Flhp for apartment rentals in Paris and would certainly recommend Paris with a View for those travelers looking to stay in a picturesque, romantic apartment in a busy area of the city.

We absolutely loved Paris with a View. During our 18 days at the apartment we spent a lot of time in our room, so accomodations are extremely important to us. There are lots of stairs in the building and surrounding area, but the unit is a wonderful place to call home; very clean, an excellent bed, convenient location. Yetunde, Elinor and ann Marie were responsive and helpful. The complimentary wine and cheese tasting was fun. We really appreciated having the laptop with internet access and free international calls! The property is close to many cafes, restaurants, shops, grocers and bakeries. It is very close to Sacre Coeur and a small amphitheatre where various performances are held. The view of the Eiffel Tower at night especially, is unforgettable. We had to use the metro to go to various tourist destinations, but at the end of the day it was the greatest pleasure to come home to the apartment. Monmartre has a lovely village feel, very different from other parts of Paris. It's our favorite neighborhood. The windows open to fresh air, great views and no traffic noise, being that the unit is located on a quiet "street". The aptmt is filled with natural light. We feel it is truly at "ground zero" and this made our stay in Paris an incredible one. If we come back, it will Paris with a View.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Paris With a View. The apartment was extremely comfortable for my family of four and you can't beat the view! We really enjoyed staying in Montmartre because it is easy enough to get away from the tourist areas that you have the chance to feel like a local. It was wonderful to get up in the morning and head out for fresh pastries or to walk right down the street to the small but well stocked little market. The kitchen in the apartment is small but nice and equipped for simple meals. If you have read any other reviews you probably already know that there are a few stairs involved if you stay at Paris With a View. Well, there are stairs involved if you stay just about anywhere in Montmartre and we found that the stairs did not pose an issue for us, even with two children and sore legs from running the Paris Marathon. Besides, all the steps make it completely guiltless to enjoy all the delights that Paris has to offer. The personal touches were what clearly set this apartment apart. Yetunde was at the apartment when we arrived and provided us with an excellent overview of the apartment and the area. She has created a fantastic reference for the Montmartre area, which has suggestions for everything you might need during your stay. While we had our own laptop, the complimentary Mac Book in the apartment is a very nice touch. We traveled on to Berlin after Paris, and while our apartment there was nice, we lacked the personal details we had received at Paris With a View so it paled in comparison. I would not hesitate to stay at Paris With a View again or recommend it to a friend and based upon our experience with Yetunde, I am quite sure that the rest of Feel Like Home in Paris' properties are equally wonderful.

This was a surprise for my wife's 50th birthday. The accommodation was completely faultless. The apartment is a good size, is quiet and clean. There is a mac with internet access and comprehensive details about the flat and what to do, where to go and a huge listing of recommended restaurants. We chose their number one choice, La Table d'Eugene about 15 minutes walk north. The food was probably as good as anything I have experienced!
The location is great, about 5 minutes from the Sacre Coeur. We spent one day doing the obvious sites and the other two just wandering in Montmartre - there is plenty on the doorstep.
Only one very minor thing - the apartment is up 72 steps which may be an issue for some as there is no lift.

We had a wonderful time in Paris in the snow. The apartment was lovely and warm - great for drying wet clothes! It was well equipped with a view that was ever changing and captivating to watch. The location was excellent, being within walking distance of many shops and a couple of metro lines and close enough to Gare du Nord to walk if you don't have too much luggage. It was a great location for exploring Montmatre. We appreciated the wi-fi and computer when the weather was particularly bad. Our train was delayed by an hour because of the snow but we appreciated Elinor waiting for us when we arrived.

This was the first time my husband and I have rented an apartment for vacation and we are spoiled...no more confining hotel rooms for us! We were met by Yetunde with a marvelous welcome basket of goodies to get us off to a good start, eliminating the immediate need to find a grocer! She was a wealth of information about the apartment and the surrounding area and was patient with all our questions. Like having a friend locally! What a lovely apartment it was with a view of the Eiffel Tower and arc de Triomphe, not to mention that it is in the middle of beautiful Montmartre and just a few steps (literally!) away from bakeries, markets, restaurants, cafes, shops and the metro. Since Paris is a compact city, it's even within walking distance of many major sights. The apartment itself is a fourth floor walkup, 72 spiral steps, no elevator/lift, but well worth the climb. It was relatively quiet considering it's location in the middle of a very active area. The kitchen was modern and well equipped for small meal preparation, although the dining table is located in the living room and must be cleared before using...not a problem for us with so many cafes close by to choose from! The bath was also modern with a wonderful rain-shower fixture and plenty of hot water. The bedroom was quiet and bed comfortable...a must since my husband is a very light sleeper. If we had any complaint, and we really don't, it would be the flooring. Being the original hardwood flooring, it tends to pop and squeak with every step taken. My suggestion to overcome much of this would be to wear soft slippers or socks while in the apartment. We hope to return to Paris again and when we do, I hope this apartment will be available!

