PerthA great apartment in a great suburb!!
Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location - on the far side of Montmartre away from the tourist haunts, let us imagine we were living like real Parisians even if only for the few days of our stay!!
The whole process from the initial enquiry to booking to actual arrival was dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner with the owner's representative Eugenio meeting us on arrival. He was most helpful thoroughly explaining all the various features of the partment and the means of operating all the appliances.
The apartment is perhaps the best fitted out of any we've stayed at in Europe and although smallish was more than adequate for 2 people.
But the location was the highlight. Only a hundred metres or so from the underground rail station and with a wide and varied range of restaurants and stores in the immediate vicinity. (can particularly recommend the cakes and baguettes at the local boulangerie)
We spent most of our afternoons wandering and exploring Montmartre, an enjoyable and enlightening pastime.
Absolutely recommend this apartment - we certainly hope to get back one day!!Response from nicole goldman - 11/19/2012

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed for 9 days at this lovely flat. It has everything you need and is close by to metro, boulangerie, supermarket, etc.
Thank you to Eugenio for helping us out with loads of information on our arrival. We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Left on 10/09/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Excellent apartment situated near the Lemark metro and in a nice neighbourhood.
My family stayed 5 nights in mid-September. We arrived very early for check in and although Eugenio was still cleaning the apartment, he let us leave our luggage there and directed us to the nearest supermarket, so we could stock up our groceries.
The sofa bed was surprisingly big enough for my 2 boys and very comfortable too. The kitchen is well equipped, including spices, oil coffee, tea etc.
There were a few English channels on TV, mainly news, sports and music. We could also make free calls home (to landline numbers). Free Wi-Fi too.
The washing machine and dryer came in real handy too.
The small toilet is in separate room from the bathroom.
Bathroom is spacious, includes a bathtub and shower.
There was only small hand wash gel available, so bring your own shampoos and conditioners.
What I liked best was the variety of books in the apartment; I managed to finish a novel during my stay.
Check out was quick, and no problem with refund of deposit.
Thank you so much Nicole and Eugenio!

Thank you Nicole.
We truly enjoyed our week stay in Paris...it was so nice coming back to a nice, clean and comfortable apartment after all the exploring we did.
Thank you Eugenio for being so accommodating.
Our flight landed so early, 7am and although he was busy cleaning the apartment, he allowed us to check-in and leave our luggage in the apartment. He directed us where to shop for groceries and even gave us a nice trolley bag to use for our shopping.
The apartment is in a good location, near so many nice cafes, and near the Metro which we used daily. My boys were very happy with the free internet...they could update details of our holidays daily to family at home. I was amazed we could call home for free (landline calls).
The kitchen was well equipped and complete with spices, salt even oil. All came in handy for preparing breakfast.
The sofa bed was surprisingly big and comfortable, enough for my 2 boys. Although I had requested for an extra mattress I didn’t have to use it.
Checkout was quick, thanks again Eugenio .
We had a fantastic holiday in Paris and would definitely stay here again.Response from nicole goldman - 11/19/2012

What a wonderful place to call home after a long day in the city. The Metro ride is a bit longer but it gives you time to relax before getting back to the apartment. The location is perfect and the flat is very sunny with many windows. It's also a secured building and we felt like it was a very safe area. In the morning you can walk 2 minutes to a lovely bakery for fresh bread and pastries. The flat has a french press for coffee which we loved. Every corner of the street has something that will help you. A great small market for quick things to pick up and wonderful fresh fruits and veggies. A pharmacy for those emergencies if needed and a great restaurant that for us became a nightly stop for a glass of wine. We also ate there a few times as well. There are many choices at night for dinner after a full day in the city. Our night walks were the best. What a beautiful part of Paris. It offers so much, but has a feeling of true Parisian life. A little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city area.
Nicole is simply wonderful and answers all your e-mails very quickly. Eugenio who will meet you, greets you with a great smile, gives you the tour and will stay to answer any questions you may have. This was our first time using FlipKey so we were a bit nervous. This turned out to be perfect in every sense of the word.
The flat has everything you need. The shower is hot the beds were comfortable and the location is perfect. A large market is also very close as well.
The Metro is very close to the flat. You can have breakfast before hoping on the Metro or stop just for a coffee. We used the bus a lot because you got to see so much more that way. The stops tell you how long it will be till the bus will be coming and on the bus a sign tells you all the stops they make. We saw so much of the city this way and got off when we wanted to.
The flat keeps a journal which I think I wrote a book of things you might like to do. It's a great read and I recommend it to everyone and to write your favorites in it as well. Paris is a big city and suggestions are great. We loved our entire 2 weeks and will return again next year. We feel that we have found a home away from home.

Left on 08/24/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We are an older and somewhat sedate couple who stayed in this flat for a week at the beginning of august. It was a great base to use, in a fantastic neighborhood, to explore the city in the way we did (lots and lots of walking/public transportation.) The flat is exactly as depicted in the pictures. It’s perfect for a couple. It’s clean and comfortable. It has most of what you need for a stay of a week. It was great to have the use of a washer/dryer right in the apartment. WiFi works well; be sure to download the Yelp app for Paris and use the functions that allow you to read reviews of many of the shops/restaurants in the area.
The owner (Nicole) was a pleasure to deal with. We had numerous communications over the months and she was very accommodating, flexible and understanding. If you rent from her, you can rest assured she is honest and more than fair. Her agent, Eugenio, was also very helpful despite the fact that due to a late plane, we arrived many hours later then expected. They run a first-class operation with this apartment.
Back to the flat: There are at least four English speaking news stations on the TV. Kitchen is equipped with the basics so you can cook just about anything. It’s a very pleasant five minute walk to the Metro 12 line. Being so close to a metro station is a huge bonus. When you explore the city as we did it’s nice not to have to bother factoring time in going to and from the station. The neighborhood (below and behind the Sacre Coure as viewed from central Paris) feels very genuine even though there are a fair amount of tourists. No matter which street you walk down, you will find an amazing array of eateries, bars, small markets and seemingly always, a handful of cafes with their tables dominating the sidewalk. There are a couple of full sized markets in the neighborhood. Bring with you some type of carrying bag as you’re expected to bring your own bag(s) to the market. Don’t ignore the small restaurants that provide take-out, which, coupled with very inexpensive prices of store bought beer and wine can make for a good, inexpensive dinner back at the flat. We ate at L'Etoile, three doors down from the flat as the well as the small pizza café across the street on the bedroom side of the flat. Both are good options among so many.
Walk ten minutes to the remarkable tourist area on the backside of Sacré Cœur a block up from the Museum of Montmartre. It’s very interesting with lots of dedication plaques affixed to architecturally interesting buildings. The area feels very safe with lots of restaurants and shops geared for tourists. You can't go wrong renting this flat.Response from nicole goldman - 09/11/2012

Thanks Nicole and thanks Eugenio!!
We were very happy staying in this apartment for a week in June 2012. Eugenio was kind enough to wait for us to let us into the apartment as we were running somewhat late. There was a binder in the apartment with useful information for getting around Paris, and Eugenio answered other questions we had being our first time in Paris. We were provided a metro map which came in so handy as we used it every day riding in Paris.
The apartment is excellent. It is very clean and in a very good condition. We were a family with a 4 year old and a 6 year old kids, and the size of the apartment was just perfect. Beds were comfortable. We felt right at home, and had everything we needed for a several day stay with kids i.e. washer&dryer; with detergent, full kitchen (even towelpaper), TV, phone, internet etc.
Subway is only a few minutes walk away... so convenient. And Sacre Coeur is a walking distance. There's is a bakery just across the street and a grocery store close by.
I would definitely stay in this apartment again, and I already recommended it to my friends. Everything was perfect. Another review mentioned noise, however we did not feel it was noisy at all.
Thanks Nicole for being accommodating and responding to our request quickly, and thanks Eugenio - you're doing a great job!!Response from nicole goldman - 08/15/2012

We spent a week here with our two children (10 and 4) and enjoyed it very much. The apartment was neat and well stocked. The walls are covered with art. Our exchanges with the apartment owner were efficient and easy. Her rep in Paris (who met us with the keys and showed us around the apartment) was very friendly and helpful.
The street noise is a little bit above average -- only a problem if you need absolute quiet.
We really enjoyed morning cafe and several dinners at L'Etoile de Montmartre, just downstairs on the corner. Very friendly and good food.
Another favorite was au Bon Coin, nearby at 49 rue Cloys.
The immediate neighborhood is pleasant, not touristy. The heart of Montmartre is five or ten minutes walk. -

We just had enjoyable time staying in Paris. The apartment is stylist and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. An elevator provides easy access to the apartment. It is in a very vibrant and interesting area of Paris and near restaurants, local markets and public transportation. The apartment is near attractions such as Montmartre and Sucre de Coeur.
The manager has arranged for someone to meet us at the apartment on our arrival. The unit was very clean when we arrived and seemed very safe and secure. You will be provided with the binder with very useful information. The noise wasn’t really an issue. It is just people taking in the near by restaurants until 11-12. You cannot expect deadly silent in such a big city like Paris.
Everything went very smoothly just be prepare to stay in a line for Eifel Tower more then 2 hours as only 1 elevator worked.
We bought a tickets to Musee de Louvre and Musee D’Orsay at Metro Station Palais Royal-Musee de Louvre which saved lots of time. Go to Paul café at Louver for delicious pastries. Enjoy Paris I am already envy you.Response from nicole goldman - 05/20/2012

We (4 friends ) stayed at this apartment for 3 nights. The apartment is lovely and as shown in the pictures. The location is in a really nice part of Montmartre and so close to the metro. It was really convenient if you want to be out late at night. The area is surrounded with cafes, shops and restaurants and the beautiful Sacre Couer is so close by we went there on all 3 days. Apartment has a lift which is useful for luggage and the sofa bed is comfortable for two people to share.
We drove from England and parked our car near Rue Duhesme so if you're thinking of driving there are loads of car parks close to the apartment where you can leave the car and travel around in the metro in central Paris.
Special mention goes to Eugenio who was very patient to wait for us as we couldn't find our car park at first so were running late. Thanks Eugenio :) -

Left on 03/25/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The apartment was very well equipped and furnished, and was good sized for Europe. The three of us were very comfortable. The washer and dryer came in very handy as did the dishwasher. The kitchen is typically small but has everything you need, and more. Wonderful to have an elevator as most apartment buildings in Paris don't have one. Wireless Internet worked great - never watched TV so can't comment on that. Short walk to the metro, and two bakeries and large grocery store were very close - great location. The owner, Nicole is great - she responded quickly to any concerns we had to make sure we had a good stay. Her representative Eugenio was also very helpful. We would have given the apartment five stars had it not been for the loud noise late at night on the corner nearby on several of the nights we were there. That's not within the owner's control, but be aware - otherwise our stay was perfect.

Left on 03/02/2012 for a stay in February 2012
This is a nice little apartment, very convenient to the Metro on Montmartre. The problem is that that windows block out very little sound, and when we were there the nights were loud with partiers until 2 or 4 in the morning. You can also hear the subway in the apartment, which is very unexpected, but not that loud-- I could have lived with that.
If you can live with the noise, it is a very nice, small but well laid out and well equipped apartment.Response from nicole goldman - 03/09/2012

Dear Suzanne
As you can see I approve all reviews the excellent ones the good ones and the less complimentary ones like yours
I was very sorry to hear that you were annoyed by the noise in the sreet at night
I admit that it can happen
after all we are in a big city
I have got more reviews saying that it was lively but quiet
but I believe you entirely
I am emailing you from the flat and "at the moment " it is quiet
I have fitted the best sound proof double glazing ,I could find on the market for those WE nights when some youngsters are not very considerate
and the beauty of this flat is that there are plenty of windows over looking a completely silent court yard so can still open those windows
Again I am sorry that your stay was less than perfect as we always try to offer the best we can to our paying guests
I wish you the best for the future

Left on 11/23/2011 for a stay in October 2011
We stayed in the apartment for three nights. My husband and his parents all stayed, with us on the pull out couch.
The apartment is in a fantastic location with restaurants, bars, supermarket and the metro all within short walking distance. There was something very mystical and special about being able to wander up to the atmospheric Sacre Couer (10 min walk max) which (in my opinion) was at its best at night and choosing from the plethora of restaurants up there! its also very vibrant by day with markets etc. We especially enjoyed watching the NZ all Blacks beat australia in the semi final Rugby World Cup match! As we are from NZ it was sensational and made extra special with pain du chocolat and coffee!
The apartment is not huge but cleverly designed to fit in all the amenities you could ever possibly need and it has a separate toilet from the bathroom which is really important when travelling with more than 2 people. Also a great point of difference is that the bathroom is a really decent size and the shower is fantastic, not the norm in a lot of apartment rentals in Europe! Eugenio was lovely to wait for us as we navigated terrible Paris traffic in a rental car to reach the apartment (I do not recommend travelling into Paris by car if you can help it) arriving way later than we said we would!
Overall I will definitely be staying here again and recommend the place to most travelers. Merci!Response from nicole goldman - 11/23/2011

We stayed at this apartment in July 2011. The booking was very easy and we were met at the apartment promptly on our arrival. After a long day of walking the busy streets of Paris it was so nice to come back to this lovely little apartment with every convenience. It had a nice TV, a laptop with internet, free long distance phone calls, the kitchen was well stocked and was very comfortable for the two of us. Very close to the metro, within walking distance of Sacre Couer, very lovely neighborhood on the edge of the tourist area of Monmartre. There was a lovely bakery on the corner, and there was a local supermarket with everything you would need 3 minutes around the corner. If you are from North america don't expect North american standards in as far as size, for Paris this is a big apartment, a truely Parisian experience. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, convenient and economical place to stay in Paris.

Upon arrival at the airport in Paris we followed the directions to the flat that the owner had emailed to us. This made getting there on the metro absolutely hassle-free.
The flat is in a great location with easy access to the metro. Nearby are good bars, cafes and shops and the Salvador Dali gallery is close by as well, (which if you're a fan is a must.)
The flat is comfortable and the aspect very nice. The owner has ensured you'll have everything you need during your stay. For eg, In the lounge are books/guides to exploring Paris which was an added bonus as I hadn't bought a guide with me.
The flat has a large tub to soak in which was appreciated after exploring all day. We enjoyed 5 nights at the flat very much. The locals we meet at the nearby bars ect were very friendly too.

I found this property to be excellent for a family with children. The location was ideal. Everything was at your doorstep. Grocery store, bakery, many restaurants. The Sacre Coeur was within walking distance. The metro with an elevator, is maybe a 2 min walk away and is ideal for anyone with a stroller. You are about 8 stops from downtown and then you are within walking distance of all the sites. My 8 and 5 year old children walked to everything with no complaints.

The appartment is located within a 5min walk of the local Metro Station, the local supermarket and an excellent range of restaurants.
We were delighted how easy it was to travel to all the famous Paris sights from the local Metro Station, sadly we only spent a week in the appartment.

Danke Nicole! Wir kommen gern wieder! Michael und Ulla -

What a fabulous apartment! It is secure, clean, private and charming. We had a wonderful time walking around the Montmartre area. It is close to lots of fabulous cafes and restaurants. It is convieniently located close to a Metro station, although it is not difficult to walk to the centre of Paris.
We would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Paris and would highly recommend it to anyone who is planning on staying in the city.

Bratislava, SlovakiaBeautiful experience at Montmartre
Left on 03/02/2011 for a stay in July 2009
Very nice place at Montmartre only 10-15 min. walk from Sacr?-Coeur. Apartment was comfortably furnished with everything that you could possibly need during stay, fully equipped kitchen, access to internet. We stayed for 8 nights and we were very satisfied during our stay. The agent was really kind and provided us with all informations we needed.
In the area there was plenty of restaurants and caf?s, big supermarket nearby. Also very good transport connections to main railway stations. Metro was very close to apartment.
We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends.Response from nicole goldman - 03/09/2011

"The reception from Eugenio was exceptional... He picked us up at he metro-station to be sure we wouldn't get lost :D(Not that it at all would have been a problem) Because we looked so tired he took as many of our bags as he could carry... A real french gentleman! The apartmen was as expected! Cute, clean and perfect for the 4 of us girls! It was a nice feature that the bathroom and the toilet was separated, especially with 4 girls getting ready for at nigth in the beautiful city. The cornershop was great for small everyday items, but except for that we didn't come at the close by stores and restaurants because we mostly was in the center of town or at the Eiffel tower(Great place to meet other young turist and the local youth). To sum up, A great vacation and a great flat!!""Perfect vacation for 4 young girls!"

The appartment is in a great location, the subway is very near, yet the neighborhood is very relaxed and authentic. We loved it! The appartment itself is very friendly, there's lots of light, and all necessary appliances. We were there my husband and I and our 2 sons who were then 2 1/2 years old and 7 months old.
We rented this appartment twice. -
