Just between Pigalle and abbesses Metro stations (Less than 5-min walk to each). With cafes, gift shops, bakeries, supermarkets and post office nearby. Feels safe even when walking alone at night.
[Apartment Itself]
Stylish interior design, comfortable beds, neat and tidy, spacious kitchen with full kitchenware. Comfortable shower and bathroom (rare for Paris hotels). Comfy sitting area, thoughtful owner even picked some really nice Dvds for guests to enjoy! (This apartment is too comfortable and nice that I somehow feel too lazy and relaxed to go out sometimes!)
[Check-in & out]
While the official check-in time is 3pm, I am so happy to see how the owner really tries to make your stay the most convenient and comfortable for you! I told Lionel that my flight arrives Paris in 7am and would love to check-in earlier if possible. Right in the morning that I arrived, Lionel gave me a call telling me that he had arranged the cleaning lady to come earlier and the apartment will be available at 11am! When I arrived, the housekeeper is already there waiting for me to give me the keys. Checking out cannot be simpler - just leave the keys on the kitchen table and go!
Lionel came for a brief visit at night for a happy chat and signing the rental contract. A super nice owner that genuinely cares about whether you enjoy your stay in his apartment as well as in Paris! Plenty of recommendations on things to do and where to eat!
[Attractions Nearby]
Located in the prime Montmartre area. Comfortable walking distance to Place du Tertre, the Sacre Coeur area and also Moulin Rouge. I feel lucky that I've chosen this area to live in, where I can easily avoid crowds of tourists and witness the real beauty of the attractions during non-peak hours.
If I were to pick the least likable thing about the apartment - it's that my stay was too short! I will recommend this apartment to any of my friends and family and I will definitely be back! :)

I've stayed at two apartments 4 U apartments (Artist's Corner & Montmartre Chic II) several times and every time was fantastic. Lionel is extremely accommodating and the apartments were always well stocked and- to boot- in the heart of beautiful Montmartre. The apartments are sleek, clean and truly Parisian!

Although it's been over a month since we've returned from Paris, we just had to make sure that we left a review of recommendation! The check-in process was quick and easy with Lionel being a very friendly and welcoming host. Having researched numerous hotels beforehand we would advise you to not waste your time in doing the same because you won't find anywhere else that offers value for money in terms of room size, kitchen facilities, cleanliness, free wifi, ambience (the list could just go on).
The apartment block feels very safe and the room is decorated simply but perfectly just like the pictures show. The location is great with the nearest metro station, Pigalle being almost on your doorstep and Moulin Rouge a few metres walk away too. If you're coming from the Eurostar like we did then even better as Gard du Nord is on the same line as Pigalle so it's extremely convenient to get to the apartment and back to the Eurostar when you depart. The area is lively at night, which for us made it feel safe and it also offers several great bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants and bars nearby.
Undoubtedly you will be carrying out a lot of research into Paris before your trip just as we did but if we could offer you a tip from our experience then it would be to save your time and just book a place with apartments-4u...you won't regret it and we would definitely be doing the same if we were to plan another visit.
We really could go on with all the positive comments as the apartment truly completed our visit to Paris, making it a memorable time despite the rain! As other reviewers have mentioned, Lionel is the perfect host and even though this is obviously a business for him to rent these apartments, he really does have genuine and sincere intentions for you to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. On a personal note, many thanks Lionel for accommodating to out check out needs...it was really a big help!

We stayed at Monmartre Chic in October 2012. We really liked the location - just maybe hundred metres from the metro station (Pigalle) - which was very convenient, walking distance to Sacre Coeur & Moulin Rouge, if you have time you can even walk to the Louvre or Gallerie Lafayette. The apartment itself was as on the photos published, clean and cozy, perfect for the couple. Service was good, the booking & check in were easy & quick.
We would definitely stay there again -

This past summer I had the opportunity to rent this wonderful little place in the 18th (arrondissement). Although, I was skeptical at first with the neighborhood, I rapidly realised that it was safe and that the building itself was very clean and very safe with great tenants! You are literally 3 minutes from rue Les abesses, rue Les Martyrs and 5 minutes from rue Lepic, a great street for foodies. Lionel, the owner, is a perfect gentleman. He wrote me a list with all his favorite restaurants and museums. The ones that I tried were all good. Furthermore, he knew that I was alone for three weeks in Paris so one night he came by and invited me for a drink. I am telling you, a real gentleman. It is without any hesitation that I recommand this apartment.

I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment! It is very conveniently located near 2 metro stops in the best part of Montmartre. Communication with the owner was very good and the check-in experience was much easier then another apartment I stayed in in Paris. Things I really liked: The place was very clean, the wifi was reliable, the shower was spacious by Paris standards. Minor improvements that could be made: There is not a phone in the apartment, which was a little problem for me since I had not enabled my phone to work over seas. Also, bring soap. I'm used to staying in hotels so I never think to pack soap myself.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place! -

Your team was more than accomodating, especially given our last minute request for an apartment in Paris. We loved the decor, the apartment was very clean, the building was quiet, and we especially loved the location. Great location for restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, and so close to two different subway stops. Thanks again!

My wife, 19 year old daughter and were scheduled to be in Paris for 2 nights before returning to the States, and had originally reserved a "triple room" hotel room. In trying to locate an alternative that would be more comfortable, I went through an exhaustive last minute (a few days before leaving for Europe) search on Trip advisor for a flat for two nights...virtually every landlord or rental facility required a minimum of three nights-without exception. As much as I pleaded, I was unsuccessful. That is, until I talked with Lionel, who with his brother owns several apartments in Paris for rent. They have spared no expense in terms of making the accommodations comfortable, neat, with high quality equipment, including a washer/dryer in the kitchen.
Lionel agreed to rent the apartment to us for two nights, although he charged me a little more, but it was well worth it. The location was ideal...right up the street from a metro stop and some of the best dining opportunities in the Montmartre area, and we were within walking distance of the Sacre Coeur. That area of town is becoming more gentrified and the building is in great condition-a bit of a tight fit getting on the elevator, but if you're ok with walking a flight or two of steps, you'll really enjoy the apartment and the location.
Our only downside was that the apartment was so new to the market that the wireless had not been implemented into the unit-we did have wireless access via another apartment's password-with Lionel's permission, and I'm sure by now, he has wireless in the unit. Of course, with our short stay in Paris, not having wireless was a very minor irritant.
If/when traveling to Paris for more than a couple of days, I definitely would contact Lionel-he delivered the goods.Response from Apartments For You - 09/09/2012