A great service.Our more early arrival wasn't a problem at all. It felt like coming home after a long journey. In may it is more noisy than in february, but that is the charme of montmartre.After a day walking trhough the streets of Paris it was good to be at the appartment with all its comfort.
The least are the stairs you have to climb before you can sit on the comfortable sofa. -

Happy to recommend this apartment. Very good location in Montmartre almost next door to the Sacre Coeur. Handy for the local restaurants and shops. Very well furnished and tastefully decorated. Lovely views of the Eiffel Tower across the rooftops from the bedroom and living room.
Lots of steps and steep streets around the apartment - and there's no lift to the apartment. But don't let that put you off. -

Die Wohnung ist ein Traum. Wir fühlten uns rundherum wohl. Bei unserer Ankunft erwartete uns ein kleiner, liebevoll zusammengestellter Präsentkorb. Ein großes Plus war die Waschmaschine inkl. Trockner. Nicht zu vergessen natürlich die supertolle Aussicht. Das Bett war so groß, gemütlich und kuschelich, dass es schwer viel es zu verlassen ;-). Die Gegend ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für all unsere vielen Unternehmungen gewesen. Wir fühlten uns gut betreut und kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.

I really enjoyed staying at this apartment. Although I had been to Paris several times, this was my first apartment experience. I recommend going the apartment route and this one is just a jem.
You must be mindful that there are stairs, so you need to think about that when you stay here, but the apartment and the view more than pay off having to do a few stairs. The view at night from the bedroom window is reason enough to rent this apartment.
I'd also add another benefit is the great location ... what a wonderful neighborhood with some great shops and restaurants.
The introduction to the appartment was great and the rooms and appointments were excellent. -

We had a wonderful week in beautiful (but uncommonly cold) Paris the middle of January in 2009. Yetunde met us at the apartment and made sure we knew where everything we might need would be...and that we were comfortable not only in the beautiful apartment, but in the community as well. The home provided everything we might need, washer/dryer, beautiful bathroom, easy and light kitchen...and at night...we went to sleep admiring a view of the tower and the lights of the city. It was so nice for us to invite our friends in Brussels and Aix to come and stay with us...instead of us landing on their doorstep again as we enjoyed the sights of Europe. We have recommended this apartment to several friends..but you need to book ahead - as it appears to be popular. Enjoy...we did!

From start to finish the service i received from Yetunde was first class. She helped me to not only choose the correct location for my weekend break, but also took care of a few little surprises i had planned for my girlfriend.
The place was perfect, amazing views over the city and right next to Montmartre. The location was fantastic, enabling us to enjoy the more relaxed, artistic, and less touristy side of Paris. It really enabled us to see a side of Paris that is far different to the centre.
Be warned that the stairs up the apartment take some conquering, but the view from the bedroom more than makes up for it.
5 stars across the board, i will be using the place again i am sure! -

We stayed in the Paris with a view apartment after much research online.
I booked the apartment due to the location and the view of the Eiffel Tower and we weren't disappointed with either!
The apartment was lovely too, perfect for a couple and very nicely furnished, so much nicer than staying in a miniture parisian hotel room for twice the price.
Really highly recommended, we hope to go back again soon. -

We were very impressed with this apartment and even more so the second time around....we also stayed there in July 2008. The welcome was wonderful; the helpful person who greeted us, the flowers, the welcome basket. The view is exactly what it is.....Paris with a View......and not just because of the Eiffel Tower (and that was very impressive). The apartment was clean, airy, well equipped. The location is exactly where you want to be; we spent the day in Paris and the late afternoon and evening in Montmarte. The only downside is the fact that there is not a lift but the stairs were very good exercise. I wish we were coming back for 2010 but maybe 2011.

Paris With a View was more than I expected.
Right next to Sacre Couer, and a very lovely neighbourhood. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops around, and a short walk to the Metro Abbesse.
The view of Eiffel Tower at dusk and dawn will not disappoint. Also, the apartment was well-equipped, and very comfortable.
Thank you to Yetunde for her flexibility, it was very pleasant dealing with all at FLHP as a whole.

He spended tree day at this lovely place with our japanees friends (10 years old), the apartment is complet aquipped with all you need to feel well and at home. It was good cleaned. To hand over of key was easy and very friedly. When we came home at the evening we was realy enthusiastic to have the view to the illuminated Eiffel tower( 21.00). This summer we recommend the apartment our friends. For me was the best place I ever found in paris....see you...

Die Wohnung war sauber und eine perfekte Küche mit Staubsauger und Spülmachine- schön eingerichtet mit Flair zum Wohlfühlen- direkt am Mont Matre so dass man abends locker ausklingen lassen kann auch, wenn die Kinder schon schlafen. Our time at this amazing flat in Montmartre was so wonderful that we
started trying to figure out how soon we could return...as soon as we were
back home!
We stayed for a week in September 2009, and we felt at home from the
moment we stepped in the door. All dealings with Feels Like Home in Paris
were professional and prompt. No worries at all!
Within a day, we had found our favourite patisserie and restaurant, and
veggie stores (great kitchen!) The ampitheatre just up the stairway had a
show on each night, so we enjoyed Renaissance music in the evenings. We
also really loved riding the Velib rental bikes into the centre of Paris (watch
the one way system). It was also quite a lovely walk into the centre (don't
just take the Metro - you miss so much!)
As for the flat, it was just perfect, the internet connection and free
international calls were invaluable, the decor was very "Paris", and the little
treats left for us were quite special.
One of our favourite things about staying "way up high on the hill" was the
wonderful view of the Paris rooftops and the Eiffel Tower (lit up at night).
But we also loved the weight loss and fitness regime that came from
climbing the wonderful hills and stairs of Montmartre (and the Abbesses
Metro station!)...then the apartment stairs... That allowed us to eat all the
croissants that we wanted!!!

Note on stairs: You actually can use the elevator to get out of the Abbesses metro station but you do miss the wall paints on the way up. You can also use the Funiculaire to get up to the building so you don't have to use the stairs to get on the hill but the stairs are part of the charm and you see lots of lovely things along the way.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment "Paris With a View" for four nights on our way to Italy. We received a warm welcome and settled in very quickly and our teenagers felt totally at home being able to avail of the applemac laptop. Dont be put off with the steps up to the aparment, well worth it when you get to the top. Breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower especially at night. Great location for restaurants, transport and of course step outside the front door to the Sacres Coeur. Highly recommended. We will be definitely be back.

Attention to detail is the service we received which in turn made us feel very welcome with plenty of information about the apartment facilities,tips for eating out and places to visit.
Paris with a view ticked all the boxes - pleasing to the eye,a place to feel a sense of well-being and a place to retreat to and put your feet up at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. The decor was lovely with good amenities.
Location was magic, lots to see and do in Montmartre.The steps presented a challenge at the end of each day so a traveller needs good health and mobility!
I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and a big thank you to staff handling our booking. Thoughtful details made our stay in Paris a wonderful experience. -

The whole experience of booking online and all the extra information received to help us get to the apartment meant this was the most stress free vacation we have had for a long time.The pictures of the apt.made you feel you knew the place before arriving ,area info great help and it renewed my love of Paris.Loved the freedom of the apartment and to have the Sacre Coeur as your neighbour,who could ask for more.The climb up to the apartment was hard after a days sightseeing but well worth it for the fabulous views over the city and twinkling Eiffel Tower from your window.Apartment well furnished really good shower and nice kithen facilities.Great bonus was the use of applemac and internet for the teenager.All in all we all loved our own little place in Paris.

Having booked appartments in Venice, London & another in Paris; we were generally disappointed UNTIL WEe ARRIVED HERE! At the meet & greet we rec'd a handover which left nothing unsaid (how to operate washing machine, where to get groceries, how other appliances worked etc + a comprehensive orientation booklet...simple things that were a common source of frustration everywhere else we had stayed: Above all, the property description was 100% accurate (again a common problem elsewhere) & OUR VIEW IN THE MORNING OVER THE ROOFTOPS TO THE EIFFEL TOWER was well worth the money.
Furthermore, I cannot speak more hightly of Yetunde & his team at "Feels Like Home in Paris". Very professional..nothing was a problem & they managed our full deposit refund despite an accident with a glass of wine with our satisfaction in mind:
